[Nostalgia Chick]

(ooc: February 13th. mid-morning. intro thread for new arrivals. open to everyone on critic's side. And I suck at titles. xd)

Nostalgia Chick was sitting on the porch chatting with Nella and Elisa about her next video she was going to film. With technology from Comicron-1 and other gadgets, they could make a room look however they wanted so viewers would see them at their homes instead of at Critic's house. They'd been using it the past month or so without anyone catching it.

"So I already released a couple commentaries of me and Todd talking about the sequel videos I did. Thankfully he was available to talk with me on Skype for it since he couldn't make it here. And I'm almost done with my top 10 hot animated guys list from facebook and twitter poll I did. I was surprised by some of the choices. But after that I was thinking of doing Song of the South to have a couple of videos for February." said Nostalgia Chick.

She paused feeling guilty for thinking about her videos when they still had friends missing. She was glad Ace, Grimhilde, and Freckles had escaped. Hopefully, Snob's plan would work and the others would be back home soon. Or they'd get some captives and make a trade.

"Yeah. Those sound good. I'm just glad to be back. How did you explain why I was gone for so long?" said Nella.

Elisa and Chick pause glancing at her.

"What?" asked Nella.

"We kind of made a hologram of you to use in our videos. Linkara and Linksano helped us out with that." said Chick.

"You used a hologram?" asked Nella.

"But don't worry. Once we got you back we deactivated her. We didn't need her anymore now that we got you back." said Elisa.

"I guess that makes sense. I'm just glad to be back with you guys. But don't replace me with HoloNella again. You got that?" said Nella.

Chick and Elisa nodded.

"Never again." said Chick.

Redhead Russian strolled on up towards the Critic's home, blue eyes scanning it thoroughly. OK, something was obviously wrong. First off, she was in a totally different country last time she checked. Second, everything seemed excessively different. These interesting devices called 'cell phones' appeared to be extremely popular, for one thing. Anya never heard of such a thing. What else had she never heard of? Quite a few things, apparently. Too many to list. She saw two males making there way over there as well, and couldn't help but feel suspicious. Both were loud and Anya was already frustrated with them. Perhaps they had some idea of where she was? It wouldn't hurt to ask. "Hey! What are you two doing over here?" Anya approached the males, crossing her arms as she waited for a response.

"Um... figuring out where we actually are?" The older of the two males spoke up. Denmark was his name, and he looked down at Anya. She wasn't short, no, but the Dane was taller than her. It was a bit of a requirement to look down at her. "I think the question is what are you doing here?"

"The same thing as you, as fate would have it." Funny, how when things are going right and they fall apart once again. Anya was with Dimitri and Pooka from her last memory. Where were they now?

"Well you arrived right on time! I was just gonna ask those ladies up on the porch if they had any idea where we are. I mean, we're obviously at my place, but you know, might be good to know exactly where," the younger male piped up. America was his name, and he was full of energy. Seeing no other options, Anya sighed and decided to accompany the foreign males.

"Alright. Let's go then. We all look out of place, clearly we're from different ethnic backgrounds, this won't look suspicious or odd at all. I don't have much of a choice." Anya instantly became a part of this duo, creating a trio as they approached another trio on the porch.

"Hey dudes, you have any idea on where I am?" America had taken charge and decided he was going to be the spokesperson of the group. This could only end well.

The hound had been wandering through the suburban neighborhood, frigid late winter air looming. "Might interesting place." Cash commented as he walked, observing the much more knit together houses and buildings. "Still, where the heck am Ah?

The canine continued to walk, lost in his realm of thoughts. How did he get here? Why was here? The typical questions that most had thought when they first found themselves here. He had his own worries though, what about his fans back home, would they miss him of course they would! All the dog needed to do was find someone who was able to help him, simple as that. Without even trying, the hound picked up a scent as his ears perked up. Humans, that's exactly what it smelled and sounded like. Cash followed the sounds and smells as he eventually found himself at the source of the commotion, a group full of humans. Maybe they could help him.

