Pete smiled as he kept eating glad to meet his new friends and for the food as well.

"Hi Butters. I'm Pete." said Pete.

He took a few more bites looking at the group and smiled.

"So how long have you guys been here?" asked Pete.

Pinocchio looked up hearing Pete and smiled.

"Almost two months now. Feels longer than that sometimes." said Pinocchio.

He kept eating as they talked glad there were new kids and other members as well.

Jim smiled as the fox said he had a taste fore birds before he left to eat in private. Jim nodded making sure to remember that. He'd get some chicken or something next time for him. That is if the fox didn't catch his own meals. He'd have to ask him about that later. He turned back to BLS hearing and chuckled.

"I'm just hungry. I've been cooking this stuff for awhile and didn't even get a piece of bacon but you're right." said Jim.

He chuckled as the food kept cooking sure they'd be ready to eat in a few minutes. He paused hoping everyone had enough food. He wasn't sure he wanted to cook anymore at least until he ate something. He turned hearing hhis sad tone about his father.

"I hate him and I miss him at the same time. For all I know he's dead or didn't want me anymore. If I hadn't had my mother I'd probably have ended up in an orphanage or jail. I owe her a lot." said Jim.

He paused blushing at the compliment as BLS said his father didn't deserve someone like him.

"Thanks. Sometimes I feel that way. Part of me wants to find him just to get answers. Maybe hit him once or twice. I just wish I knew why he left. Why he didn't even say goodbye." said Jim.

He paused realizing tears had started to form. He rarely talked about his father anymore. Recently it just been with John Silver and now Black Lantern Spoony. He turned away wiping the tears from his eyes with a napkin. He hadn't meant to get so emotional but he always had mixed feelings when he spoke or thought about his father.

"Sorry. Got something in my eye." said Jim.

He paused focusing back on the cooking.

"Thank you. Perhaps you could tell me your sometime. I'd love to hear the story of a god. That is you want to." said La.

She smiled as she kept eating. She'd satisfied his curiosity for the moment. And she was glad things hadn't worked out with her and Tarzan anyway. Then she'd have missed on this army and Loki. She paused realizing she was starting to fall for the Norse god. And it was kind of fitting. After all she was a queen and really a god was over qualified to be with her. She grinned at the idea deciding she would have to find a way to be with him. That is if he wasn't already with someone.

Scar grinned at the thought.

"Excellent. Although I'm not sure when we should do it. If we go too soon they may suspect something especially with the split in the army. Then again perhaps we should disguise ourselves as something else. Like tigers or panthers. If two lions show up they may suspect something since there are two evil lions. But if we show up as other animals we might be able to join them easier." said Scar.

He resumed eating as he talked with her. He paused still worried about the Outlanders and his cubs Nuka, Vitani, and his adopted son Kovu. He hoped they were okay without both of them there.

Duke Nukem paused hearing Cyclonus and growled in annoyance.

"Hey tin can. Why don't you go buzz off? We know you don't eat. Unless you want a knuckle sandwich." said Duke Nukem.

He laughed at his joke even though it was a bad one. He was just in a good mood at the moment.

Ronno kept eating but smirked at Pete "Yeah, what Pinnochio said, it's been a while hasn't it guys?" He was enjoying the food. "Hey pete, remind me to thank Jim again. Seriously this stuff's good" Ronno felt as if he hadn't eaten it years thanks to the delicious taste. Ronno then suddenly felt a itch. His shoulder started itching, which was bad since he was in the middle of swallowing something. "Shoot. Guys, I'm itchy. I think I'm itchy"

Loki caught La's tone very quickly and the way she was smiling gave him more clues. So she had not hit it off since her failure with Tarzan, and since Loki himself was recently single he knew nothing was standing in his way of courting. Perfect. La was interested and so was he. So he smiled back as he continued eating. Now Loki understood why thor enjoyed the stupid midgardian food, because it wasn't really that bad. The eggs were nice, the steak was cooked well, the vegetables were ripe and the bacon wasn't too greasy. It wasn't five-star but it wasn't heinous as he thought it would be. Jim was a pretty good cook.

"Certainly. If you wish I could tell you my origin now. That is once you and I have finished eating" Loki responded kindly. Surprising himself with his casualness. He was sitting regal and taking the silverware as polite as he can be but the way he was talking to La was as if they were old pals. First the boy now her? What was up? He heard BLS mention him and glared in response before calmly smiling again at La.

