Alone At Last (Tony)

(ooc: March 12th. Bruce/Tony thread. Morning. Thought it'd be fun if Tony asked Bruce out on a vacation for a couple days to Hawaii so they could hang out a bit. They'd be back by the 14th in time for Transformation central. plus you get to play human tony some more. xd)

Bruce sighed as he made his way to the lab. But he was taken by surprise to find it locked. He slid a card and a voice spoke up "Access denied. Lab is closed today." Bruce paused wondering what was going on. He hadn't been told of a lab schedule. He decided to head to his room to set his stuff down. As he walked in he was surprised to see a open suitcase lying on his bed. He paused walking to it as the door suddenly closed. He paused looking up surprised to see Tony.

"Well, this is a surprise. I was just coming to see you. Do you know why the lab's closed?" asked Bruce.

(OCC: XD Sounds good to me. I think this is a fun way to get bruce back XD)

Tony smirked as he waited for bruce to come from the lab to his room. He'd been planning this for a while but he couldn't help but get excited to see bruce's surprise. When he put the open suitcase on the bed, he heard footsteps and snuck behind the door and surprise bruce, he chuckled as he heard bruce's question. "Because you, my darling, are taking a break from that place" Tony responded cheerfully, very glad that he caught Bruce by his own once more. It had been a while since the two had a break and been by themselves together, mostly because of all the chaos and war crisis around the house. But now, tony thought, this was their chance. He walked over to the other man, wrapped his arms in a tight embrace and kissed bruce right on the lips.

"So since you need that said break, I booked us a first class flight to go to hawaii for a couple of days. Of course we'l be back and yes Critic knows, I took care of that last night" Tony said as a matter-of-factly, wanting bruce to not worry about their temporary leader's reaction. He then chuckled, teasing "What do you think, Dr. Banner? Did I surprise you even more than I already did?"

Bruce chuckled.

"I should have know you were behind this." said Bruce.

Then Tony walked up to him and gave him a hug and a kiss as Bruce returned it. He grinned as Tony pulled back and spoke again.

"A vacation. That sounds great. Although maybe we should have a private wing. If the Hulk comes out I don't want him to hurt anyone. And well that'd also give us away as well." said Bruce.

He grinned at Tony's words.

"I'd love to go. You definitely surprised me. Of course, you surprise me so much I expect it. And yet each surprise is so unique I almost forget I knew it was coming." said Bruce.

He paused at his words registering the flight.

"Tony maybe you should cancel the flight. We should just teleport there instead. I don't think I should be in an enclosed space like that. I've gotten better at controlling my anger but I don't want to put anyone in danger. Unlike the Hellcarrier there's not a team of agents who are trained to fight me if something goes wrong." said Bruce.

"Yeah. You kinda should've. I mean I'm a mastermind" Tony teased, chuckling teasingly as Bruce responded back to him. When it came to him and bruce, a part of Tony's playful and fun side always was out in the open. It was rather affectionate though. Showing some sort of love that not many expressed. But then again, Tony was not like many people. He was Tony Stark. And he expressed his love in this way. By spoiling them or fooling around... Or passionate kisses.

"Already thought of that. It's a private place near the beach. Just the two of us. Nobody will bother us and the other guy, should he come over, will have iron man to worry about. People will be safe, bruce" Tony assured as Bruce brought up that this may have to be private. He then grinned as he seemed to indeed surprise Bruce, and in a good way too, he chuckled again as Bruce said tony had a tendency to surprise and the fact he did it in unique ways caused him to always be "That's why I do it constantly. To see your shock. It's priceless. And adorable" He kissed Bruce on the lips again fondly before hearing Bruce's comment about the flight.

"Right didn't think that one out. Yeah, I'll just call them" He did as he promised, called the plane and canceled the flight. He hung up and smirked in teasing again "Shame, we were gonna have a nice first class flight. With a hottub and everything" He then assuringly responded "Just joking. Well not about the flight but it's not a shame. It's fine. We can use the transport" He then packed his bag and responded "Well pack up, banner and let's get ready to enjoy ourselves"

Bruce chuckled.

"I don't know about mastermind. But you do love to surprise me. Sometimes I think you just think up this stuff up just to see how I'll react." said Bruce.

Bruce paused as Tony said it was a private place so they wouldn't be disturbed.

"So these next two days we'll be alone? I'll have you all to myself then. Good. We never seem to have much time alone together anymore. We should have done this sooner." said Bruce.

He chuckled as Tony said he did it a lot to see his shock. He returned the kiss with a grin. He pulled back as Tony canceled the flight as Bruce looked sad.

"If you were dating a normal boyfriend this wouldn't be a problem. Now I messed up some of your plans. I'm sorry." said Bruce.

He paused as Tony said he was joking but Bruce still felt bad. He'd try to make it up to him. Tony had planned this whole thing. He didn't want to ruin anything else. He paused as Tony packed his bag and Bruce smirked.

"I thought you already packed my stuff." teased Bruce.

