Rainbow Dash after flying around a little bit had landed and looks around for someone to play with. Rainbow Dash always liked to keep herself moving and she'd love a friendly competitive race she wouldn't even mind playing tag at this point. She rests hoping to find Kiara or a pup to come up and want to play with her.

[Kiara]

Kiara was bored today. It was a while since she and Rainbow hung out, which was ironic that the pegasus was flying down already. The war did take a toll on the lot of them, mostly because of the violent environment but Kiara loved it for the adventure and loved it all the more when her pegasus buddy was around. Seeing no-one else to play besides her at the moment, the cub ran over to her friend and poked her playfully. "Heya Dash! Haven't seen you in a while? What say to a little wrestling or a race huh?"

(OCC: Will bring in a couple more charries but for now it's just Kiara)

"Kiara? Oh my gosh , what's up BFF" She said hugging Kiara. "Didn't think you'd be playing with me today, thought you'd be too busy with your boyfriend" RD said talking about Kovu and gives Kiara a playful little shove. "Wrestling huh? I'm game if you are. Been a while since I have wrestled any pony *Ahem* body but that aside you're going DOWN." Rainbow Dash said playfully with a smile to her BFF.

(Might just do the same if it's all right with you)

Kiara was pleased and hugging Rainbow Dash right back as the pegasus spoke and hugged her. Kiara was shocked that Dash thought she wouldn't want to play with her friend ever since Kovu got involved. It made Kiara blush like a tomato and she immediately denied it "No dash, we're just friends... Though it could work out" She confessed it quickly and checked to see if Kovu was around and for the moment he wasn't. With a sense of relief, she focused on Dash's cocky response to her and Kiara responded with a playful pouncing stance. Letting out a laugh, Kiara stated playfully "I think it'd be the other way around Dash but let's cut the chat and get down to it huh?"

" you took the words right out of my mouth girl. Don't hold back anything, I wanna see your best. Do you wanna make the first move or should I" Rainbow dash said making playful little jabs at Kiara with her hooves.

[Kiara]

Kiara got ready and laughed a bit as Dash poked her with her hooves. She missed this somewhat since Rainbow was flying a lot more since the war got started. The cub playfully sneered and responded "You should. That way it'll be easier to take you down" That was a joke and it was clear in the cub's voice. Kiara hoped that this game would last a while before anyone had time to butt into it. She wanted to hang out with her best friend here and so she would.

Rainbow got herself ready to pouce on top of Kiara. " suit yourself" she said flying head on at Kiara hoping to playfully tackle her over.

[Kiara]

Kiara did expect Rainbow to do a flying move before sparing, so she responded with pouncing her too even though Rainbow successfully tackled her. Kiara laughed and was enjoying herself immensely. She was glad to finally have a chance to spar with her best friend, because out of everyone here Rainbow actually had the ability and guts to spar with her. She wrestled down hard and easy with Rainbow, determined to win as well as have fun.

Elsewhere Lilo was reading in the living room and saw the two sparing. Annoyed with it slightly, because it disturbed her reading, she rolled her eyes and continued to read. Lilo wasn't a sparing person, she was either into dancing, reading, playing easy games or all three. So the pegasus and lion cub near her weren't amusing her in the slightest.

Dash continued to playfully spar with Kiara. She was having so much fun nothing would bring her down.

Just then Kovu walked up with a smile seeing the 2 spar. " I got winner" Kovu said happily.


Edith walks up to LILO, " hey there BFF, what you reading"? Edith asked her best pal.

Kiara saw Kovu and her focus faltered because of said cub, but Rainbow dash wrestled her down more and the female cub continued on. She shouted to Kovu "Alright then, I'm sure you'll get me soon enough" She then pushed Rainbow down to the ground and tried to get the pegasus to give up now. She was determined to read and keep going on as much as she could. The cub didn't like losing, even if this was a game between her and her friends. Maybe it was her passion, maybe it was competitiveness in her nature but Kiara was one stubborn kid.

"Fairy tales" Lilo responded, looking up only to Edith, smiling at her. She still tried to not pay attention to the two wrestling. She was glad she was reading and gladder when Edith arrived, now that the pink covered kid was here, the hawaiian could be distracted easier. The girl offered the book and asked "Wanna read with me, Edith? It's pretty fun to"

Rainbow Dash was just as stubborn as Kiara if not even more so. Rainbow tried to counter so that she had Kiara beaten. "You could never beat me Kitty" Rainbow dash said playfully to Kiara.