Cash cleared his throat as he strolled up the porch casually and calmly. "Hello there, how y'all doin' this fine morning?" He asked, expecting the humans to hear his barks instead of his actual voice.

Like the hound dude before him, Lampy had surprised himself when he had awaken in the strange new world. Far from his spot on the Master's nightstand where he usually stood. Oh no, I hope he didn't throw me out!"Lampy thought, recalling the first time his bulb burned out. He thought he was done for. 86'd, and off to the showers, that was until the Master put in a brand new bulb, so that he could continue shining his light for him. "No, the Master would never do that." The gooseneck lamp said as he hopped down the street. "Besides, if the Master really did throw us out, Toaster, Radio, Kirby and Blanky would be here too." He commented n a light hearted manner as he continued to hop, before hearing voices come from the nearby house. The first ones he had heard since arriving.

Slowly and gingerly, Lampy took a few hops beside the porch so that he could hear the voices more closely yet stay out of sight. He then peeked his head over to see the speakers, a group of humans and a dog. Great, if they saw a living, breathing lamp he was sunk. Unrelatedly, Lampy remembered seeing that none of the other appliances he encountered came to life, there weren't no people around, so that did shock him. Hoping he wouldn't get noticed Lampy, continued to eavesdrop on their conversation, until a few snowflakes landed on the edge of his snout.

"Aaah-Chooo!'

There it was, he was over. In panic, the lamp did what he did when all humans were around. Become still and inanimate, surely they didn't expect a lamp to sneeze, right?

Chick, Nella, and Elisa turned as a few new arrivals arrived.

"Anya's here?" said Chick.

"Be nice." said Nella.

Chick nodded. It wasn't Anya's fault she's from a movie that rewrote history. She'd be nice. She didn't have to like her film but maybe she could grow to like her. Stranger things had happened inthis war.

Elisa turned smiling at the other new arrivals. A boy, a dog, and was that a lamp? Wait. That was Lampy from the Brave Little Toaster. And the dog was from Fox and the Hound sequel. She didn't recognize the boy but she guessed he was from an anime cartoon she hadn't seen. JO or Marzgurl would probably recognize him for sure. When the dog spoke she nodded used to it by now with other talking animals here.

"We're doing fine. It's nice to meet you. Welcome." said Elisa.

Nella turned smiling at America and Anya.

"Welcome. We're in the middle of a war. People have been pulled from other worlds into this one to participate in it. This is our base. And Nostalgia Chick's one of our leaders." said Nella.

Chick smiled at the group.

"What she said. Hello. Lampy you can get up if you want. We know you're alive. I've seen your movies a lot." said Chick.

Anya raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms against her chest. It appeared that at least one of these women knew who she was. Probably not the best of signs. She was at a disadvantage, for she knew not one of these people. She contemplated looking into it, but decided against it. There was a talking dog, and... a living lamp? Ok, she was clearly going crazy. Or hearing things. She was about to respond to Nella, but the American male beat her to the punch.

"A war? Dude, I'm so in! You're looking at a genuine, awesome hero right here," America said, naturally projecting his voice a bit too much. No longer caring about where he was, Alfred was quickly interested in participating in a war. He was always looking for an opportunity to be the big hero. This was probably going to be one of those opportunities. The Dane on the other hand, rolled his eyes at America.

"Wait, we've been pulled from different worlds, to this one specifically to participate in a war? What world are we in, exactly?" Denmark piped up. "And your friend over there must have had a few drinks too many, because even I know lamps aren't alive, and I'll admit I have been known to have one too many drinks."

