Science Vs. Sorcerery (Facilier)

[Mechakara]

(ooc: March 22nd. Morning.)

Mechakara was furious as he stormed the circus. His daughter had been hurt the previous day in a battle against Malachite. He'd made sure she was safe before he'd snuck out. No one knew where he was going. He'd left a hologram projection of himself. Sure they'd probably see through it eventually but not in time to stop this fight. He was going to make Malachite, Facilier, and Rita pay for their enslavement. And his daughters' suffering. He grinned as he arrived at the circus. He detected Facilier was nearby and grinned. This was easier than he thought. Everyone else here would be asleep or elsewhere. Now was the time to strike. He grinned darting forward only to find nothing.

"I was sure he was here." said Mechakara.

He paused as he heard a familiar laughter as he turned to go but the door closed and was magically shealed shut. He'd fallen into one of Facilier's traps.

"Well it seems I was expected. But if you think you can trap me that easily you're mistaken. Show yourself or I'll bring this whole circus down." said Mechakara.

Facilier was very aware Mechakara would come crawling back. For if there was one thing that was predictable, it was his love for his children. Anyone who harmed them would face his supposed wrath. He made sure malachite was away from it all, the boys away also and just commanded everyone to leave the robot to him. Oh he had plans. Plenty of plans for the bastard who got away. He enticed the robot's senses with his powers before locking him within the room. He laughed in evil delight, hearing Mechakara demand him to face the robot.

"And let you consistently beat me up? I don't think so robo-boy. You really think you just crawling here like your stupid kid is going to solve anything? She deserved it. She came into my domain. I'm excited to get the word of her death" Facilier taunted teasingly, hoping this would provoke pure frustration from the robot. He sneaked with precision in the shadows. Then he used his cane to deliberately attack Mechakara's back.

[Mechakara]

Mechakra smirked at the reply.

"Well perhaps you have some intelligence after all. But that won't save you." said Mechakara.

He glared at him clenching his fists in annoyance.

"How dare you insult my daughter. You're going to pay." said Faciiler.

He was taken by surprise as he was whacked with a cane in the back as he stumbled falling to his knees bracing himself from falling completely. He paused whirling around but there was no sign of his attacker. He frowned remembering Facilier's magic was shadows which meant he could attack him and hide again with ease. Perhaps he should have thought his plan through. But there was no turning back now.

(ooc: feel free to have facilier's shadow minions grab mechakara and beat him up for a bit. or hold him while facilier doest the beating. after all hard to fight shadows after all.)

(OCC: Facilier's gonna do it. He's egotistical like that. But Mechy can always escape whenever you want)

"Oh I disagree completely. Brain always defeats brawn" Facilier snapped from the shadows. He then chuckled as Mechakara evidentially got angrier as DarkHeart was insulted "The truth really hurts doesn't it? The fact of the matter is. Your daughter came here first and she brought this on herself. It really is a shame you raised such a stupid, stupid little girl. But maybe that's just your own fault. She has a idiot for a father" He then grinned as his attack was successful. Mechakara honestly looked hilarious wandering about, trying to find the attacker.

Facilier then showed himself but with him were two big shadows. He raised his cane at Mechakara and replied "Hold him tight, boys. I think I need to relieve some anger on his face" The shadows growled and laughed, one immediately tightened around the middle of Mechakara's body while the other held his feet. Facilier walked and whistled "Well, well now. It seems like deja vu up in here. You were at my mercy and threatening to destroy me. Shame that hasn't happened yet. Let's see instead of magic, my fists teach you a lesson" After he cracked his knuckles, he immediately made a quick swipe across Mechakara's cheek, and did it again and again, intentionally worse than ever as it went on.

[Mechakara]

Mechakara glared at him.

"Yes but just brute strength can get you killed. It takes intelligence to use it. And I have the perfect balance of brains, brawns, and magic. You only have magic." said Mechakara.

He growled at him.

"I know she game without my approval. I told her to stay and she ignored me. But she's paid enough for that. But I will make you all pay for hurting my daughter. Neither of my children are stupid and I'm not an idiot. You're the idiot." said Mechakara.

Mechakara struggled in vain as the shadows held him. Facilier taunted him before punching Mechakara in the face each getting worse as Mechakara could tell he was getting damaged but not too badly. Facilier seemed to forget he was a cyborg. Mechakara chuckled.

"If that's the best you can do then your army will fall quicker than I expected." taunted Mechakara.

(ooc: up to you but perhaps he taunts him with ice. maybe freezes his feet in place at some point.)

"Touche, robo-boy. You have me there. So it's really good that I do indeed have both as well as magic. Don't worry. The fight you want from me is exactly what you're gonna get!" Facilier threatened as Mechakara and him kept debating. He then laughed as Mechakara defended DarkHeart, that while she did put herself in that situation, the cruelty that was given to her was completely undeserved. That she did deserve punishment but not in the way malachite did it. That his children weren't stupid and neither was mechakara himself, it was facilier. Facilier at that laughed harshly "You really are shooting the bottom of the barrel to try to defend your daughter's actions. Think about it! She disobeyed you! She did everything she could to make my partner hurt and he only defended himself! Why not just go home and let her die like she clearly deserves!"

