Kiara got out of her position seeing Kovu look upon Dash, and the cub realized that the pony, despite protestations, was hurting. Kiara's pride got out of the way to not notice that before, but now that she did notice, Kiara felt extremely guilty. The wrestling match with Kovu definitely had to wait. The cub turned to Kovu and responded back "I'll check her wings then see if they have medical supplies. You're right. I think I might have gone too far" The cub went over and responded, guilty in tone and in expression "Crud. I'm so sorry Dash. You ok? Be honest with me bud, I just wanted to wrestle. Didn't mean to hurt you"

Lilo felt like Nani probably would feel, like Edith was someone she depended on and could take care of, but Edith was her friend and all that mattered was her happiness. Lilo hugged back as tightly as she could response, feeling happier than she had in a while. Lilo responded happily "It's not a problem Edith. You wanna let me read another one to you, that is if you want"

Rainbow rubbed her wings in pain. "They only hurt when I try to move them , it looks like I won't be flying for a little while. "She said with a grimace as her wings pulsed with pain. Dash hugs Kiara tightly. "These things can happen sometimes even when you're being extra careful . I know you far FAR too well to think you'd ever do this on purpose. It was just an accident. I know if something like this had happened to you, you would be sooo quick to forgive me so, I'm quick to forgive you. Just try to watch the wings next time in our wrestling match. My wings aren't really used to that type of pressure and weight on them. " Dash nuzzles Kiara's cheek a little . "I'm a Brave girl , I'll live." Rainbow said with a brave smile.

Edith gives another fairy tale book to Lilo. "I'd really like that"Edith said.

Kiara's expression showed guily even when Dash assured her that she was forgiven and that this happened before. The cub probably never meant intentionally to harm Dash, all she wanted to do was enjoy herself. She was glad Rainbow had no hard feelings but she'd be damned to hurt her. Kiara hugged back and responded, with a smile, trying to not show she was guilty as she was "Yeah, I know you're tough as heck Rainbow. I'll be more careful regardless" She looked at the wings and sighed "I hope they heal fast. They look a little swollen"

Lilo grinned, happy to hear acceptance from Edith that she could commence. The girl grabbed the book again and turned to Little Red Riding Hood, and smiled with joy "Oooooh! This one's my favorite!" She then began to read the first part "Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Red, and she had a red riding hood made from her grandmother. One day her mother told red that she had to go pick goodies for her grandmother who was sick. Red went off and heard the fatal warning from her mother "Now red! Don't go too far into the woods alright?" Red didn't listen though and went in. It was dark and she eventually got lost, where she met a strange looking wolf...."

Kovu runs back with an ice pack. Rainbow grimaces in pain again as she touches her injured wings. " don't touch them, that's just gonna make the pain worse and it won't help the healing process either" Kovu said and makes Dash sit down and rest. "Now , sit back and relax, with this ice pack and try not to move or touch your wings." Kovu said.

Dash sighed all ready feeling a little bored.

Kovu turns to Kiara and nuzzels her with a soft purr. " I know Dash has told you this about a million times, but it's not your fault" Kovu said.

" I love this story" edith said moving closer to LILO.

Kiara looked sheepish as Dash sighed, she messed up her friend's wings and this injury was bound to be questioned. Which meant future trouble but kiara was a bit of a fiesty cub like her father was. Speaking of which, Simba was bound to have been worried sick by now. Ignoring that, Kiara felt nuzzling and blushed extensively to Kovu, who was the one doing the said action. Oh great, this was helpful to her unspecified crushing apparently he was more obvious about it. Kiara then replied "I know but still... I didn't mean it" She breathed "If it helps, I'll be more careful with you Kovu"

Lilo put her arm around her friend as she continued "Then Red realized it was the wolf of the whole forest that her mother told her about, but she assumed he was nice and said hello. The wolf asked "What are you doing here by your lonesome?" And Red said "Well I'm giving goodies to my granny, she's sick in bed and waiting for me" The wolf said "I say that's nice of you, why not get flowers for her also, oh and you can give me your hood so it won't get dirty" Naively, Red permitted him the hood while she went for flowers. The wolf snuck away with the hood chuckling "Ha! Stupid girl! Now I shall trick granny to let me in and I can eat her!" He then put the robe on and went in the house" She turned to Edith for her reaction before she could continue.

"Come on Kiara, everyone knows you would never do this on purpose. And because you care so much, you're one of the bestest friends I have ever had. My wings will be fine probably within a couple days and when they are I want a rematch. Don't get too used to beating me."Rainbow said prodding Kiara playfully with a hoof. "And I wouldn't suggest that. I mean you have to go easier on me because well, I am sorta out of practice. Kovu however probably wrestles all of the time. Unless you wanna lose I wouldn't suggest going easy on him" Dash said.

Kovu playfully growls at Kiara. " Yeah, Rainbow might be a little out of practice, but, I'm not. I am always wrestling. You're looking at the same cub who's wrestled every single out lander cub and beat them. They are the toughest of the tough. You don't need to be careful with me. In fact I'll be careful with you" Kovu said with a playful wink to Kiara.