BLS' pity increased ten times fold as he saw Jim ready to cry. The lantern forgot everything else and offered his hand on Jim's shoulder. The lantern gave a concerned almost affectionate look. He made Jim let go of the equipment and responded "No. You sit down and relax. You have done plenty. I will cook for the rest of us. It is the least I can do after... well...giving Loki his fair share" He see the God glare at him and shrugged at the God, giving a Just kidding type of response. BLS responded "I understand. You need a father. Just as much as a mother. But right now, you need a break. Let me take care of it. I'll insist further if you refuse"

Zira paused, her red eyes clouding in thought.

“Perhaps we should do both,” she mused. “The heroes may be smarter than we give them credit for. You’re right that they would be suspicious of us should we appear too soon, and if we disguised ourselves as other animals, it would help to… throw them off our scent, so to speak.”

The words “tiger” and “panther” held no real meaning to Zira – she assumed that they were creatures similar to herself and Scar, but couldn’t recall ever seeing one with her own eyes. She was about to ask her mate about it when she noticed he had stopped eating and seemed to be lost in his thoughts. Concern mounted within her.

“Is something wrong?”

Pinocchio grinned as he kept eating. He stopped for a moment and spoke.

"I'm ok. I am glad there are more kids here though. I mean the adults are okay but some of them seem like they don't know how to have fun. Although don't tell them I said that." said Pinocchio.

He then nodded to Ronno.

"I think he knows by now with everyone else praising him. But yeah. I want to go thank him to. He should cook every day." said Pinocchio.

He grinned as he resumed eating pausing to hear Ronno say he was itching.

"Where? Maybe I can get it for you? It is harder to scratch with hooves than hands after all." said Pinocchio.

Pete chuckled listening to them.

"I'm glad you guys are here too. And don't worry. I won't say a word to them." said Pete.

He nodded agreeing with Ronno.

"Yeah. This food tastes great. I gotta remember to thank him too." said Pete.

La smiled as they kept talking. He certainly was an interesting man an attractive too. And he had power. She was glad she wouldn't be dating someone who'd tried to use her for just her beauty or her magic. This would be fun to see how this went. La paused seeing she was finished as she listened to him.

"Sure. You're a god, right? I always thought gods were supposed to be good. I mean I did hear that usually, Ares the Greek God of War or Hades the God of Death are evil. And he's one example." said La.

She pointed to Hades who was sitting among the group and chuckled.

"But I thought all the Norse gods were good. But I suppose my information could be wrong. I'd love to hear your story anyway." said La.

Jim paused as BLS said he'd done plenty and he smiled.

"I got really close with Mom working at the Benbow Inn helping cook meals. Cooking just reminds me of her. I don't mind. Besides, I've got nothing else to do." said Jim.

He paused realizing BLS wasn't going to take no for an answer. He sighed but realized most of the seats were taken anyway so he just stood to the side.

"Fine. I won't cook anymore. Just don't burn it." teased Jim.

Scar nodded listening to her.

"You are right. We should disguise ourselves as something other than lions to make them more at ease." said Scar.

He paused realizing she had seen him drifting off and he sighed.

"I'm just missing the cubs. I even miss Nuka." said Scar.

He chuckled at the thought.

"I just hope they're alright without us. At least the other Outlanders were there. If they were stuck with just Nuka then I'd be really worried." said Scar.

He sighed and resumed eating.

Ronno looked around and realized the itch was on his back. Ronno responded "It's on my back, yeah I think you should get it" The deer was focused completely on his itch that he didn't notice another human boy coming around. The human boy, Mowgli, didn't pay attention to the scene either and went right to Ask Thatguy and Nella. Like Pete, he was kind of shy but he was more hungry than shy so he went right towards them as quickly as possible. Mowgli breathed and responded "Um hi sir and madame. I don't have a place to stay and I need one. Can I crash here? My name's mowgli by the wa---Oh jeez" At the sound of that, Kaa came by also and hissed right at the boy. Kaa went over to the leaders and responded "This child is Mowgli. The one I told you not to long ago about" Mowgli turned to Ask Thatguy and Nella in nervousness as Kaa slithered over to him dangerously

(OCC: LOL yep. You better stop Kaa from choking the hell out of mowgli. Right now. He's in trouble)

