Critic was relieved when Gene arrived, even more so with a portal for them to escape. He saw Mewtwo go away to get a better view of the fight and felt a strange sense of duty to stay longer to prevent anyone from getting hurt. He was unaware of Jasmine's capture but was aware that people were hustling and bustling enough to get away. The children were taken away and some of the prisoners were gone with their proper people but the leader knew they weren't done quite yet. He saw Harvey Finevoice also determined to stay, though it could be argued that Linkara was still here. Regardless the leader of this army realized they had some way to go, so he went over to Harvey and responded "I'll stick around here to let the others go by, if anything gets screwy just go alright?" He then started to shoot beside the singer

Morpheus kissed Nani back with a hint of urgancy, and was worried that the portal wouldn't be real but it turned out it was. The man turned to the others and responded to Linkara "My friend, we must go! It's too late for us! We can't stay!" He then ran after Nani, dodging any attack aimed right at him, even DH's blasts. He wasn't going to stay, especially since Nani was back and he just had her in his clutches. Not in the possessive way of course, just as his love, and there was nothing to make him stay in this battle when the thing he needed was already in the portal. So he went in, not looking back

Spoony turned to see Gene and the man let out a slight sigh of relief. Finally. Backup, let alone someone who can help him not wear out Ma-ti's magic. Gene activating a portal made it even better, as seen with people escaping and getting in. He was about to go teach Mystomon a lesson before leaving but Goggles stopped him to say that she was a distraction now, and that all she wanted was for him to come back in one piece. He was about to promise that but Goggles kissed him and Spoony's focus was gone, only focused on kissing her and it was long but so worth it. He put his head to hers before she ran off, making Spoony determined to make his fight quick but painful on Mystomon's end. He smirked to the vampire, dodging the blast and shouting "Heart!" Then he turned to Gene and responded "Thanks for the help there ducky, now let's get going!" He then turned to Linkara who was backing up with snob to the portal and shouted "Linkara! I'm gonna cover you, just get to the portal!"

"That's what I'm trying to do!" Linkara shouted as he heard Spoony's command. Snob was in pain and starting to lose consciousness, he hoped no, prayed that Snob wouldn't lose it in the middle of the battle, with so much going on. Linkara was losing patience as well as energy, he knew it wasn't worth staying any longer, let alone fight. Linkara blasted his gun a bit more then looked to Snob, who was looking a bit tired "Damnit. We have to get you help and get the hell out of here!" He then ran a bit faster, turning his back to DH and going through the portal, with Snob with him

Ask Thatguy wasn't used for his slave to give him orders but due to the situation, it was needed. Seeing Mechakara and Seven leave was a relief, now that he knew Mechakara was under a spell, it meant the chance of seven and a few others being under one also. So BLS spoke the truth and it left less questions. Ask Thatguy held BLS' shoulder and responded "Mano is correct. We have to leave. It's too chaotic by this point and this is coming from a guy who likes chaos" He shrugged but looked to Jim, seeing his arm was dislocated and the boy knocked out but alive. He turned to BLS and sighed "Also, you're right about Mechakara, he's brainwashed. He seemed to have a glow in his eyes, then he spoke to me then attacked me"

BLS was near Jim as his attack with Seven succeeded. The boy was unconscious and the lantern couldn't help but worry. It was scary to have his friend in danger just like before with Mechakara during the beginning of 2012. BLS turned to see Mano ask him about his ring and he nodded "I do. Here we shall leave with my ring. Let us go now" He then turned to ATG who confirmed his fears of mechakara being brainwashed. His friend, best friend one could argue, was forced to fight him and ATG. It set the lantern to go completely insane with rage. He then made his ring glow and transport himself, ATG and Mano to the center room of the house of doom, while Jim was at the medical bay in said house

A sad look was shown on Olive's face when Pete questioned his orphan times, the kid grunted with a hint of annoyance. His time as a orphan were rough "Yeah. I was but you don't have to be anymore. I can help, trust me" He then allowed Pete to turn and hug him, despite the questions he was given. Olive knew he had to help this kid and the gentle requests Pete made gave Olive a better image on what to do for Pete. "I mean it pete. I'll get my dad to help and get you a home. We can be friends, nobody asked you to be a prisoner. Like I said it's only business" He then shrugged at Pete's thanks "No problem. Now come on, we gotta get you out of the battle"

Mewtwo continued to hover overhead a few meters up. He felt some relief come over him once he saw the creature that looked like a half-dignified psyduck come a teleport a few away. While some still remained, the Pokemon felt that there battles that remained were none of his concern. He tilted his head up, considering leaving right then.