He then rubbed his hands after he punched Mechakara. The shadows kept holding him still as he backed away. He cursed as he remembered the robot was just that. A robot. He couldn't feel such simple pains as a punch. And if he would, it would take a lot of effort. He then looked to see Mechakara with that blasted amused look. He then chuckled, remembering that magic was the one thing this robot couldn't completely understand "You're right. Punches won't send the message home. Besides, I'm feeling way hot in this blasted tent" He grabbed his cane and the top of it glowed a icy blue "Let's cool off together shall we?" He then blasted the wall which turned into a patch of ice. He then laughed at Mechakara's reaction "What's the matter? Are you scared? Of ice? It's refreshing! See?!" He then pointed the top of the cane right near Mechakara's face, not to harm or freeze it but enough for the robot to just FEEL it.

(OCC: Next post I make will have mechy trapped with his feet in ice)

[Mechakara]

Mechakara smirked.

"Ha! You don't have any strength. Without your magic you're nothing. I may have gained magic but I don't need it to defeat you. I'm a cyborg and I have plenty of power to take you down. In a battle of strength I know I'd win. But we're villains after all so this fight wouldn't be evenly matched no matter how we fought it." said Mechakara.

Mechakara glared and shook his head.

"She was getting her revenge. I told her to wait until we could plan it better. But no matter. I'm going to make sure you suffer for what you've done to her. And this time there won't be anything left for Malachite to patch up. Although maybe since Malachite went after my daughter I should be fair and go after his sons." said Mechakara.

Mechakara groaned as the shadows held him while Facilier kept beating him. He then was shocked as Facilier said something about cooling off and then froze a wall. Mechakara had a flicker of fear before it was replaced by anger.

"Then why don't you freeze yourself if it's that refreshing." said mechakara.

He frowned as Facilier pointed the cane and he could feel the icy breeze coming from the cane and knew Facilier could freeze him if he wanted to at any moment. The shadows were holding him back. He struggled against the shadows trying to break free.

[Dr. Facilier]

"You know something, metal-mouth. I realize all we're doing is just talking smack. I just need to teach you a lesson in humility. Hopefully after tonight, you'll shiver and have nightmares when you think about me" Facilier's tone was calm, collected and strangely pleasant. He was getting clearly agitated with the stubborn robotic male. It was time to teach this punk a lesson.

Then Mechakara threatened the boys. Pete and Olive. His amusement now turned into rage. He aimed his spear right at Mechakara's neck and the shadows growled with intended demand, as if they too were insulted and upset by mechakara's threat. "You go near those boys and I'll finish what Malachite started with that little bitch. She'll be screaming for mercy and when she's dead I'll go after that mutt you love so much next. And just for shits and giggles, I'll go after your girl. So don't you dare even try to go near those two boys, because they'll be a lot of hell to pay for it!"

"Nah, it's time for YOU to chill out" Facilier snapped as he blasted right at Mechakara's feet. He laughed as Mechakara struggled "Not so tough now are you? Looks like we have a little bit of a traumatic experience. Maybe we'll go for your arms next? What do you think, boys?" The shadows cackled and released mechakara, since he wasn't going anywhere any time soon.

(OCC: Feel free to fight back. Facilier won't freeze but definitely abuse this opportunity)

[Mechakara]

Mechakara glared at him.

"The one who's going to learn a lesson is you." said Mechakara.

He chuckled at Facillier's threats.

"Touched a nerve did I? You're getting too soft. Or maybe I should just take out Malachite. Avenge what he did to me and Dark Heart. Rip out his heart and let you and the boys know dear old dad isn't coming home." said Mechakara.

He gasped as Facilier froze his feet as Mechakara struggled against the shadows trying to break free as he could feel his the circuits and everything in his feet shutting down. Then the shadows released him as Mechakara fired at the ice freeing his feet but he fell over at the same time. He groaned rolling away and fired back at Facilier and was grateful his feet reactivated after a couple minutes so he could stand.

"Yes. I think I will kill all three of them starting with Malachite. The three fools who put their trust in the wrong person. I'm going to look forward to seeing his face when I stab him in the chest with the very gem he spent years searching for. And this time he will stay gone. No more second chances." said Mechakara.

Dr. Facilier

"Oh don't be so sure, metal-mouth. Those words might be your last" Facilier snapped as Mechakara kept arguing back with him. He then sneered as Mechakara didn't seem too threatened with his claims to harm his family. He snapped, completely enraged with Mechakara's further prodding "I may cheat, but I NEVER lie. You kill malachite, I kill that bitch daughter of yours. You kill the boys, I kill your mutt. I don't take threats against my family lightly. Especially from some rusty, stupid robot like yourself!" He shouted at mechakara, snapping angrily at him. He chuckled as Mechakara reacted to the freezing of his feet.

