Two Worlds (Thor)

[Thor]

Thor smiled at him and nodded glad the matter was agreed upon. She knew if she wanted to go she always could. But he was glad she didn't want to go. He let the matter drop as neither seemed to want to talk about it anymore. He paused as she spoke again saying what Loki's feeling wasn't his fault.

"Yes it is. He's my brother. I'm supposed to look after him. Make sure he's happy and feels loved. And I failed. He hid it from us for so long. I wish I'd figured it out sooner. Maybe all this mess would have been avoided." said Thor.

He smiled glad Jane agreed to let him know if there was a problem and that he wouldn't hurt her intentionally. But he was worried about hurting her unintentionally. If he could hurt Loki this badly he could hurt others.

"You're right. I would never hurt you intentionally. But I hurt Loki without realizing it. I wouldn't want to do that to anyone else especially you." said Thor.

He grinned as she seemed shocked he'd give up his godhood for her.

"Yes. I would. I'd even find a way to turn you into a goddess if you wanted to come back with me to Midgard so you could stay with me forever if that's what you wanted." said Thor.

He smiled glad she would leave Earth if he wanted to.

"Well we can stay on Earth. Probably I should keep my powers so I can help out the Avengers protect the planet. I turned down my father's offer to take the throne. I assume some other relative will take over once my father steps down. Or he'll pick someone to take his place." said Thor.

Thor grinned glad she knew hew as sorry and that he had changed.

"I'm glad there's no hard feelings between us then. I know I need to work on my anger but I'm not as bad as I used to be." said Thor.

Thor chuckled as she said she was still annoyed with Darcy.

"She meant well I guess. I suppose I sounded like a crazy person but I didn't actually threaten any of you. You could have just let me walk away. You hit me with a car and then she tazed me. I'm lucky that's all that happened." said Thor.

He chuckled showing he was a kidding. He nodded when she spoke again.

"Perhaps you're right. I guess I just lost my immortality. I must have kept some of my strength somehow. Perhaps my father thought I might be in danger so he let me keep some of my abilities." said Thor.

Thor paused listening to her.

"That doesn't sound like a good idea. A drug like that sounds like it could do you harm. I hope no one in the army takes them." said Thor.

[Jane Foster]

"Maybe it could've been avoided but we're responsible for our own actions. What loki did is his responsibility, you may have not been around but he needs to understand that you didn't do anything to cause him to be so bitter against you. You can't blame yourself forever Thor. I for one don't think it's your fault" Jane responded persistantly. She felt bad that thor was blaming himself so much about loki's issues against him. Jane didn't really see it the way thor saw it. She was in a way blinded to how loki's emotions were.

"You won't. I know you won't. I trust you enough to believe that you wouldn't hurt me. I'll be ok, thor" Jane responded again, trying to assure the thunder god. She knew that being aware of his strength was going to be rough or difficult but she had a good feeling he'd do his best to be careful. He was clumsy sometimes but he wasn't stupid.

"That'd be great to be a goddess thor. And being around with you forever sounds even better. I'm so touched that you'd do that for me" Jane said while blushing. She felt humbled of how much thor cared about her. He cared about her so much to do all of this for her.

"Yeah maybe someone else will take the throne. Probably a good friend of your dad's will be the best choice. If you really wanna stay here, thor, that'd be great and the avengers I'm sure will need you a lot" Jane softly responded. As touched as she was that thor was here for her, she was glad that he was selfless enough to want to help other people.

"No you're not. You're doing pretty good from what I see" Jane responded as the topic was turned into reflecting on Thor's anger management. She saw no problems yet but she knew to keep an eye out for those.

"I know I feel really bad for hitting...." Jane replied but at thor's smile she could tell he was only kidding. As a result, she smiled back and responded "Well yeah. That IS all that happened. Which is good. Darcy DID mean well but she's impulsive"

"Yeah that could explain how you wrestled so well with those agents back at new mexico. Your dad must've just let you keep some abilities but not all" Jane shrugged in agreement when it came to thor's strength and abilities when they first met.

