Fighting The Good Fight

Elisa walked out carrying a sword ready to fight as she looked for a training partner. She was eager to blow off some steam. Rescuing the others and losing Ma-Ti had made it very sad around the house. She just wanted to train and vent through battle. She felt sad Ma-Ti was gone and this time there didn't look like a way to bring him back. She paused looking for an opponent to train with.

Diamanda walked out after Elisa carrying a sword. She didn't want to fight Elisa. She wanted to fight someone who could challenge her. So she waited for someone else to arrive.

Nella walked out next carrying a sword. She wanted to get stronger. She was helping out in the labs and where she could. But she new she needed to learn how to fight. Especially if she ran into her darker half Dark Nella in battle. She didn't want to fight Elisa. And Diamanda probably wanted someone skilled to fight and Nella didn't blame her for that. So she waited for someone else to come out.

Ruber walked out ready to train. He knew he wasn't liked or even trusted at the moment but he felt like training was something he could do at the moment. It wasn't like he could hurt anyone while serving King Henry. And it wasn't like he could get out of this. He wasn't sure if even Facilier, Rita, or Malachite could break this bond. He was probably stuck here now. He paused looking for an opponent.

Rachel got a sword on her hand. She was looking for a partner to train with her and she asked :"Is anybody wants to train with me please?"Rach asked kindly.

[Elisa/Maven Of The Eventide]

Elisa turned to Rachel and smiled walking over to her.

"Sure. I'll train with you." said Elisa.

She smiled heading off away from the others waiting for Rachel to follow. She didn't want to accidentally hurt Nella, Diamanda, or Ruber. And she was still skeptical about Ruber. But they let Maleficent, Starscream, and Grimhilde join them. So they should let Ruber have a chance. Especially since Hal pretty much insisted that he worked for him now which meant he was on their side now. She held her sword ready to train with Rachel.

Diamanda, Nella, and Ruber stood off to the side watching them train waiting for someone else to come out and train with them.

"Okay thanks" Rachel said to Elisa smiling at her.

Rachel followed Elisa quietly and she tried to not hurt anyone who was next to her with her sword. Then Rachel released her sword and clashed her sword with Elisa's to train.

[Spoony]

(OCC: Angry Joe, Hal, Spoony and Donny are in this. More might come later. Maybe thor can come up and help out with Hal a tad, tease his feathers? XD. But seriously though, any character talking to hal is fine)

Hal meanwhile by himself training already, knowing Ruber would wait for someone else to train since he wasn't really happy with being around Hal entirely. He asked Critic permission for bow and arrows to aim at the targets they had set up, and Critic ironically had some in the back in case some of the other members wished to use them. Some have but not a lot. To Hal, archery was a good way to focus yourself and keep your eye on the enemy. His sword was with him yes but people were either training with someone else or were fighting practice dummies. Hal didn't like waiting so he decided to be alone for the moment. He aimed his bow right at the target's middle. Steady. Ready. Aim. And--

"Greetings friend!"

Instant concentration made Hal vunerable to surprises and when the unspecified voice shouted, it spooked hal to miss his aim and the arrow went flying to the grassy plains and a loud meow was heard. Hal bit his lip, hoping the unspecified animal would live before hastily turning to the person who spooked him. "Next time sir, please wait til I have fired the arrow!" His tone was spooked too, so it sounded like he was anxious.

Elsewhere Angry Joe was suspicious with Hal's new guest. Although Hal was well-trusted, Ruber was not. He didn't want the man to be near anyone else. So, Angry Joe decided, maybe he himself could keep ruber on his toes by offering to train. While Joe would've preferred to be with someone else, the man knew Ruber would want to train with someone. So joe went over, abeit relunctinately, to Ruber. "Hey. Wanna train?" It sounded like a command but the question still was offered to the untrustworthy knight. Joe would be allies, but not friends, at least not today.

"Dia! Wanna train? If you can handle it that is!" Spoony teased. Spoony was good friends with Diamanda and he usually was cocky enough to feel that he could be the challenge she would want. Spoony felt a bit easier nowadays since new allies and old ones were coming all over the place. They would win for sure with the numbers they were getting. So the man felt that the joker woman wouldn't mind a hissy fit or two with him. It would be fun

"Hiya nella. Did I miss anything?" Donny asked, grabbing his bo. Like Nella most of donny's work was at the lab but don knew that one day he would have to not rely on the drawing board. He looked to Nella seeing she was the only one not picked to train yet and he smiled. He looked to her sword and his bo staff and asked "Wanna train? We might as well get better huh?"