BLS was quickly satisfied and smirked at Jim's joke. He quickly went right to work cooking everything they had. Bacon, eggs, vegetables, meat and other items. BLS made sure to make everything right and he smiled to Jim calmly. The lantern felt bad for bringing his past up so he hoped he was making it up to the human boy. BLS responded kindly "Thank you. I'll make sure to not burn anything"

Loki was smiling at the mention of being a god. If there was one thing he was proud of it was being a god. A god of lies and mischief, he was damn good at what his title suggested. He cringed at the fact that he was supposedly a norse god that was good. La was unfortunately way off with that one. He wasn't "good" he was considered a monster, a really bad monster. Nevertheless he started to talk "I am indeed a god, a norse god since the humans believe in many gods, some believe in only one while others believe in thousands. We have disappeared for a while before studies from the minor intelligent mortals came across of us" Loki wasn't entirely sure he should confess his whole life just yet. She had no idea who he was so maybe he should've kept it that way. Something about her though caused so much interest that he thought it was worth a shot. He would tell about the jotunn adoption but not show her his jotunn form. That would work.

He then began, enough for her to hear but no-one else "Well I was born a jotunn, a race that the aseir, the main spirit of us norse gods, despise. My father Laufey abandoned me as a infant due to my small size. I was adopted by Odin, who found me in the cold, and apparently left to die. He gave me a whole new appearance, which is the one you see me in now, and raised me as his own. Never telling me of my true parentage" Loki hated Odin with every fiber of his being, especially since Odin lied to him and assumed him as a stolen relic. He continued slight contempt in his voice "He always treated me as second best. If it weren't for my mother Frigga, I would have been very alone. Thor and his friends had me around but the only one who gave me kindness was Thor, since he was raised as my older brother" He did hate Thor but somehow his tone was softer when mentioning him. Say what he will but Thor DID treat him with love before as children and young adults, it was all over now despite the thunder god's insistence otherwise. Frigga on the other hand was full of light tone when Loki mentioned her. "While I hate Thor and Odin, Frigga is someone I still consider family" He admitted out loud before continuing "But I fear after what happened to me and what I did she may not feel the same. Though I am not sure" It was true. Frigga did accept him and love him wholeheartedly but Loki feared that she would hate him forever because of his attempts with earth.

He continued on with his story "When Thor grew up he was supposed to be king of Asgard. The land where I was raised in. But I worried he would be too arrogant to properly rule Asgard so I hired frost giants to steal the casket to see how he would react. Though they were killed off, Thor wanted to go to Jotunheim to teach them a lesson, I will admit that is what I wanted but it was for Thor to not be king and Odin to understand his favorite son was not perfect" Loki's gaze grew bitter as he spoke "However Odin told him no but Thor, stubborn as he is, wanted to do it anyway. He convinced me to come along, which was something I didn't expect and wasn't part of my plan to show Thor off as arrogant but I went anyway. His foolish friends went with us, because they insisted" He had huge contempt over all three, especially Volstagg, gods almighty he hated that hunger-driven, insulting idiot. Loki then kept going "We went to Jotunheim, we went to attack but I knew better and told Thor to stop and let us go home. After more assurance from me, he let in only to fight when one of the frost giants insulted him. We fought and I got attacked, leading my arm to turn blue instead of burning it" He then added "You see jotun blood is a blue creature with red eyes and... well monstrous features"

He breathed, letting that out of the way, and continued to talk "Well after the fight with the frost giants, Thor angered Odin and got banished from Asgard as a result. I admit that was not a part of my plan and I did regret banishing him but I tried to rescue us from getting killed. His friends got angry at me for doing so, because the golden son was banished as a result so I went to Odin to confront him about what happened to me at Jotunheim. I turned blue in front of him because I touched the casket the frost giants were obsessed over, and learned of my adoption. As a result of my anger of learning this, he fell into a odinsleep which is a place of unconsciousness to recharge his physical energy and since Thor was banished the throne was left to me"

He sighed, continuing on "To protect the throne and Asgard from the threatening war Jotunheim had upon me I went to convince Laufey to kill Odin, which in turn I would kill him while he was distracted, and since Thor's friends went to get Thor back despite me telling them otherwise, I had no choice but to distract them with Odin's weapon the destroyer. Thor defeated it while I handled Laufey, I killed laufey myself so the people of asgard could assume the frost giants attacked first and I would attack the entire race without hesitation from the people. Thor however returned and tried to stop me. Resulting in breaking the bridge between earth and Asgard. I was tossed into the abyss by my so-called brother and transported to earth by working for the chitauri" That was a lie. He let go due to Odin telling him disapproval. But La didn't need to know that. All she had to know was his past and reasons for genocide. He then responded "Then thor and his earthling group of friends known as the avengers came after me because I tried to take over new york for the chitauri, I was defeated sent to asgard prison, but I escaped and now here I am"

Once he finished he went to La for any response. Any one. He hoped that she would respond to him in approval of some kind.