He then cursed himself as Mechakara got freed and continued to threaten. Facilier snapped "You ain't gonna do jack shit to them! Not if I'm still breathing! You're gonna die tonight, then once you're gone, your family's next. Starting with your daughter!" He kept blasting ice attacks at him, while his shadows tried to surround the robot.

[Mechakara]

Mechakara chuckled.

"All talk and no action. Perhaps I should be going after Malachite. Clearly he'd be more worth my time." said Mechakara.

Mechakara glared at him.

"It's not a threat. I'll make sure to wipe out your family and leave you alive to suffer the loss knowing you failed. Starting with the two brats and then Malachite. I'll make sure to record their final moments for you.." said Mechakara.

Mechakara laughed.

"No way are you going to kill my daughters. Only one family will die and that will be yours." said Mechakara.

He laughed and lunged at Facilier firing energy blasts at him.

Dr. Facilier

"Oh I'm boring you? Apologies, let me fix that!" Facilier snapped his fingers and instantly five shadows came out, including his own. His own shadow smirked with delight while the other five snarled and looked pretty upset. Facilier ordered them "All of you corner this son of a bitch! Rip his limbs apart!" Instantly the shadows came to surround the robot. Only one managed to sheild it's master from the energy blasts and was destroyed in the process. The rest, lead by Facilier's own shadow, grouped up, trying to get a clear target on mechakara. Two of them attempted to grab him from behind while the other three tried to distract him by getting closer.

As the shadows kept creeping, Facilier snarled "You really think I'm going to even let you near them? You won't go near those boys and you won't go near malachite. You should watch your pathetic excuse of a mouth, those promises ain't gonna happen. You're the one who's going to suffer" He was making clear sure Mechakara messed with the wrong person. He then snarled "I just realized. I probably don't need to go for both. DarkHeart is gonna die most likely from all those wounds Malachite rightfully gave her. She's gonna die and you're gonna join her. I only have to go for your other daughter and that dumb, stupid dog of yours"

[Mechakara]

Mechakara frowned as a shadow blocked his blast while two tried to grab him. He dodged them and fired back at Facilier trying to him or at least eliminate the number of shadows. He laughed at Facilier's words.

"I see I touched a nerve. I think I'll leave I'll finish off the kids first but let Malachite alive to die in your arms so you will know true pain. And he will die blaming himself for failing to save those brats. And you will be all alone again. Not even your shadows or your "friends" will be able to help you after that." said Mechakara, taunting him.

Mechakara glared at him.

"She will recover. She is strong. And you will not touch Patch either. I will make sure of that." said Mechakara.

He then laughed at him.

"You're just another weak human. The only thing keeping you alive now is your magic tricks. But I've seen better magic from street magicians. What are you going to do next? Pull a rabbit out of a hat? I'm so scared." mocked Mechakara.

He kept energy blasts at Facilier and the shadows.

Facilier snarled in anger as Mechakara's blasts once again hit one of the shadows. Now there was only three. Still they were resilient and Facilier was no quitter either. He whistled and instantly like rats three more shadows arose and tried to get a clear target on the robot man still. Facilier silently listened in rage as Mechakara threatened, no 'promised' to destroy his family and leave him all isolated. Facilier just snapped his fingers and replied "Friends, get this moronic piece of scrapmetal damnit, I want him ripped apart!"

"Once I destroy you, I'll make sure everyone in your family gets worse suffering than you ever will. So don't you dare think you'll be around to even try to stop me" Facilier angrily replied. He then got a bit heated as Mechakara called him a weak human. Suddenly, instead of rage, came a brilliant plan. Or more or less a devious, nasty plan. Facilier started to smile as if he just gotten a epiphany. He then began to laugh, laughing harder as time went on. He then replied "You know what mechy, you just gave me a great idea. You're right. I have tricks up my sleeves. And I remember you tellin' me you're susceptible to magic. So why not use my best weapon?"

He snapped his fingers to the friends and replied "Boys. Don't rip him apart. Just grab him long enough to stay still. I got something worse than killing him" He then laughed "I'll turn you into the very thing you hate!" He then pointed to mechakara and cried out "Boys, grab him now!" Then all the shadows just grouped up on Mechakara's arms and legs to keep him still. As he did, Facilier's cane glowed a strange color of blue and green, facilier chanted some strange voodoo language as he came closer to the robot.

[Mechakara]

Mechakara laughed.

"You need shadows and parlor tricks to defeat me? Just shows how pathetic you really are." said Mechakara.

He paused as Facilier said he gave him an idea and Mechakara wasn't sure he liked that idea. He dodged the shadows blasting one but as he did the other two grabbed him. Mechakara struggled as Facilier came closer and closer to him.

"Let go of me!" said Mechakara.

He saw Facilier's cane glow as Facilier start chanting some kind of spell.

"Do your worst. Oh wait I guess that's your best too." mocked Mechakara.