Mano smiled glad they agreed as the portal opened.

"Then let's go master. Before they retaliate or reinforcements arrive." said Mano.

When the portal opened thanks to BLs he nodded. He knew he would get punished for this already. But for now he was glad everyone in their army was at least alive. He looked back at the spot where Ma-Ti had died. He was grateful it wasn't him. Mano then stepped into the portal after the others.

Harvey paused and shook his head.

"Sorry Critic. But you're one of the leaders. I'm going to make sure you get back before me. Besides Nostalgia Chick would probably kill me if something happened to you." said Harvey.

He chuckled. He was kidding. Although Nostalgia Chick wasn't one you wanted to cross. He fired at DH and Myotismon calling out to Spoony.

"Spoony. It's time to go. You got Goggles back. Don't make me tell her you got yourself killed or captured. We don't need any more losses." said Harvey.

Gene flew overhead zapping Myotismon sending him crashing into DH and Malachie as the three ending up in a pile on the ground.

"Come on. There's only the five of us left. Everyone else made it back to our house. We don't need to keep fighting this battle." said Gene.

Myotismon glared at Spoony dodging his attack. Then he was taken by surprise as Gene hit him as he went crashing intoi Malachite and DH.

"That brat's not going to get away with this." said Myotismon.

He struggled to get up.

Malachite frowned as Myotismon was knocked him into and DH as they fell over.

"Get up you fool." said Malachite.

He frowned realizing most of the group was gone. There was only members of Critic's army left now.

"I will not let you fools escape." said Malachite.

DH got to his feet after being knocked over by Myotismon. He was annoyed most of the others had escaped through two portals. He glared at Myotismon annoyed.

"I can't believe we're losing. Damn it. Fine. At least I can take out Critic. One less leader to worry about." said DH.

He chuckled and threw a blast at Critic.

Harvey gasped seeing the blast come.

"Critic! Look out!" said Harvey.

He shoved Critic away towards Spoony as the blast hit Harvey on his left shoulder as he stumbled backwards into the portal.

Pete looked at him.

"Before Elliot I never had a friend. And before Nora, Paul, and Lampy I never had a family. I guess I've been so lonely for so long. Part of me feared this would happen. That I'd be all alone again." said Pete.

He paused as he said he meant as Pete looked at him sadly. People had made promises to him before and they'd been broken.

"I want to believe you. But people have used me, lied to me, and broken their promises to me before. How do I know you'll be any different?" asked Pete.

Olive understood that Pete needed proof of how to trust him, many have lied to Olive himself during the streets and he knew he had a hard time trusting too. Olive breathed, thinking over what Pete told him and what Pete asked from him. He was thinking of admitting the most secret thing ever. The most giving thing ever. He knew it was hard but Pete needed to believe him. Olive got his locket and took it off, putting it on Pete and responding calmly "This is my proof" He then responded pointing to the locket "That has a picture of my mom in there, and I've never taken it off for anyone unless I was going to get it back" He sighed, tears threatening to form "I don't trust anyone, but you now, to wear it. I'll come back because you have something with you that's mine" He looked at the locket and showed the picture of his mother to Pete "My mom would think you'd look cute in it anyway"

Critic was touched that Harvey was caring more about him then anything else. He chuckled at Harvey's joke even though that might of been true anyway and kept blasting while trying to get into the portal. He was about to get in before Harvey called him to watch out, suddenly Harvey threw him out of the way near Spoony, causing Harvey to get shot. It caused a fear in critic that Harvey was going to need tons of help and Critic just grabbed Spoony, too upset to do anything anymore. Critic then turned to Spoony "Gene's right. Let's get out of here! NOW!" He then jumped into the portal

Spoony blasted more and more at both DH and Mystomon but suddenly a blast was near Critic. He was about to say something when Harvey pushed the leader into him and both men witnessed his leave into the portal. Spoony didn't say anything as he was dragged along by his leader and shouted to leave. Spoony blasted a bit more before shouting "Come on Gene! You're right! We're out of here!" He smiled cockily at the remaining villains and jumped into the portal, feeling ever so victorious
