Not Going To Wreck It (Rogue)

[Anna Raven/Rogue]

Rogue grinned at him.

"Thanks. I just don't use my name anymore because it just brings up bad memories. My mother was a mutant and a criminal so she left me and my two half-brothers in separate families on our own. I didn't even know about my half-brothers until I after joined the X-men. I grew up with my father. I loved him. I wanted his approval. But when my powers activated I put my first boyfriend in a coma. When my father found out he called me a freak. And he kicked me out of the house. My own father hated me. He was afraid of me." said Rogue.

She paused as tears began to form. She smiled as he said she was his rogue. Then he said he had something he wanted to tell her and said he loved her.

"I'm glad to hear that. I think I love you too. I'm not really sure because this is the first real relationship I've had." said Rogue.

She grinned as they kissed again and he agreed to them getting something to eat. She smiled as he she went with him back into the house.

"I hope you don't mind if we eat in. I just don't want to be out right now. I'm just not really comfortable being around people. I mean back in my world people at least knew about mutants. I've learned to stick close to the house outside of battles. So I don't accidentally put someone else into a coma." said Rogue.

She tried to think of what to eat.

"Perhaps sandwiches? Unless you want us to cook something? I haven't cooked in a while. There could be leftovers in the fridge." said Rogue.

[Wreck-It-Ralph]

Ralph hugged her gently as she confessed the bad parts of her past. "It's all over now Rogue. What matters is that we're together and safe. I won't let anyone abandon you like your dad did. No parent, from what I know, should do that. What happened happened but I'm so sorry. Just know that your powers mean to me that it's part of you" He gently kissed a temple on her head as he said this.

"It's my first too but I think I really meant what I said. It's ok. This is new for both of us. That doesn't mean anything bad" Ralph said gently as Rogue said this was a relationship she had in a while. He wanted to be a good assuring boyfriend and whatnot. As they were in the house, he went inside the kitchen and heard what Rogue suggested. He didn't want to do things she didn't want to do. So he was fine with sandwhiches

"OK. Eating in it is. Anything you wanna do Rogue" Ralph responded then he heard her say possibly sandwhichs "I can't cook so sandwhichs sound totally fine" He then went to get the food to make sandwhiches.

[Anna Raven/Rogue]

Rogue smiled at his words.

"I believe you. I know you won't leave me. I was starting to think I'd never be this happy. Until I met you." said Rogue.

He kissed her and she smiled.

"You're right. This is new. I don't mind if things are a little awkward at first. I'm just happy to touch someone, to kiss someone. Without hurting them." said Rogue.

She smiled as he agreed they should eat. She nodded as he started making the sandwiches.

"Then I'll get the drinks." said Rogue.

She pulled out a couple sodas from the fridge handing one to Ralph.

"Well, turkey and cheese are fine by me if they have it. Or baloney or ham. Whatever meat they have." said Rogue.

She gave him a kiss on the cheek and grinned.

"I'm not much of a cook either. I've burnt water before. But I can make sandwiches. I can make my own unless you want to do it." said Rogue.

If he wanted to make it she appreciated the gesture. But she didn't want to make him do all the work either if he just wanted to make his own.

[Wreck-It-Ralph]

"Well... I'm glad you found happiness with me. That's what I want from you, to just be happy" Ralph said sincerely, a smile on his features. He then was glad that rogue smiled as he kissed her temple. He was glad that he made her feel content and happy, he was the one to be the one to make her happy and he was perfectly fine with that. He actually wanted that out of their new relationship. "Well I'm glad that you get to touch and kiss someone you like. Especially me. You're a good kisser by the way" He said that to make her feel more confident about this. He was nervous but he wanted to appear confident for rogue herself to feel confident. It may have sounded strange, honestly it sounded like the weirdest thing ever but he didn't mind.

"OK. Turkey and cheese sandwhich for you and turkey with mayonaise for me" Ralph said, accepting Rogue's gift of soda to him. He smiled widely and blushed as Rogue kissed his cheek. He then got the turkey, cheese and mayonaise and bread then started making the sandwhiches. He then heard rogue say she would make her own unless ralph wanted to do it. Ralph said kindly "No really! I'll make them for us! It's no trouble. You just enjoy yourself" He then made rouge's sandwhich first then made his own.