"It does do you harm, it harms the heart and things which is why I wonder why they still use them" Jane said with annoyance evident in her tone "I'm sure as hell hope they don't. It could be really unhealthy" Jane shrugged and ate more of her cinnamon bun "Glad you don't take them either. It might not hurt you as much but you never know what it could do to a god"

[Thor]

Thor sighed as he listened to Jane.

"Maybe we should stop talking about this. I know you're trying to help but it won't change anything. I'm partially to blame. My brother was hurting and I failed to see it. He became twisted and evil. No wonder he tried to kill me in New Mexico. I failed him as a brother and as a friend." said Thor.

He sighed deciding to drop the subject not wanting to dwell on it for now. He smiled as she assured him he wouldn't hurt her.

"I want to believe that. I never want to hurt you or anyone else like that. I have to be more careful. More considerate." said Thor.

Thor smiled at her words.

"I'd do anything to stay with you Jane. Being separated all that time trapped in Asgard was torture. Then I was able to return but you were hiding for your safety and I was unable to talk to you. So I was forced to leave with Loki and the Tesearct back to Asgard. I'm glad we're together now and I don't want to ever be separated from you for too long every again. I don't think I could handle another long separation." said Thor.

He had a feeling if he and Jane were separated again he'd probably have died of heartbreak. Or at least closed himself off since he was a god. No more hanging out with his friends. No more laughing, or having fun. He'd have ended up focusing on his battles and probably have ended up dead so not something he wanted to happen.

Thor nodded.

"Well my father's not retiring anytime soon. Perhaps he and my mother will have more kids. If not I know we have more relatives and others in line he could choose." said Thor.

Thor smiled.

"I'd like to help out as much as I can. Perhaps I should become a permanent Avenger. I could always visit Asgard but I wouldn't want to leave you or the Avengers. Even Tony and Fury I'd miss. Even though they both annoy me from time to time." said Thor.

Thor smiled at her.

"Well thank you. I wish I could improve more. But it's not like I could go to an anger management course here. I can't exactly say I'm a Norse god and don't want to use my powers and strength to hurt someone. They'd look at me like I was crazy and well if I revealed proof that'd reveal this war. So we can't have that." said Thor.

Thor chuckled.

"I suppose it's my fault for walking out into the road. Although you must have been going pretty fast if you couldn't stop in time." said Thor.

Thor grinned as they chatted about Darcy.

"Yes. But that is one of her good qualities. I just hope Erik can keep her in line by himself. I wouldn't want her to get into any unnecessary danger." said Thor.

Thor nodded.

"I guess we'll never know why my father let me keep some of my strength. I doubt he knew of Loki's treachery but perhaps he feared I might be in danger and would need some of my powers after all." said Thor.

Thor paused listening about steroids and frowned.

"Those are awful. No one should be using something that could hurt you. But let me guess they're legal so I can't attack the people who make them right?" said Thor.

[Jane Foster]

Jane frowned as Thor asked her politely to stop talking about Loki. That despite what she was saying, Thor himself was still to blame. That he failed as a brother and friend. That nothing would change the fact that Loki was angry. Jane looked down and replied, finally giving in "OK. I'm sorry thor. I know you blame yourself but I surely don't. I won't talk about it anymore though. I'm not going to convince you it seems"

"Maybe. But you are being more careful now. Nevertheless, there's always room to learn and improve. I'm more than happy to help you if you want me to" Jane offered. Then Thor said that being away from her was torture, and that now that they were together he didn't want them to be seperated for too long anymore, or he wouldn't handle it. That caused her to smile again "Me neither thor. Having you not in my life is like not having air. It was bad not having you around but now that you're here, we'll change that by spending more time together"

"Not a impossible solution. Good thing your dad's still in charge but I guess having more kids would make better sense. Since you aren't going to do it and loki's not qualified for that sort of thing. As for other relatives, you never know, maybe it could be a close friend or something. I agree with you though" Jane replied when it came to more royalty and responsibility, it was incredibly complicated it seemed. "That's a good idea! That way you can always see home but always come back! And yeah, Tony has that affect on people it seems. You either really like him or are really annoyed. Or both" She said about thor's idea to stay on earth, or midgard if he would