Pinocchio nodded itching Ronno's back eager to help his friend.

"Did I get it?" asked Pinocchio still itching his back.

Pete looked up as Mowgli walked in.

"Hey Mowgli. Come join us. You're welcome to stay. I just got here today myself." said Pete.

Dark Nella nodded as Pete offered Mowgli to stay.

"Pete's right. Your welcome to stay." said Dark Nella.

She paused turning to Kaa standing between him and Mowgli.

"Sorry Kaa. But Mowgli's off the menu. You'll eat what we give you or you can catch something to eat in the woods. He's one of us so he's under our protection." said Dark Nella.

Jim grinned as he took a seat at the counter and yet couldn't help stare at BLS as he cooked.

"I'm sure you won't." said Jim.

He paused looking away when saw BLS caught him staring. He tried not to blush as he turned away. He had crushes before but he had gotten over them. And well he didn't have to live with them so that helped. But now he had to live with him. Well at least they weren't roommates. Unless they decided to rearrange the rooms. But what were the chances of that? He paused glancing at BLs again the smell of the sizzling food just make his stomach gurgle as he blushed. He decided to share his story having nothing else to do and it'd keep his mind off his hunger.

"This is like the second biggest adventure I've ever been on. The last one I road in a space ship to find a planet filled with treasure the space pirate Flynt had hidden. It started off with a pirate coming into our inn. He died but we had to flee and our home was burned down. I left with a good friend Doctor Dopplar to find Treasure Planet fabled to have the loot of 1,000 worlds. But our crew mutinied after killing the first mate. The captain, Dopplar, and myself fled to Treasure Planet but we were caught and eventually found the treasure.

Unfortunately it was booby trapped and most of the treasure and the crew were lost when the planet blew up. The captain, the doctor, and i escaped with a few of the crew. Thew few survivors were taken to jail except my friend John Silver. He was able to save some of the treasure and gave it to me when he fled the ship to avoid jail time. I used it to repair my home and then I get sent here. I just home my mom's ok running the Benbow II without me." said Jim.

He paused glancing at BLs curiously.

"So have you been on any adventures or had crazy things happen to you before this war?" asked Jim.

La listened to his tale impressed with his story.

"You birth family abandoned you, and then you were taken in by a new one. But then they betrayed you as well. You overcame a lot thanks to both of your families rejecting or betraying you. And you were so close to your goals. Just like me. We even both had armies to help us and we both still failed. I hope we have better luck with this army." said La.

She paused as if thinking of her own past.

"I suppose I was lucky my parents died and I abandoned my tribe. I was once a Waziri shaman before I obtained my powers and became immortal. Well unless my staff is destroyed. Although I'm not sure if that matters now since I died and came back to life." said La.

She'd have to ask Dark Nella or Hades to find a different way to keep her immortality not wanting it to be connected to something like her staff that she could recreate if she was still alive.

Zira beamed when Scar complimented her plan, although some of her initial enthusiasm faded when her mate answered her question. Though she hadn’t said as much since she joined this army, the red-eyed lioness had been missing her children as well.

“I know what you mean.” She sighed, suddenly unhappy. Zira had grown used to having the cubs around and their absence was more than a little jarring. Even Nuka, who usually managed to annoy his mother to no end, would have been welcome.

“I’m sure they’re all right,” she tried to reassure Scar. “It’s like you told me when I first came here: Vitani and Kovu are with the others. They’ll be able to take care of them; Nuka as well.”

Despite her words, she could feel worry creeping into her heart.

The machine groaned a small bit as he settled down.

The she-beast hunkered back down into her coiled position.

Butters took a napkin and tucked it into the collar of his shirt, looking like a total dork. He decided to keep quiet and focus primarily on breakfast. When he didn't have anything in mind, he usually kept to himself. Sometimes, when he did speak, he was laughed at - although the blond boy often didn't understand why. Once he'd finished his plate, he leaned back and looked up at the ceiling for a second.