Edith was never one to read especially not Fairy tales but the little girl was bored. She snuggled up close to Lilo to read the book with her.

[Lilo]

"Yes I can!" Kiara simply retorted, seemingly determined even more now, mostly because of Kovu's arrival. The cub wrestled Rainbow dash to the floor slightly but the pony seemed to have the upper hand, as seen with her flying pinning Kiara down in some way. She didn't want to HURT her friend but maybe if she took advantage of the wings, maybe Kiara would win for sure. Kiara twirled as much as she could, trying to pounce on said wings. Kiara felt Kovu's watchful eye and hoped he was enjoying this.

Lilo smiled as her friend snuggled up to her, expecting her to read, and most likely Lilo was happy to read. The girl opened up to the story of The Ugly Duckling, a personal favorite of hers and starting reading. She spoke calmly "Once there was a small grey duckling who was lost in the woods, the duck who was with him shouted "You're not my baby!" and left while the poor grey duckling was upset but wanting to find a home. As the duckling went many kept looking at him as if he was a disgusting creature, and stuck nasty faces" Lilo turned to Edith and sighed "You know our society can be best explained by fairy tales sometimes, and that's just sad" She opened the book again and continued to read, looking to see her friends reaction.

Kovu watched on and cheered on Kiara. "Come on you can beat her, Kiara. I know you can" Kovu said. Not wanting for RD to get hurt but still wanting Rainbow to lose.

Rainbow Dash tried to wrestle Kiara but when Kiara pounced on top of her wings she grimaced in pain. "All right, I tap out you win" Rainbow said as the pain pulsed through her wings.

Edith nods just a little bit and moves closer to Lilo. "The Ugly Duckling. I remember that book, my mom used to read it to me everytime me and my sisters went to bed. That is before she died" Edith said trying to be brave and not start crying now, about her past before Mrs. Hattie, before Gru. When her and her sisters still had their real mommy and daddy.

Kiara laughed, feeling rather triumphant the minute the pony demanded that she let go. Kiara instantly let go and responded with a smirk "Alright. That was pretty good Dashie. Next time, don't let me get your wings" She let out another laugh, poking gently at Dash's shoulder. She was glad it was over now, so she could get closer to Kovu, who was the one to encourage her. Speaking of which, it was her turn to beat him. That seemed more fun surprisingly. Hopefully she'd beat him too. Kiara got into her pouncing stance and responded "Thanks for the compliments Kovu but let's say you and me get ready!"

Lilo's eyes raised and she put a hand over Edith to be assuring. She didn't mean to bring in bad memories, she wanted to just read. Hopefully Edith would feel better if she continued. Edith's mother apparently read this, maybe if Lilo read it more, it would make her friend feel a bit less nostalgic. The girl continued to read on "Well, um. So the ugly duckling kept walking through the forest. One of the creatures in the forest then exclaimed "Ewwww. Why are you around? You're so ugly!" The other creatures laughed, causing the duckling to run away from them. He stopped running after a while and eventually shouted "I'm lost!" And began to cry. Then suddenly a nice old lady came by and said to the duckling "Oh my you poor thing! Come inside!" The lady since then helped the duckling through the rest of the summer, fall even winter. Until finally the duckling was old enough to leave. As he went outside, many people gasped in surprise, for the duckling was no longer a duckling. Nor was he ugly. He turned into a beautiful swan!"

Rainbow rubs her wings in pain but trying not to show she was hurt. "Great match, I hope you know I want a rematch now though" Dash said. Kovu got a little distracted for a moment.

" Dash, are you OK? We just wanted Kiara to win not for you to get hurt. You're not hurt are you?" Kovu asked concerned.

" Me? I'm fine!" Dash lied.

Kovu looks at Dash worriedly.

" I'm not really believing her, maybe we should help her first, then I'll own you in our wrestling match" Kovu whispers to Kiara.

Edith snuggles up a bit more to LILO and gives a smile as she continued to read. Edith loved remembering her parents. She hugs LILO as tightly as possible. " Thanks, LILO" edith said.