"No we can't. We'll think of something thor.... If we can handle half of the stuff in new mexico, we can handle this" Jane encouraged. She then continued with more different subjects, like darcy "Maybe but I still needed to look behind me, that's the law. As for darcy, Erik can totally handle her, he's handled me far more than her. Darcy's childsplay for him" She then continued as Thor commented on his strength when he was mortal "Maybe. But like you said, we might never know. Only your dad does. Or not. Aw it doesn't matter, it's in the past now" She then nodded with a bitter chuckle as thor mentioned steroids "Yep. Legal. Some of them. Not all. It's highly disapproved of when it comes to social media. Nobody really likes it even though we use it. Which makes even less sense"

[Thor]

Thor nodded glad the subject was being dropped. He knew Jane meant well but it was something he'd been blaming himself about since Loki had betrayed them months ago in his first attempt to take over Asgard. The subject shifted to his anger and she offered to help him. He smiled at that.

"I'd like that. Of course I get to spend more time with you so that makes it even better." said Thor.

Thor smiled as she felt the same way he did.

"Then let's spend as much as time as we can with each other. I know I have training and you have your time in the lab inventing things. But perhaps we could do less of those. It's not like there's not other warriors and scientists here. I know your work's important to you but I just want to spend more time with you. Even if it's just an for an hour." said Thor.

Thor nodded guessing his parents would have more children or it'd pass to some distant relative. The throne of Asgard didn't really appeal to him much anymore. Now that he knew he'd never be king. Besides he'd rather be spending more time with his friends or with Jane. '

"Well I'm sure it'll work itself out. I just wish I could let my parents and everyone know I'm ok. I don't want them to think Loki and I are dead. But I suppose there is no way to contact them." said Thor.

Thor grinned at her words.

"I think I will do that. I'll visit Asgard when I can but I'll stay as an Avenger. That'd give me more time to be with you. Of course I guess I don't have to be an Avenger to do that. But I did like working with the others. We were a pretty good team in the end." said Thor.

He chuckled at her words.

"Yes. Tony does annoy me from time to time but he's a good friend. He has the heart of a true warrior." said Thor.

He smiled at her.

"I feel like I can handle anything as long as I have you. But I do warn you. If you think of going into the battlefield then you train first and you get a strong weapon. I don't want you out there because I don't want to lose you. But I wouldn't force you to stay. Although you probably could be a great warrior if you set your mind to it" said Thor.

Thor chuckled.

"Well if Erik can handle her then I suppose we have nothing to worry about. How was he doing last you heard? Hawkeye was okay after Loki took over him but Erik was under Loki's control longer. I hope Erik isn't hurt or anything like that?" said Thor.

Thor nodded.

"I suppose it's better that way. My strength was inconsistent at times though. I mean I couldn't pick up my hammer but I could survive a taser, getting hit by a car, and fight off a bunch of SHIELD agents. No mortal man would have been able to do all of that alone without some kind of super power." said Thor.

Thor frowned at the mention of steroids.

"Then people are fools. I know some drugs are important. They heal you when you are sick. But the ones like this steroids just sound awful. They should never have been invented in the first place." said Thor.

[Jane Foster]

"It does. It makes this whole thing a lot better to deal with" Jane said, not using the term war, in case anyone was in close range to hear. She didn't want anybody to become suspicious. She was careful like that. She then nodded in agreement as Thor suggested less time with training or working at the lab and more with each other "Sounds like a plan to me. I mean Dr. Tease and Linksano can do a few things while I spend time with you"

"I doubt there's a way to make contact with anyone from our worlds at this point. I mean, I wish I could let Dr. Selvig know where I am but I highly doubt that I can. Best we just hurry up with a solution to get us home I suppose" Jane responded, twiddling her thumbs in slight nervousness. She didn't like the fact she didn't have much to contact her friends or family with, just as much as thor had problems with it.

