Where is this character from? Beastmaster
Why did you pick him/her?: He's one of my favorite characters and thought it'd be fun for him to have to work for evil.
Picture:
Personality: compassionate, friendly, protective of his friends, protector of animals and the weak. He is a strong and noble warrior who will fight injustice wherever he goes.
History:
Dar is one of the last of the Sula tribe. His tribe was wiped out by the Terons and he was forced to flee into hiding. He grew up as a hermit and eventually sought out the demon Cururpira to become the Beastmaster like his father. He passed her tests and became the Beastmaster and since then he protected the animals. He tracked down the Terons who had his girlfriend Kyra and the tiger Ruh. He freed Ruh and another human Tao but was unable to get Kyra. He escaped with Tao and Ruh making him and enemy of the Terons. Tao chose to stay by his side and help him. He wasn't a warrior but a thinker. He did know a lot about herbs and knowledge in general. He was a good asset to Dar's team.
After many adventures they finally rescued Kyra from the Teron camp. Tao headed for home thinking Dar and Kyra were safe and he wanted to reunite with his loved ones. But Dar and Kyra weren't meant to be. Kyra died protecting Dar from one of Zad's generals. Zad later killed the general using a poisonous cobra. Dar was devastated at the loss and decided to leave with his animal friends to catch up with Tao. But on the way he was pulled into another world. He found himself in a modern world where he was captured by Lord Vyce. He had nearly beaten Vyce but he was no match for Vyce's technology and was defeated. He was brought to Ask That Guy's army and enslaved to be Vyce's servant. Vyce felt his fighting skills would be useful tot he army and he learned from the sorcerers in the army that Dar could speak to animals. Dar had no choice but to obey his new master and serve in Ask That Guy's Army in the war.
Allies: Tao; Ruh; Kyra (girlfriend); The Sorceress # 1(sometimes); Ancient One (sometimes); Ask That Guy's Army.
Enemies: King Zad; Terons; Critic's Army; Facilier's Army.
Plans: be a servant to Lord Vyce and be the caretaker for the animal members of the army.