Kiara smirked amused with Rainbow's kindness and forgiving sense of nature. She was actually beyond glad but she wanted to look tough for both Kovu and Rainbow, so she just smiled. "Alright, you guys are right. I shouldn't be so worried. It's just a thing I'm used to doing" She shrugged then smiled as Rainbow said next time to take it easier then be careful when fighting Kovu. That made her growl in excitement as Kovu also growled and teased her. She got into a crouch and started coming toward Kovu "Nah, the only one careful should be you. I may be a princess but I am a champion compared to the people back at my home" She then, a bit more careful than with rainbow, attacked Kovu aware he was probably just starting

Lilo continued the story "So the wolf continued to go to granny's house with the hood on and he arrived at the house, and he knocked on the door saying to granny "Granny, I have your goodies" and granny allowed him in, thinking it was Red, before the wolf ate her up, disguised himself as Granny and awaited for Red" She giggled, liking this part of the story due to knowing the ending and continued "When red made it, she saw her granny and said "Oh dear granny! What big eyes you have!" The wolf said, pretending to be granny "The better to see you with my dear" Red then said "What a big nose you have granny!" Wolf said "The better to smell your goodies my dear" Then finally Red said "Granny! What big teeth you have!" The wolf then jumped up and shouted "THE BETTER TO EAT YOU WITH MY DEAR!" And then ate her... But that's not the end"

Kovu playfully growls to Kiara and wrestles with her. " is that the best you can do? At least pretend like you wanna beat me. Kovu challenged with a playful growl.

" Come on, Kiara kick that smelly boys butt" Dash cheered.

Edith gasped as LILO said the wolf ate her. Her eyes gleaming with excitement to what happened next.

Kiara wrestled back, laughing harshly, as if ignoring Kovu's demand for her to try harder. She knew he was teasing but her type of teasing was quite... unsutble. Kiara tried to be careful as she pinned Kovu to the ground and she laughed "Oh I'm not pretending, I WANT to beat you, and I'm gonna" She then tumbled a bit around the floor with Kovu, further encouraged by Dash's cheers. She was having fun again but something in her fighting was careful

Lilo winked to Edith as she continued "Suddenly there was a big strong hunter who was noble and good. He saw the wolf eat Red and he was horrified. Enough to come in and shoot the wolf in the head. He grabbed his knife and got both granny and red out. Red after a while replied "Thanks mister" The hunter smiled and replied "No trouble but next time make sure to stay away from wolves my dear" Granny nodded in agreement and Red nodded also. So ended this tale and Red never went to the dark woods again. The end"

Kovu rolled around the grass with Kiara and tries to pin her down.

"Come on Kiara, Kovu has no chance against you you're awesome" dash said.

Edith clapped and whistled as LILO finished . " you're like the bestest story teller ever" edith said.

Kiara rolled around alongside Kovu, allowing the male cub to try and pin her, but the cub was a bit too stubborn to actually allow him. Kiara quickly dodged some of Kovu's moves and did her best to just find a way to make herself become the victor. Dash's comments completely encouraged her, and made her laugh confidently as she rolled around more and more in the grass with Kovu. Kiara teased "Come on Kovu, are you getting tired now?"

Lilo took a little bow "Thank you Edith. You're too kind" She looked at the book and sighed a little bit "Nani reads stories to me sometimes. I guess I got it from her" Lilo then pondered, thinking that they couldn't just keep reading, and decided to get something to eat. She turned to Edith and responded "That reading actually made me thirsty and hungry. Let's get something huh?"

" I'll show you "getting tired" " Kovu said with a playful growl as he continued to playfully fight with Kiara.

Edith gets up and wraps an arm around her best friend. " sounds good, it's about time for a milk and cookies break anyway" Edith said.

Kiara laughed some more, seriously having a good time with this. Eventually though her weight was being overpowered by Kovu's and she showed some parts of indeed getting tired, but she moved a certain part to the left to pin down Kovu hard enough for him to stay still. Hopefully, it would work. Kiara was enjoying herself once more

Lilo put her arm around Edith also, really enjoying the younger girl's company. Lilo quickly walked with her to the kitchen and got milk out as well as getting some chocolate chip ahoy cookies. She smirked to Edith "Good thing we have them otherwise we'd be starving huh?" She giggled before pouring cups for herself and edith, giving the both of them six cookies each and she started dipping her cookies in the milk and eating them.

Kovu tried to wiggle out of it but then sighed. "All right Kiara you beat me" Kovu said dejectedly.

"Way To GO Kiara, that's showing that girls are better at wrestling than boys." Dash said.

After getting a bit bored from being inside Rolly walked outside with a happy pant.

" Yeah, you said it" Edith said dunking her cookies in the milk as well.

Kiara eventually released Kovu and gave a happy laugh, she turned to Dash who was cheering for her before Kiara looked over to Kovu. She smirked and helped Kovu up and responded "Hey, you still were good kovu. You did great! You'd beat up anybody if you ask me. Just not, well, me" She chuckled in amusement before nuzzling Kovu. She wanted to be sure he wasn't completely offended

Lilo dunked more of her cookies and ate them. She turned to see Rolly but paid no mind seeing Darla go after him. She turned to Edith and grinned happily "OK other than chocolate chip what kind of cookie do you like? I personally like Oreos! Oreos are MADE to be dunked!" She continued eating with Edith

Darla also was bored but also felt really excitable around Rolly. Feeling empowered, she followed him to outside to see if he was willing to hang out with her a lot more. Darla crept up behind him before giving him a big lick on the face. She giggled "Surprise Rolly!"