Elisa grinned as Rachel agreed as they headed out to train as their swords clashed. Elisa hadn't trained with Rachel before but she figured this would be fun. She swung her sword at her again as they kept training.

Ruber paused as he looked up at Joe and nodded. He hadn't seen him before. He must have been one of the newer recruits to Critic's army. He knew he wasn't trusted or well-liked here. He supposed he had a lot to make up for now. Although if it was his choice he'd still be with Facilier's Army but Ruber had beaten him and spared his life. However, he wasn't sure if he could hurt anyone thanks to the sword tattoo. He had sworn loyalty to Hal which meant Critic's army. He didn't want to find out what other side effects the tattoo had on him. For all, he knew if he hurt someone he could end up in pain as well. And the pain wasn't something he was looking forward to.

"Alright. I'll train with you. But remember we are no longer enemies." said Ruber.

He held up his hand revealing a sword tattoo on his hand that was glowing again to Ruber's surprise. He glanced back at Joe.

"I'm sure you've heard the story from King Hal by now so let's get to training." said Ruber.

He charged at Joe swinging his sword at Joe's sword as it clashed with him waiting for Joe to make the next move.

Diamanda turned to Spoony and smirked.

"Alright. Let's see what you've got. Although I won't go easy on you." said Diamanda, teasing him.

She smirked holding a sword in her hand as she grinned and charged at him.

Nella turned to Donatello and shook her head.

"No. Not much. Just people pairing off to start training. Ruber, Nella, Elisa, and I have only been out here a few minutes. Then Rachel and the rest of you guys showed up." said Nella.

She smiled at him.'

"Sure. Although I haven't really done any training that's why I came here. I guess I'm a beginner. But I know I can't say I'll always be in the lab. The house has been attacked before a couple of times so I need to be ready to fight no matter where I am." said Nella.

She paused and grinned.

"So maybe you could start going easy on me a little until I get the hang of this?" said Nella, grinning.

[Spoony]

Hal still awaited the answer from the unspecified person. While he did, his nerves calmed down and he decided to address himself better than he did previously. He responded, a lot calmer this time "Apoligies, I did not mean to rudely snap at you, but you startled me and I did not want to hurt anyone. God bless the owner of that cat though" He cringed as he heard another meow but it sounded like it was in pain. He turned to the other person and chuckled "If I wasn't so focused I would've laughed this event off"

"Never asked you to take it easy! Since when are you able to--" Spoony was startled at Diamanda suddenly charging, but he clashed swords with her instantly and laughed the whole thing off. Spoony enjoyed the woman's company even though previously they hit it off negatively, it wasn't a terrible relationship before but it was not as great as it was now. Dia and Spoony were basically pals now and training proved it. "Still got it eh Dia?" He joked

"I'm aware of that. I trust Hal's word but I don't have to entirely like it at the moment. It's kinda hard to trust someone who nearly killed us in that past, savvy?" Joe snapped impatiently before clashing swords with ruber. He was going to play it fair but Joe's face was full of some sort of vengeful determination. Ruber was really lucky to have brought him here by Hal's offering, otherwise Ruber would've been easily imprisoned or attacked. Joe swung a bit at Ruber's side, not trying to hurt him but it was pretty close for comfort.

"Oh ok. Neato. I'm glad things didn't go crazy yet" Donny joked and smiled as Nella agreed to his offer. Going somewhere safe where no-one would get hurt, Donny paired up with Nella quickly and smiled at her. He was glad to have people like her around, ones that were kind and engaging. Donny nodded politely "Of course Nella. I'll be more than happy to go easy on you. I'm a bit rusty myself" He shrugged and then offered space so Nella could attack first. He got in a battling stance and responded kindly "Alright nella. Charge at me, I promise I won't move until you do"

Rachel smiled. It was fun to train with Elisa. The sound of clashing swords was banging and Rachel tried to pull out Eliza's sword from her hand. She smirked "Did I do it right?"She asked

Diamanda chuckled as Spoony charged at her as their weapons clashed. This was pretty fun.

"Of course. You're not so bad yourself Spoony. Of course having something constantly trying to kill you and Linkara would keep you at your best." said Diamanda.

She chuckled as they kept sparring.

Ruber frowned at him.