He paused heading to his bag to make sure everything was ready. Tony had thought of everything. He saw it was only clothes, toiletries, and things. He saw a few books. He realized Tony hadn't packed any tools or gadgets. Tony must have not wanting him to focus on anything science related. It was a vacation after all and it was only two days. He could do without working on some things for awhile. He turned to Tony and smiled.

"So you ready to go?" asked Bruce.

"And you'd be right. Sometimes I do surprise just for shits and giggles, that and I just love your reactions as I said before" Tony said, beaming brightly and mischievously. He couldn't help it. Tony, frankly, was one to do things the way he liked it. Not always obviously but his actions normally were because they were the ones he wanted to show or do. The man enjoyed how bruce was in general, how calm he was and always had quips to respond with.

"I know. That's why I planned this whole thing. Just the two of us alone, relaxing and no problems. We definitely should have done it before but we're doing it now so it's all good" Tony replied, smiling still. His smile however turned into a surprised frown when Bruce apoligized. Tony forgot that Bruce was a tad more sensitive with his condition and therefore, would blame himself for ruined plans or changed aspects when it related to him. Tony softly smiled and hugged bruce, kissing him again "Hey, don't be sorry. Changing plans to make you happy is worth it. I didn't do this just to get away, I did this because I love you and wanna make you happy. I don't want anyone else but you"

"I did. It's a expression I tend to use" Tony quipped right back as Bruce teased him again, Tony's smile much more amused than the other ones. He then saw Bruce check his bag for anything and Tony smiled, he adored that bruce was so prepared and wanting to be prepared. It made bruce so smart, and therefore more attractive. He didn't bother to say anything but once the two were packed, Tony nodded "Yep. Off to get some sun. Finally!" He then grabbed a transporter and the two men went off to said private location to Hawaii

Bruce chuckled at Tony's enthusiasm.

"I don't mind surprises. Just no pranks at least for this trip. They may amuse you but I'd rather both us have fun on this trip. Not just you." said Bruce.

Bruce grinned as Tony said that's why he planned it so they could be alone.

"I'm glad. Although if you spoil me too much I may not want to come back." teased Bruce.

He paused as Tony kissed him again. Bruce relaxed at little as Tony said changing plans to make him happy was worth it.

"But I want you to be happy too. I still feel bad you had to change them. I don't want anyone else but you either." said Bruce.

Bruce chuckled as Tony teased him again and they were both now packed. Off to Hawai, they went as they were teleported away.

- Time Skip -

They'd left their suitcases on the floor intending to unpack later. Right now they just wanted to have fun. Bruce walked out of the bathroom dressed only in a pair of blue swimming trunks. He grabbed a towel as he walked back into their bedroom.

"You better get changed fast. Or I'll hit the beach without you." teased Bruce.

[Tony Stark/Iron Man]

"Scout's honor, even though I'm no scout. No pranks. I wouldn't stoop so low" Tony said with humor but he did have sincerity in his voice. He grinned as Bruce said that if he spoiled him he probably won't want to come back "And is that such a bad thing?" He teased, grinning still, like he won the lottery. He then frowned just a tad when Bruce said he wanted Tony to be just as happy "I am happy. With you. Don't feel bad really. I don't have a problem with changing things to help you out" Then after that, off to hawaii they went, and tony was pretty glad. Vacation at last

*Time skip*

Tony was about to wait to go to the bathroom to change when bruce showed up and teased him about being on the beach without him. Tony grinned, sticking out his tongue in jest before grabbing his bathing suit "Oh I'll be quick alright. You better not leave mister, I don't want anybody trying to steal your gorgeous rear while my back is turned" He then went to the bathroom and changed into red swimming trunks. He didn't take to long and he then smiled as he revealed his top half, with the reactor very evident in place.

Bruce grinned as Tony spoke blushing at Tony's words as well. Tony knew just how to flatter and fluster him all at once. He had such a way with words. He grinned as Tony joined him as he saw the reactor. He paused with concern.

"Is there a way to hide that with holograms or something? I mean if someone sees that they're bound to ask questions. Not to mention we might get mistaken for the actors who played us in our movies." said Bruce.

He had to admit if this Robert Downey Jr. person looked even half as good as Tony they had chosen the right guy. Although Sherlock was quite attractive as well but he wasn't Tony. He'd remembered running into Sherlock once and nearly kissing him before he realized he wasn't Tony. That had been quite embarrassing. Thankfully Mike hadn't seen that and Sherlock had seemed amused by the situation. Bruce focused back on Tony finding himself staring at his bare chest before blushing as he looked up at Tony.

"Maybe we should wear sunglasses or something. I'd rather not get mobbed by fans." joked Bruce.

(OCC: Because why not. I mean the scientists work on tons of stuff. This was the best I could come up with lol)

Tony at first was disappointed but then saw Bruce's point. He looked in his case to see if there was anything to hide his reactor. He then was relieved to see something resembling a button but it had stickable edges to it. He turned to Bruce and responded "There thankfully is. Donny said he was planning on something to let things be hidden or invisible. This is his test prototype. I brought it with me" He then successfully clicked the small object in the middle of his reactor, before pressing the little red button. Instantly it seemed to work, making the reactor look like real human flesh. Tony was relieved but also somewhat annoyed that he had to have the reactor in the first damn place. Damn past and all it's issues.