[Anna Raven/Rogue]

Rogue grinned at him.

"I'm just flattered you want me. I just hope I don't disappoint you." said Rogue.

She had tried to be happy without love or touching someone. She'd flirted with others especially Gambit because she knew relationships wouldn't work out with her powers. But now Ralph was immune to her powers. She could be happy with him.

"I am too. I've had a crush on you for a while now but I was afraid to act on it. Now I don't have to be afraid anymore." said Rogue.

She blushed as he said she was a good kisser.

"That's what a gal likes to here. You certainly know how to flatter a girl." said Rogue.

She grinned as he started making the sandwiches. He said he'd make them and she nodded.

"Alright. I'll make them next time then." said Rogue.

She grinned waiting for him to finish as she sipped her soda. She decided she wanted to know more about Ralph.

"What's your home like?" asked Rogue.

[Wreck-It-Ralph]

"You won't. I know you won't" Ralph replied naively, trying to make sure rogue was aware that he really was serious about his caring for her. He knew it was hard for her to try and be happy since her powers caused a barrier because of the ability to harm if she touched someone. Yet he was immune to it and he would take complete advantage of this unknown power.

"Wait you did? I had a crush on you a lot longer maybe, I don't know when it started but I'm glad I know about us now" Ralph replied, touched to be someone's interest. He then blushed again as Rouge called him a good flatterer and that he knew how to make girls feel special "Well it's true. You're welcome"

"Sounds like a plan" Ralph replied, finishing up with the sandwhiches then eventually putting them both on separate plates. He gave her the sandwhich he made for her then put his own plate down. He eventually sat down and drank on his soda also. "Oh it's ok. It used to be only one apartment building but thanks to Felix, he made tons of other houses for me and other people in the game to rest in. It's kinda like this place but with less electricity and eight-bit stuff"

[Anna Raven/Rogue]

Rogue blushed at his honesty. He had such faith and love for her. She smiled at him.

"Thank you. I'm glad you chose me. Even though you could have found anyone better than me." said Rogue.

She paused having meant to think that last statement and blushed a bit embarrassed and turned away. Her father's hatred of her being a mutant. The countless people she'd knocked unconscious with a kiss or a touch had taken their toll on her. And if they were mutants she temporarily borrowed their powers. Sometimes it helped if her teammates were knocked out and she needed to borrow their power to help in a fight. Or to help them escape a trap. But her self worth had been shattered years ago. Despite having friends on the X-men and here it hadn't changed much. Although it was starting to with the more Ralph showered her with attention and love. She pulled herself from her thoughts hearing Ralph's words.

"Really? Well I guess it's a good thing this worked on then. I already had a guy back home who liked me and I liked him. But he was a mutant and we kissed a few times. But every time I did it put him in a coma. If I touch someone long enough they mind could be stuck as a part of me forever. Like what happened to Miss Marvel. I still regret what my mother tricked me into doing but there was no way to free her from my mind in my world. Perhaps there might be a way here. Even if I can't return her to her body she at least deserves to be at peace. Not stuck in my head." said Rogue.

Rogue grinned at his words.

"Thanks for the food. Next time I'm cooking though." said Rogue.

She paused as he brought food and drinks to her as she took them. She paused listening to him.

"So you used to live by yourself? Well at least you did have some friends right?" said Rogue.

[Wreck-It-Ralph]

Ralph raised a brow at Rogue's modest comment. He didn't want anyone else, it was shocking for Rogue to think she wasn't worthy of anyone's love, especially his own. "You're not just anyone, you're special. To me, you are at least. That's why I chose you. Because you're worth a lot" Ralph was aware now of Rogue's personal self-esteem issues due to her admitting some of her past. He wanted to let her know that he found her worthy. Regardless of what everyone else said.

"It is a good thing. But hopefully you can find a way to either free or be at peace. I can help anyway I can if you want. I'm sorry all that stuff happened to you" Ralph said sympathetically, sadly drinking more of his soda. He wished he knew rogue previously so he could've helped her more but now that the two were here, nothing would really change the fact that it just happened. Ralph was aware of this fact.