"You know I didn't ask for this. I was bluffing when I said I'd work for him. I was planning on ditching you guys once I was healed. But now my plans are gone." said Ruber.

He frowned as Joe looked angry as their swords clashed again.

"Fine. Don't believe me. It's not like I need you to trust me." said Ruber.

He scoffed as he laughed bitterly.

"It's kinda of ironic. Facilier and Ask That Guy wanted to enslave you and this world. Instead I end up as the slave to Hal and this army. Guess I deserved this." said Ruber.

He frowned blocking another of Joe's attacks as he swung his foot at him trying to stop him.

Nella smile at him glad he'd go easy on her.

"Alright. Here I go." said Nella.

Nella charged at him swinging her sword at him. She had to be careful. She didn't want to accidentally hurt herself or Donatello while training. She knew it would take awhile for her to get as good as him but training would certainly help.

Elisa smiled as they clashed.

"Sure. Although trying to grab my sword isn't a very good idea. After all some of our enemies have magic or are skilled in combat better than us. So you should try to focus on knocking me down or knocking my weapon out of my hand." said Elisa.

Brock smiled as he walked out into the arena carrying a bo staff. He didn't feel right holding a sword but he did need some protection. He knew he couldn't count completely on his Pokemon. What if magic could stop him from summoning them or seperate his Pokemon from him? He paused seeing Hal and smiled walking up to him.

"Greetings friend." said Brock.

He then realized Hal was training as he winced as the arrow missed hitting something as a meow was heard.

"Sorry. I didn't realize you were shooting an arrow. Although if saying hi distracts you then it might be harder to focus on the battlefield." said Brock.

He grinned showing he was teasing him.

"You think you could give me some pointers? I haven't really fought before. I always relied on my Pokemon to help me out. But I can't guarantee they'd be able to help me all the time. That's why I'm here. To train." said Brock.

[Spoony]

Spoony smirked at Dia's admittedly witty banter back to him, it was weird that he was friends with a dictator but he had quite a lot in common with her. He chuckled back as they continued fighting, nodding slightly "A lot of people think to be on their toes with constant people comin' at you, you're right" He kept clashing swords with her, letting some more effort get in there. He then saw joe with ruber and responded to her "I feel really weird about ruber being here" Knowing Ruber was too far away to hear, it was easy to admit it out loud, still Spoony kept his voice moderated

Joe was surprised that Ruber was admitting that if he wasn't bound to Hal, he would've left once they took his good graces. Well that just rose the bar of distrust within Angry Joe, enough for him to use a little more effort to take Ruber down that needed. Then Ruber somehow made Joe trip and it frustrated him, he didn't want to lose a sparring session with a former enemy. He got up and clashed some more "Well then. You like to take all the good graces you get I see? You know, you should be thanking Hal. I don't know why but he seems to want to spare you other than you be his servant"

Donny smiled and carefully dodged Nella's sword with his bo, he then moved out of the way and slowly aimed for her shoulder, doing his best not to hurt her at all. This was basic practice and it wasn't like they were instantly needed. Nella hadn't been around for long like he was and the last thing he wanted was to hurt her. Donny's attack was soft so it probably didn't hurt nella, but he asked "This ok nella? Is this slow enough to help you?"

Hal was relieved that he didn't get on Brock's bad side, and that he had a sense of humor about it. Hal smirked, amused with Brock's joke about lack of focus, before Brock admitted to needing help. Hal had no idea of half of what Brock told him but it had something to do with relying on more than just what he had. Hal let go of his archery bow and grabbed a staff similar to Brock's. Apparently the young man required help, and if he wanted Hal to help him then so he would. "I can assist you, yes. We will learn simple sparring with your staff as well as my own" He looked around when he heard a cat meowing once more and responded, with a hint of quick intensity "Let us get started shall we?"

[Nella]

Diamanda grinned as they kept sparring. She enjoyed hanging out with Spoony. He was a lot of fun. She paused glancing at Ruber and chuckled.

"You have a dictator, an evil fairy, an evil queen, an Insano from another universe, and a couple of Decepticons in your army. And you're worried about the one former villain who can't hurt anyone. You amaze me sometimes." said Diamanda.

She knew about Ruber's curse. The downside of being fused to that sword Excalibur in his world. Excalibur was always meant to be a servant of the king after all. So Ruber was now compelled to serve Hal and the army. She felt sympathy for the guy being forced to work. Although she had her own minions but they worked for her out of fear so it was different. She focused back on the fight and smirked. She swung her sword at Spoony's again.