[trufflehunter]

A long striped nose poked its self around the corner. Followed by the head, then the rest of the body of Trufflehunter, the badger had actually been in this new strange world for quite some time, five hours to be excat. He had rumaged around for food and made himself a little make-shift shelter in the grass of a small community park.
The old narnian had picked up the scent from the gathering outside critic's house. Naturally unafraid of humans and dogs, (as the best kings had and queens had been human, and dogs were old narnian beasts.) He plodded resolutley up to the garden, and stood up on his rear-paws to look over the fence. (He was naturally bigger than other badgers of course.) He trotted up to the dog and raised a paw in greeting.
"How do you do, my name's Trufflehunter, knight of the order of the lion. Do you by any chance have any idead where we are at all?"

[Nostalgia Chick]

Chick smiled greeting the new members.

"Glad to have you aboard." said Chick smiling at America.

She turned to Denmark who asked about the world.

"This world is a normal world. It's not used to magic, battles between heroes and villains on a large scale. We try to keep this war a secret and we've done a great job so far. But we hope to end this quickly before word gets out. If the army or military showed up they wouldn't be able to stop them. We're the world's only hope. And we know about your worlds because everyone who's arrived here from another world is a tv show, movie, or a book in our world. And we're glad to have all the help we can get here." said Chick.

Nella nodded.

"Yeah. Welcome aboard. I'm Nella." said Nella.

"Hello. I'm Elisa welcome everyone." said Elisa.

She paused glancing to Denmark as she shook her head.

"No. That lamp's alive. He's from a movie Brave Little Toaster where appliances are alive but keep that a secret from humans. Kind like Toy Story only with appliances instead of toys." said Elisa.

"He hasn't seen either of those movies. But yeah you get can get up if want Lampy. We're all friends here." said Chick.

She paused as Trufflehunter arrived and smiled.

"I'm afraid you were pulled to our world like many others. Some good, and some evil. A war has broken out between two armies to take over this world." said Chick.

She pauses glancing at Anya, America, Denmark, and Trufflehunter.

"If any of you wish to not fight you don't have to. We have people here who help in other ways as medics or cooks. But you don't have to do anything either. This is meant to be a safe haven where we all can be safe from the battles of the war. But we'd welcome any help you give us." said Chick.

"Huh? Alive?" The gooseneck lamp questioned gingerly poking his head out hiding. How could a human know he was alive? And a movie, what movie? He had never acted a day in his life. Well, unless becoming nonexistent around people counted as an effort. Even the spiky haired Dane had confirmed it for them. Still confused to what was going on the lamp continued to listen the Chick had explained the whole situation with fictional characters being pulled from their reality into the real world. It took him a brief while to catch on but, when he did a bulb went off. (Not literally of course.)

"Oh, uh okay then." Lampy said nervously as he slowly hopped out of hiding. "Sorry, this is kinda weird for me I've never talked with humans before." He rubbed the back to his head nervously with his cord.

Cash smiled at the group as they introduced himself. "Well, nice to meet both of ya. A'hm Cash." He flashed a pearly grin before glancing at the fellow newcomers. A loud mouthed American who claimed to be a hero, a Russian woman, a Dane, a talking lamp and badger. Hmm, wonder what kinda strange world those folks came from." He told himself mentally, shrugging it off before catching on the motives of the Chick and Elisa. "A war, huh? Sorry Ah don't do fighting, I can sing if that's what ya want." He offered with a light chuckle. "But really, Ah might have to think about it. I just wanna head home more than anything else." He wagged his tail, hoping that thse kindly folk could possibly help him.

ZAP!

It had happened again. "This is like bajilleinth this has happened!" The raven haired girl thought frustrated after disappearing for the briefest nanosecond a reappearing a few feet in a different direction. It was indeed a strange notion, ever since she had learned how to drive Vanellope had her glitch under control and used it as a teleportation method. But ever since she woke up in Chicago, it seemed like she was glitching every other minute or so. "What's wrong with me?" She asked out loud as she continued to walk, lost in every way possible.