"Being with the avengers or not being with them doesn't really matter to me, just as long as you come by and check up on me I'll be perfectly fine with what you do" Jane said with a grin. She then agreed about Tony "He is a good man. He's very arrogant from time to time but he's still a good man" She then nodded as thor warned her to always use a strong weapon and train if she ever had a idea of coming out to fight "Right. Noted. Train and find a weapon then come over to help. Got it"

"He's a bit ditzy every once in a while but otherwise he's pretty much the same. He was a bit sick at first when he was freed but he has medicine to fix that" Jane responded about Selvig. It was true. Although selvig was just as undamaged physically, mentally Selvig did have a few bumps on the road, nothing too serious but it wasn't unnoticeable. "You're right. It's better for someone like you to handle all that strength" Jane agreed before nodding softly and trying not to be so amused with Thor's opinion on steroids. She too was annoyed so she frowned at the mention of it but agreed "You're right. They shouldn't but they do. Some humans are kinda stupid. They don't think before they act sometimes"

[Thor]

Thor nodded.

"Yes it does. I envy the people here. They are unaware of what's going on. And unlike when we fought in New York or London of our world we can't just fight in the streets. Thankfully it's quiet for now. But what if that changes? So many would get hurt or worse. Perhaps we need to make a treaty or something. To not expose this war. At least while it's going. If one of the villain armies wins most of us probably won't be alive to stop them from taking over." said Thor.

He didn't want to think like that. But this war had gone on for awhile. And unlike the Frost Giants or Dark Elves they couldn't take them out quickly. There was innocent people around. Ask That Guy's army still had Jasmine as a prisoner. And both armies had people working for them who were brainwashed or lied to. They couldn't just go charging in because they could hurt an innocent by mistake.

"Good. I spent too long being away from you stuck in Asgard. I want to make up for lost time." said Thor.

He frowned at hearing there wasn't a way to contact the others.

"I see. Then I guess we'll have to focus on winning this war and finding a way home quickly." said Thor.

Thor smiled at her.

"The Bifrost was repaired. So I won't be stuck in Asgard. I'll probably be living in Stark Tower with the other Avengers. Tony's offered to let me stay there. Unless I'm needed in Asgard or the nine realms that's where I'll probably be. So maybe you could make your new home base New York? So we could visit more. I understand if you need to travel around to see other things in your research. I know we might not see each other every day but if our homes are in New York it would be best. If you're okay with that?" said Thor.

Thor nodded.

"Yes. And I have to admit when he and Steve both fought with me trying to keep Loki as their prisoner it was quite impressive. I didn't expect humans to be so resourceful or stubborn or skilled. I'm glad I met them now." said Thor

Thor smiled glad she'd stay safe unless necessary.

"Thank you Jane. I know I'm asking a lot. We've had a lot of close calls even before this war started. I don't want to lose you." said Thor.

He smiled glad Erik was safe.

"That's good. I'm sorry my brother caused him and Clint such problems. I should probably ask Tony and the others if they knew if Clint was okay. He was under Loki's control for awhile as well." said Thor.

He chuckled as they spoke again.

"Yes. I suppose I was the right man for the job. Thankfully Mjolnir decided I was worthy again and I regained my powers and immortality in time to stop Loki and the Destroyer. And later help the Avengers stop him and the Chitauri aliens." said Thor.

Thor nodded.

"I guess so. I hope no one in this army is taking anything like that. That would only hurt them in the end." said Thor.

[Jane Foster]

"I have to agree with you. I'm worried about them knowing but at the same time it sucks to not let anyone know" Jane admitted, keeping her voice as low as she could. Not wanting to cause a problem. She then nodded and sighed sadly "All we can do is try to keep it this way longer. The villains around here are vicious. But if push comes to shove, we'll have to make a treaty of some kind" She honestly was clueless. She was a scientist, not a war expert. She's only had a huge battle against Donald and she didn't even survive that well.

"Me too. And we can, right now!" Jane said positively. She then listened to more of thor's topics by responding "Yeah that's all we can do for right now really. And thanks to Dr. Tease, Linksano and a few other scientists like Mr. Stark and Dr. Banner we'll be able to find it somehow" She then smiled as Thor suggested going to New York and live there to see him more "Sounds like a perfect idea. Remind to thank Mr. Stark about giving you that suggestion of living there"

"Me too. You three along with Dr. Banner make quite a team" Jane said, her tone cheerful once more. She continued to be somewhat cheerful as Thor responded he didn't want to lose her "And you won't. I may be a bit impulsive but I'm not a idiot. I promise to you I'll be as careful as I can" She then continued to respond about clint and Selvig "It's ok. I blame Loki, not you. Maybe ask about clint though like you said" She then giggled a bit as thor mentioned he was right for the job "Well obviously. I mean it took a lot of firepower to get rid of all those aliens in manhattan"

"Nope. Linksano and Dr. Tease made sure of it" Jane giggled again about the steroid conversation "It wasn't pretty. Some of the members were confused. It was actually kind of funny"

[Thor]

Thor shrugged at that.