Ruber grinned seeing he had tripped Joe up but the fight soon continued.

"Good graces? There's nothing good about this. I don't blame Hal. He didn't intend to enslave me to him. It was Excalibur's doing. I fused it to my arm. I was winning. I was almost King of England and then my plans were ruined by a girl and a blind boy. Now I'm stuck here. If I'd known about this when Hal offered that deal I would have chosen to die. I'd rather have died free than live like this." said Ruber.

He glared at Joe and frowned.

"Because we respected each other. He was a good opponent. One of the best fighters I've ever seen. Certainly better than you. Perhaps I should go fight him and you should fight someone more your level. Like one of the children." said Ruber.

Nella smiled at him as they went.

"Thanks. It is. I guess I do remember the time I was part of Dark Nella. She took over my body again. And I was surprised when we split into two beings. I've just never really fought much as myself. So I'm glad we're starting out slow." said Nella.

She grinned.

"I guess we can keep going. I just don't want to go too fast and risk hurting myself. So thanks for helping me out." said Nella.

She gripped her sword ready to try again.

Brock smiled as he said he could help him.

"Thanks. I haven't really done this before. So try to go easy on me but not too easy." said Brock.

He paused hearing a cat meow and looked at him.

"Perhaps we should check on that cat first. Make sure it's ok?" said Brock.

He had a feeling Hal would be distracted by that cat and he wanted Hal to focus on the training. And if the cat was hurt they should go find it and help it right?

[Donatello]

"I trust you, Maleficent's too powerful for me, I already beat Insano before, and I fucking hate transformers. Besides, I said I was feeling weird, not worried, weird" Spoony retorted, knowing the game that his friend was playing. He was having fun also, as seen with his smirk and wink. He kept clashing swords with Dia, noting how good she really was. "Damn Dia, you've been practicing. Speaking of which, got any wars other than this one or are the people behaving?" He was serious as shown with his tone. He wanted to know how his friend was

Donny smiled "Great! I'm glad to help!" Donny then nodded as Nella said they could do it again but be sure to take it slow. Donny was her friend and the last thing he wanted was to hurt her. The turtle carefully clashed his bo with her sword and responded "Feel free to dodge, I promise I won't try to hit you" He stepped back and responded with a smile "Also feel free to try and attack me! I promise I won't get mad. This is basic steps for us"

"Hal's a good man. I'm glad he made that deal with you so you won't be our enemy anymore!" Joe snapped back. He was getting very testy now. He didn't even acknowledge that Ruber didn't like forcing hal to be his master. That he would rather be dead. Joe actually the world would've been easier without people like Ruber. Hal may have been friendly with him but Joe wasn't going to be. He clashed swords with Ruber as he continued talking, very offended with what Ruber said "Me a child? HAH! That's a laugh out loud joke! I'm a damn good fighter, I'd take you down with one of my 3.5 machine guns in a instant if I wanted" He then slashed a bit more "He is a good fighter you're right but I'm just as good. You're no fighter"

"Yes of course. Basic steps are easy but not to the point of annoyance, I assure you" Hal replied friendly, he heard some arguing but didn't think much of it at the very moment. He then turned to hear the cat more and Hal hissed out in guilt. He felt terrible for that poor cat. He was admittedly going to be distracted feeling bad for the cat if he didn't do something. When brock suggested they should find it and check on it, Hal nodded in agreement. "I completely concur. Let us find that poor creature" He then walked alongside brock to look for the cat. Eventually they found the cat, which was young and tiny and it WAS ok, but it was cornered due to being afraid of the arrow in front of it. Hal breathed in relief but then realized the cat was afraid and responded with kissing noises for the cat to come to him. "Here kitty" Hal replied, still making kissing noises to get it to come over.

[Sir Ruber]

Diamanda glanced at him and chuckled.

"Right. Of course, you're not worried." said Diamanda.

She smirked as Spoony said she'd been practicing.

"Well I have to keep my minions in line after all. And no rebellions or wars at Haganistan that I'm aware of." said Diamanda.

Nella smiled in return.

"Thanks. You know you were always my favorite turtle. Smart and a great fighter." said Nella.

She grinned as they kept sparring. When he swung his staff at her saying to dodge it she nodded. She jumped to the left so he'd miss and smiled glad she'd succeeded. She knew she wouldn't have a warning in a real battle but she felt she was starting to get the hang of this.

