Lovely Deduction

[Olina Pelekai]

Olina was in awe as Olina questioned her and then said she was kind and beautiful. Olina was blushing and yet was feeling bad Shirley was crying.

"Please don't cry. You're going to make me cry." said Olina.

She leaned forward and wiped the tears from Shirley's face with her own fingers.

"So we could have been together sooner if we'd just spoken up? Now I feel stupid." said Olina.

She paused and then smiled at her.

"Can I kiss you?"asked Olina.

She then blushed again awaiting Shirley's answer.

Shirley stopped herself from crying anymore the minute Olina wiped her tears with her fingers. All that nervous waiting for nothing. All they had to do was freaking talk. Her brother was going to give her the total I told you so type of talk once she told him. Shirley was quite the detective but she had her idiotic moments. She assured Olina though "I was the one who was stupid. I was afraid of rejection and you disliking me, and assuming that it was better to be quiet. It's my fault"

Shirley then widened her eyes as Olina asked to kiss her. Shirley got closer and nodded, softly murmuring "Yes. Please. Kiss me"

Olina shook her head.

"No. You're not anymore stupid than I am. We acted foolishly but we can make it up to each other now." said Olina.

She smiled as Shirley said to kiss her. Olina walked up to her nervously and leaned forward to kiss her and it was better than she'd ever imagined. She was acting on instinct now as she pulled Shirley into an embrace wrapping her arms around the girl while continuing the kiss and soon lost herself in the moment. She eventually stepped back to breathe and blushed slightly.

"That was better than I ever imagined." said Olina.

She then blushed further as he cheeks were turning redder as she realized she'd said that out loud.

"Yes, we can" Shirley said with relief. It felt good to get her emotions out. Man her brother was going to have a field day with this later. Suddenly her thoughts were shut off as she was pulled in for a kiss by Olina. Shirley embraced the feeling, kissing back with passion and love. Shirley after a while pulled back and breathed, blushing redder than a beet. She giggled as Olina replied that it was better than she thought. "You've been thinking about this for a while it seems" Shirley then replied "So have I" And kissed her once again

Olina smiled.

"I'm glad this happened." said olina.

She enjoyed kissing Shirley and blushed again as Shirley spoke again.

"Maybe a little." said Olina.

Then Shirley kissed her again and Olina felt like she was in heaven and held her close as she kissed her again. She pulled back to breathe and grinned.

"Definitely better than the first." said Olina.

She then sighed remembering her sister had pointed this out to her earlier.

"My sister's never going to let me live this down. She said I should talk to you but I didn't think you'd like me. Now I'm going to have live with "I told you so" for awhile." said Olina.

"I am too" Shirley was happy. It was a relief to not have to hide anymore. It went well for once. She then giggled as Olina admitted she waited for this for a while. She then took in the feelings of the second kiss and blushed as Olina said it was better. Shirley then chuckled at the response about her sister "Well we might also have to deal with my brother too" She then groaned "He will never shut up about this"

Olina sighed.

"So our families are going to be a pain for awhile. Say why don't we see how long we can pretend to still be friends? To mess with them. No one would notice anything different. They'd just think we're being oblivious. This way we don't have to worry about pressure or our friends and families bothering us. Or trying to chaperone us on dates or whatever. This is new and we should see where this goes." said Olina.

She smiled at her girlfriend and her grin grew realizing she was referring to Shirley as her girlfriend.

"Maybe we should get going soon. I don't know when it's going to get dark but I'd like to ride a bit more before we have to go back." said Olina.

Shirley listened to her idea and nodded with a slight laugh "I suppose we can. Only for a small while because my parents can sniff out secrets like bloodhounds" She laughed "It would be funny to see how annoyed they would get. And we would get some privacy before family barging in" She laughed again, feeling more comfortable and free then she had in a while.

"Yes we should ride a bit more before going back. Let's get started" She got up but then she pulled Olina in for another kiss. This one lasted a little longer and was passionate. After pulling back, Shirley blushed "I'm, um, I'm sorry. Couldn't resist"

Olina grinned.

"Well I'm sure they'll find out eventually but that'd be half the fun dodging their questions and making them wonder what's going on." said Olina.

Olina chuckled.

"We wouldn't get much privacy whether people knew we were dating or not. At least not at the house." said Olina.

Olina nodded glad to go riding a bit more. She was surprised as Shirley pulled her into another kiss and she returned it. When Shirley pulled back Olina was grinning again.

"You don't have to apologize for that. I wanted to do it too." said Olina.

She grinned climbing onto her bike and riding down on the trail some more.

"It would be fun. Plus we would feel like we have the upper hand to their game" Shirley replied with a soft laugh. She then laughed a little more as she agreed with Olina that it'd be likely they wouldn't get privacy anyway. She then beamed with delight as Olina didn't mind the second kiss "Oh good. I'm so glad we finally know each others feelings. We should've done this sooner" With that note, she kept riding alongside Olina for a small while.

Olina chuckled.

"We could always throw a few red herrings to. Say we met someone and have them think we're dating other people." said "Olina.

Olina grinned.

"I'm glad this came out too. While I wish it happened sooner I'm glad it happened now. I wouldn't want us to go on pining for each other and not admitting it. We're almost as bad as Douglas and Johnathan. And those two knuckleheads finally got together." said Olina.

She laughed again and rode along side her down the trail.

"Watson would have a fit if we did that. Let's do it" Shirley giggled excitedly. She always tended to like defeating her brother when it came to puzzles and clues. So she could be smarter or at least have the upper hand intelligence-wise. Shirley nodded softly about their admissions finally coming out as they rode. She laughed slightly about Douglas and Johnathan "Yes. I suppose we're not as bad as them but maybe we were. Who knows?" After a short while of riding their bikes, Shirley saw that they needed to go back. Reluctantly, she replied "Well I suppose we should head back now. It's starting to get later in the day"

Olina chuckled.

"That makes it sound even more fun." said Olina

She shrugged.

"Well they were a bit more obvious I think. I'm glad they finally got together though." said Olina.

She had become lost in talking with Shirley and bike riding before Shirley reminded her they needed to go back

"Wow it's getting late. I guess we should head back. But I had a lot of fun." said Olina.

She turned her bike around heading back they way they came alongside her girlfriend. She grinned at the thought. Shirley was her girlfriend.

"My brother's frustration never fails to amuse me" Shirley chuckled, enjoying the idea of pranking her brother and friends. She then nodded "It was about time I thought. They seem very happy together" She then smiled at the thought of olina and her being together. She then kept riding them nodded as Olina confirmed it was late and to go back. She beamed as she rode back with Olina and replied happily "I'm so glad we told each other the truth"

"I really don 't want my sister to say I told you so. She kept saying you liked me but I didn't believe her. Well I guess I didn't want to believe her." said Olina.

Olina nodded as they soon about halfway back down the trail.

"I am too. This was fun especially the kissing." said Olina.