"It's safer for them not to know. These movies have fans Jane. Some could react in fear. Others could worship them and flock here to join the armies. Or start cults or something. And that's not counting your government sending tanks and planes and soldiers here to stop this war. They'd probably capture all of us including the heroes to lock us away or kill us. They might even take Critic and his friends just for knowing about it. I've seen how paranoid American governments can get and that was just mostly SHIELD. I don't want to know how this world's government would act." said Thor.

Thor nodded.

"That's the problem. They're villains. Treaties and truces won't last. They want to take over this planet and destroy or enslave the rest of us." said Thor.

He grinned.

"I'm sure we can and we will. We needed this day to ourselves and away from the war and everything else." said Thor.

He sighed as she said they would find a way back home.

"I hope so. It just feels like it will take forever." said Thor.

Thor grinned.

"I will." said Thor.

He nodded.

"We certainly do. Natasha and Clint were part of that team as well. Together the six of us stopped Loki's plot. I worry about Natasha, Clint, Erik, Darcy, and everyone else back home. They're back there while we're all stuck here. What if there was an incident we can't stop since we're stuck here?" said Thor.

Thor grinned at her.

"I'm glad. You are one of the smartest people I know. If you ever were put into danger I'd get you to safety. Even if you were mad at me later about it." said Thor.

He nodded.

"I'll try. Although I don't know if the others have kept in touch with him." said Thor..

he chuckled.

"It certainly did." said Thor.

He smiled at that.

"Good. We need to win this war but poisoning ourselves with those steroids is not the way to do it." said Thor.

Thor smirked.

"That would have been amusing to see." said Thor.

[Jane Foster]

"You're right. It's too dangerous. I don't want to know about their reaction either. Best we continue what we're doing and keep it a secret. Especially since we come from films that do have fans" Jane replied agreeing with Thor. He had a point. The government would understandably get antsy and they didn't need the paranoid and dangerous ways the government handled things. Especially since it would definitely get them all under hot water whether they were on America's side or not. "Well it was worth thinking about" Jane said, admittedly disappointed her truce idea had no effect.

"Yeah, yeah we did" Jane agreed with thor on being away from it all for the day. She then affectionately rubbed his arm when he said it was difficult waiting this long to get home. She then beamed at Thor when he promised to help remind her about Stark. Jane then pondered as Thor brought up the danger of them not being home. That Clint, Natasha and a few others could be in trouble and they didn't even know it "Well... Maybe more heroes will jump by and maybe Selvig will find out we literally can't be there"

"I would be mad but I'd understand. I'm a scientist not a fighter" Jane replied with a grin. She then nodded and smiled as Thor confirmed some of the things she mentioned. Not long after that the steroid conversation came up and she giggled "It was amusing. Linksano kept demanding more samples and Tease thought we should've had less. It was like watching two chickens cluck. It was funny"

[Thor]

Thor nodded.

"We know how panicked the world goverments were in our world. They sent a nuclear missle into New York to destroy the Chitauri. We were lucky to stop the missle, Loki and the Chitauri. I fear this world may be similar in its attempts. If they bombed Chicago they might take out most of us but some would survive no doubt and take over anyway." said Thor.

Thor sighed.

"I know but it'd be safer for them not to know." said Thor.

Thor grinned at her again.

"If I could I'd spend every day with you but well I do need to train and you are one of our best scientists so I can't be selfish when we're at war. At least not every day." said Thor.

Thor shrugged at that.

"I hope so Lady Jane. I hope there are still many poweful superheroes left as we have been here for awhile now." said Thor.

Thor grinned at her again.

"I'm glad you understand. I don't want you to be mad at me. But I'd rather have you mad than dead." said Thor.

Thor chuckled.

"I suppose it was." said Thor.