"I didn't even have a house to live in by myself" Ralph said bitterly "A unhygenic, lonely dump pit was my home for a while. Felix did treat me nicely but the rest treated me like, quite literally, garbage. My mom once told me karma would get them, but it never seemed to for a while" He huffed harshly. "They hated me for actually doing my job as a villain in the video game. But nowadays things are great and I'm very glad with my job. It was just rough is all" He ate his sandwhich "Sorry, didn't mean to get upset"

[Anna Raven/Rogue]

Rogue smiled at him.

"You certainly now how to make a gal feel special. I don't know how I got lucky enough to be with someone like you. But I'm glad we met. It was worth a lifetime of misery to be with you. Just try to be patient with me. I've had my heart broken too many times and been treated worse than dirt by humans and evil mutants. I had a few friends but that's not the same as having someone love you. And now I finally have that." said Rogue.

Rogue smiled at him.

"Well finding you was a start. I might need to talk to Splinter or Mrs. Potts for awhile. Just to have someone to vent to and who'll listen. I know you'd listen but you're also my boyfriend. And well you'd take my side. They might be able to help me more than you would. But I'll still would like to talk to you as well. And I hope you will like to talk to me as well about anything." said Rogue.

She kept eating her food occasionally sipping her soda as they chatted. She paused as he spoke about his life and she frowned.

"It sounds like we were made for each other. Kindred spirits I believe it's called. Both of us had crappy lives with a few friends. But everything got better today when we admitted when I found I could touch you. When we admitted we liked each other." said Rogue.

She stopped seeing he was angry. She walked up to him and gave him a hug before a quick peck on the cheek.

"It's ok to get mad. I'm mad at them as well for how they treated you. Just as I'm mad at everyone who treated me badly. Xavier always used to tell me I couldn't let my past control me. I didn't really understand it then but now I do. If we keep focusing on past mostly the insults and pain we'll never get to truly be happy. We have to let all of that go and focus on our future." said Rogue.

[Wreck-It-Ralph]

"Well they don't deserve someone as nice as you. Plain and simple. If they can't accept all your qualities then they shouldn't be with you at all. And I'm not one to make people feel special, I'm just being honest" Ralph replied honestly. He didn't want Rogue to feel so upset about herself because of the scum who didn't treat her the same simply because she was different. It was fear, sure but it was also a ignorant hate and Ralph knew what that caused. Prejudice, disgust, unwillingness to change.

"Mrs. Potts and Splinter seem like the go-to guide for a lot of advice and taking things out on. I'm glad we have people like them. That's a good idea to do by the way. And of course I'd talk to you about anything. Talking about a piece of paper of you would be great even" Ralph smiled, trying to make the situation lighter. But he was being serious. Talking to her was always a treat. He enjoyed her company. He liked the fact that they were together.

"Yeah. It is like that. We were meant to be. Crappy lives with few friends and whatnot" Ralph said slightly bitter still. But Rogue's kiss on his cheek and a hug made it admittedly much better. He felt comfortable around her. Honest around her. Safe around her. He continued to eat after he hugged her back and responded "Yeah you're right. I can't let it bother me so much. The past is that, the past. We need to move on" He smiled and hugged her, kissing her cheek "You are right. The future is good, because it lead me to you"

[Anna Raven/Rogue]

Rogue blushed at his compliments.

"Thank you. I haven't anyone talk to me like that in a long time. Except for my friends but it's not the same you know." said Rogue.

Rogue nodded as he agreed with her.

"Yeah. I think I'll talk to them. They're pretty much the army's counselors I guess." said Rogue.

She grinned at him.

"Yes. We're like two halves of a whole. Not complete until we met each other. At least that's how I feel." said Rogue.

Rogue grinned glad she was cheering him up a little.

"I guess we help each other too. When one of us feels down we should make the other happy even if they don't want to talk about it. And we should keep our past in the past. Aside from our friends. I would like to talk about them. Maybe one of them will show up here one day." said Rogue.

She paused as he kissed her on the cheek and she grinned.

"The future didn't lead you to me. You did that on your own. And I'm glad you did." said Rogue.

She grinned leaning forward and kissing him on the lips losing herself in the moment. She really was falling hard for Ralph and she knew if they found a way to go back home she'd take him with her. Or go back to his world. So neither of them would be alone anymore.