Ruber frowned at him.

"Of course he's a good man. He was the King of England after all." said Ruber.

He smirked raising an eyebrow when Ruber said he wouldn't be their enemy anymore.

"Which is it Joe? Am I your enemy or not?" asked Ruber.

He had to admit this man was challenging him just as much as Hal was. He found it invigorating. Then Joke spoke again and he chuckled.

"Right? I insult you and threaten to kill me. That's childish if I ever heard it." said Ruber.

He paused as Joe said he was a good fighter but Ruber wasn't.

"I was a knight at King Arthur's table you fool. I nearly conquered Camelot and I've fought in all 3 armies of this war. What have you done since joining huh? Nothing. I suppose they're lucky you're here at all with how long you waited to show up here." said Ruber.

He hated to admit it but perhaps one day he'd consider this man a friend or at least a rival. He was better than he expected. But it wasn't going to admit that. At least not now.

Brock smiled glad for Hal's help.

"Thank you." said Brock.

He paused walking with Hal to find the cat. Brock paused looking at him as he got an idea. He ran into the house and returned with a couple bowls of cat food and water. He then placed it on the ground.

"Come here little one. We're not going to hurt you. You must be hungry." said Brock.

The cat sniffed at the food and went forward and began eating it. Brock smiled turning to HAl.

"He's alright. A little scared but he'll survive." said Brock.

He smiled glad there wasn't any harm done to the cat. He turned back to Hal.

"Well now that our new friend is safe and sound you want to get back to training?" asked Brock.

[Spoony]

"I'm not!" Spoony objected as quickly as he could. He knew his friend didn't really believe him, but the gamer was a bit stubborn in that regard. The gamer then turned to see Dia's sword go right near him but the gamer let out a laugh of triumph, clashing it back and pushing her away slightly. He then shrugged at Dia's confession of keeping the minions in line, he honestly was not surprised with her, due to her villainous intentions. She then stated that no wars have been made and he raised a eyebrow in pure impressed manner "Nice. You're doing really well then. I didn't really have much happening to me but things here and there tend to piss me off" He chuckled "Like new terrible games" He clashed a little more with Dia's sword

"Oh stop you're making me blush" Donny said, indeed seeming to start blushing. He didn't entirely mind being praised but he didn't mind not being praised either. He smiled as Nella did as he asked her to, and did it successfully by going to the left. Although this wasn't realistic, it was practice so it was bound to be ok in their book. He then was a bit apprehensive when the human woman told him that he had the right to attack her, Donny didn't entirely like it but he knew he had to eventually. The turtle nodded and carefully clashed his bo staff with Nella's sword. This was his most specific attack, it wouldn't hurt her but it would give her a time to pay attention

"You're a untrusted ally at the moment, what I meant to say was that if it wasn't for your deal with Hal, you've been in the dungeon, so be grateful" Joe hissed out, deliberately getting testier with his rival. He also found Ruber's attacking style interesting, and the knight himself actually being really good. Joe nevertheless was too determined to show the changed knight a big fat lesson in manners. The angry general clashed swords more and more with Ruber, not being aware that the sword could hit him instead or something down that line. He growled as Ruber admitted to being a knight worthy of King Arthur's court and even going so far as to challenge Joe on how long he had been here, or how much he's accomplished. The man breathed heavilly then snapped "You don't know anything about me! So just shut up and fight me like the so-called great knight you claim to be!"

Hal turned to Brock at first confused to what he was doing, before the man realized that Brock was feeding the cat and checking to see no harm was being made. Hal smiled, glad the situation was now fixed and they could go back to their training. This little mishap Hal was sure was never supposed to happen again, so the former king felt it best to just go train now. He nodded in complete agreement "Of course. Let us get you started and hurry before someone spots us with the little kitten" He then walked off with Brock beside him. Eventually they made it back to the same place they were before, and Hal regave the staff to Brock and got a staff of his own. Hal smiled and responded "Feel free to attack first, I will not mind in the slightest"

"Okay I will try to focus" Rachel said as tried to knock Eliza with her sword , putting the cold sword blade to Eliza's shoulder and to make her fall and she put her leg on Eliza's leg and aimed her sword to Eliza's stomach. Rachel tried to make Eliza fall by putting again the sword on her back and make her fall again. Rach sighed