"Hey why bother? We're as sexy as those actors are. It's a compliment" Tony teased as Bruce mentioned the actors. But he giggled and responded "Alright. Let me find a couple stuff here" He found eventually nice sunglasses and sunhats to cover their hair and eyes. He gave a pair and a hat to bruce then put some on himself. He twirled a bit to please bruce, seeing the shyer scientist stare. "Hey don't be shy. I know I look good"

He eventually came over, took his face gently and kissed his lips once more. Damn did he enjoy kissing the other man. So much. He let go to breathe and responded "Time for some fun!"

Bruce watched relieved as Tony hid the reactor with one of his inventions. It made him realize only a few people actually saw Tony's reactor in the first place and he was one of those few.

"Good. I'm glad that's settled." said Bruce.

He chuckled at that.

"I suppose it is. I just don't want any more doubles of you showing up. After I almost-"

He paused realizing what he was about to say and blushed. Tony wouldn't let this go. Even if he didn't talk about it now he would ask him about it until he told him.

"Awhile back I ran into Sherlock and thought he was you. I almost kissed him before I realized he wasn't you. The guy seemed rather amused by it. Just don't be mad. He's not as gorgeous as you are. There could be a million doubles of you in this war but you're the only one I want." said Bruce.

He blushed slightly as he said that. He watched as Tony got sunglasses and hats so they could cover themselves. He blushed again as Tony said to not be shy.

"Sorry I can't help it. But you do look good." said Bruce.

He returned the kiss as Tony kissed him. He grinned and nodded. He got his sunscreen and towel before turning to Tony and grinned.

"Last one into the water's a rotten egg." said Bruce.

He laughed and took off running before Tony could react. He dropped his stuff on the beach and dove into the water. He wasn't really sure who had won but it didn't matter. It was nice to cool off in the ocean.

Tony nodded, satisfied with Bruce's approval of the situation with his arc reactor. However he pondered with amusement as Bruce admitted to accidentally kissing Sherlock. Tony knew Bruce wouldn't dare be unfaithful so he believed in him instantly. He then laughed softly "Mad? Over a accident? It was bound to happen, me and that detective look very similar. It's ok" He then kissed Bruce again to calm him down. He then responded again "You're the only one I want too. Ever. No one could ever replace you, not even a double"

"Of course I do" Tony winked, teasing. He then saw Bruce immediately race to the ocean. Finally, time for some fun. "Hey, that's cheating!" Tony mockingly complained before chasing the other. He couldn't help but laugh and jump into the water. Although bruce won, Tony didn't care about that either. "Where are you, banner?" He searched the water

Bruce grinned at Tony.

"I'm glad. I guess it's a good thing we're here alone. I am a bit jealous and I literally will turn into a green monster so perhaps it's best we don't be around too many people. I can't stop you from flirting as I know that's how you are. I just don't like to see it." said Bruce.

Bruce returned Tony's kiss as he grinned as Tony said he was the only one he wanted and no one could replace him.

"I always like to hear that." said Bruce.

He then chuckled as Tony agreed he looked good. He grinned at Tony said he was cheating as they raced to the ocean. Bruce grinned as he swam underwater. He saw Tony couldn't see him so he pulled Tony under grinning giving him a kiss before pulling him to the surface.

"An underwater kiss is something I wanted to try for a while. I didn't hurt you did I?" said Bruce.

"Ah, bruce, don't worry about that anymore. I can control myself. Besides, I deliberately made sure we could be alone" Tony winked, trying his best to be playful and it seemed to be working. Bruce was loosening up. Sure he was fine at the house but the two knew that wars just weren't something to relax about. This vacation was though.

"In that case I'll tell you that as many times as you want me to" Tony flirted more. He then grinned, glad Bruce was evidentially more happier as their talk went on. Tony knew the most important part of their relationship was that they needed to trust each other(Which they did) and try to be happy(Which they were). He then continued searching and didn't seem to be successful, he didn't see bruce yet.

Until Bruce suddenly grabbed and pulled him under. Knowing he was going underwater, Tony held his breath and allowed Bruce to take him down. Suddenly he felt himself being kissed and Tony easily allowed himself to relax and kiss underwater with Bruce. He eventually was helped up and the two were soaking wet and Bruce asked if he was okay. "More than okay. That was amazing. I wanna do that again" He then gently took Bruce, giving him some time to take a breath and took him underwater. Tony kissed Bruce again

Bruce grinned at him.

"Yes you can control yourself. But that's not stopped you before." said Bruce.

He nodded as Tony said they'd be alone.

"We'd better. Next time I might have to kidnap you so we can be alone. Even if it's just spending a weekend at a hotel." said Bruce.

Bruce chuckled as Tony spoke.

"Then we might be here awhile." said Bruce.

Bruce grinned as Tony returned the kiss. When the surface Tony said it was amazing and pulled him back under. Bruce returned the kiss eagerly glad to have some fun with Tony.