[Wreck-It-Ralph]

"Yeah I know. It's hard to accept compliments sometimes but I mean every word" Ralph replied, smiling as he saw that his words were making her feel better about herself. Which was what he wanted.

"Yeah I think you should. I am glad they're here though. They're really helpful" Ralph agreed about splinter and Mrs. Potts. He listened then to Rogue comment that they were like two separate halves joined together. It made his day. He thought that was exactly it. "That is right. Two halves that are finally completed. That's really nice to think about" He giggled softly at that

"We do help each other. And maybe our friends will show up and we'll see them again. But right now it's just us and I like it" Ralph replied cheerfully. Ralph then heard rogue's next statement and felt like a million dollars, and as she kissed him, he kissed back with just as much passion. He too fell for her in a instant. And wished to spend any time with her, and even go so far as to spend the rest of his life with her. He enjoyed the moment, allowing it to last before pulling back and responding softly "I'm glad I did too"

[Anna Raven/Rogue]

Rogue smiled at him.

"And I thank you for that. I've just hated myself for so long. For being a mutant. For not being able to touch people. I guess in a way I was broken. But I feel a lot better when I'm with you. I don't feel lonely or sad. I feel like I matter. I love you and I'm so glad you feel the same way. I have made mood swings and nightmares for awhile. I might even try to push you away sometimes but that's out of fear. I've never really had love before. I've had friends but that's not really the same. This is just so new to me and I'm glad I have you." said Rogue.

Rogue nodded as he agreed about Splinter and Mrs. Potts. They were like the grandparents she'd always wanted. Giving you advice, and never judging you. Always trying to help you feel better.

"I will talk to them. I know it'll help." said Rogue.

She usually talked with Xavier. All the X-men did. But she didn't have him or the X-men to talk to anymore. She was stranded in this universe but for the first time she was glad she had been.

"If this war had never happened, if we'd never been brought here we'd have never met. I may never see my home or my friends again but I don't think I'd want to go back there without you. I'd rather stay here in this new world with you. Where mutants are just fictional characters in tv shows or comic books. And people won't be hunting me down. Maybe once this war's over Linksano and the others could invent something to block my powers. Something I could take off if I needed to. I always wanted a normal life but now I'd just be happy to have a life with you." said Rogue.

Rogue grinned as he agreed about her metaphor of two halves who are finally complete.

"Yes. And I definitely don't want to split our halves up ever again." said Rogue.

Rogue nodded.

"If they show up it would be nice. Although this house does get a bit too crowded sometimes for us to just hang out together. Even if it's just hanging out in the woods I'd love to spend more time with you. And only you." said Rogue.

Rogue grinned as they were kissing and it was so wonderful. When they pulled back he said he was glad they'd found each other. Her stomach growled suddenly and she blushed.

"Those sandwiches nearly done? I'm hungrier than I thought." said Rogue.

[Wreck-It-Ralph]

"I understand. Whatever you need I'm here for it. I'm new to this whole thing too. We'll help each other!" Ralph encouraged softly. He then nodded as Rogue mentioned that talking would help and he agreed with that. He didn't know what else to say. He then smiled as Rogue said she preferred to stay here with him "I could go with you or stay here with you regardless. I mean I do like my world but I'd rather spend the rest of my life with you more than anything else. You understand me for being myself, nothing else"

"Me neither and yeah, I'd just like to spend time with only you" Ralph replied, he then chuckled as her stomach growled. He looked at their sandwhiches and shook his head "We haven't finished due to talking. But since you're hungry, once this is done I can make more"

[Anna Raven/Rogue]

Rogue smiled at him.

"Thanks. You're the best. At least some good came out of this war. We gained friends and some of us even got to find love. Carly and Steve. Nani and Morpheus. You and Me. And many others. That wouldn't have happened without this war." said Rogue.

Rogue looked at him with a grin.

"Maybe you could come with me. Our worlds may not treat us right but I know my world still needs people like me. Especially my friends who are probably all worried about me. We understand each other. I'm so glad I met you." said Rogue.

Rogue grinned glad they were on the same page. She grinned at him.

"I guess we should talk while we make them then huh? Those look really good." said Rogue.