One minute she had been sleeping in her castle back in the game of Sugar Rush, the next in the winter world that was far away from the cheery nature of her game. Aside from visiting other games after becoming the princess of Sugar Rush again, the girl had never really explored the outside world. In a sense, she had no clue what was going or what to do. "Well, I'm going to find a way back home, that's what I'm gonna do." She spoke determined, before hearing voices not too far away and decided to follow them as a clue. She ducked behind a nearby tree as she saw people talking, including a badger, dog and lamp. But the glitch came from a world where there was living candy so talking animals and objects wasn't too much if a stretch.

The girl continued to watch from a distance, preparing to make her move; only for her pixlexia to do it for her. "Whoa!" She exclaimed before she realized she was on the porch with the others. "Uh, hi?" She spoke with a sheepish smile, feeling rather strange about her sudden glitch.

[trufflehunter]

Trufflehunter listened intently to the girl as she explained the different worlds and how they all came from different ones.
"I can't say I'm surprised really, I come from a world where different worlds and universes are a common thing. I even witnessed my four kings and queens going from mine to theirs. Although I must say, being a media character is rather surprising."
He listened again, this time to the war part. At the notion of not having to do anything, he looked rather taken aback. "Why, of course I'll be helping, can't expect a beast to do nothing, I'm not the best fighter but I'm better than nothing, I'm also a rather good planner. I shall most certainly be helping."
Whatever he may have said next would never be known. For at that moment, Vanellope flashed in. Giving a startled 'yelp' and jumping a little of the ground. After calming down a little, he addressed the glitch girl. "Phew, well no one can say that wasn't a dramatic entrance, pleased to meet you and all that, but how did you do that? Forgive me if I'm seeming rude, just it's rather intriguing."

[Nostalgia Critic]

(OCC: Just Critic and Wreck-It-Ralph for now kay?)

Critic was tired, but not too tired. It was just a typical morning. His attitude of fatigue changed when suddenly MANY people arrived. A badger, a little girl, a american-looking man, a talking lamp, a woman who did look very familiar to Critic. Critic went over to Chick and smirked to her "Well then, seems like we got a lot of people this time" He then turned to them and responded "Hey new people. I'm the nostalgia critic I see you met Nostalgia Chick"

"Oh my gosh! Kid!" Ralph said as he burst, not litterally burst, into the main room all the newcomers were in. He noticed her glitching but assumed it as normal as a big grin spread across his face. He went over to Vanellope excitedly, accidently ignoring the newcomers that were also there and began to freak out. He protectively responded "Vanellope! I was so worried about ya! Are you ok? How'd you get here?!"

The blonde Dane let those words sink in a bit. He was from a show, there were living appliances, talking animals(to be fair, he was already used to those from back home) and to top it all off, there was some war that America's military(alright, so maybe it was every nation's military, but Denmark just assumed it was only America's) couldn't take care of. Denmark couldn't forget that he was also missing Iceland, so that was the icing on the 'What is going on here' cake. The lamp was even genuinely alive! Considering it seemed like he didn't have much of a choic, he decided he'd help out. "Alright, alright, where do I sign up? Because I can't go home, can I?" He jumped slightly at Vanellope's arrival, not expecting someone to show up quite so... dramatically. Before he had a chance to acknowledge her presence, a man with some seriously large hands seemed to recognize her. It was best not get in the way of those giant hands.

"Dude, you gotta let me stick around! I'm an awesome fighter! In case you missed out earlier, I'm a genuine hero," Alfred spoke up once again, loud as ever when Critic had made his way to the scene. Plus, who wouldn't want to hang out with talking animals and a talking lamp for crying out loud? It seemed too good of an opportunity for America to pass up.

Anya, on the other hand, wasn't quite so eager or excited to join an army. She wasn't sure what to make of it all. The badger was speaking, the dog was talking, and the lamp was talking. Not exactly the best mix. "Don't worry about it, lamp. I haven't been talking to lamps ever in my life," she decided to address the lamp first. When the dog spoke up, she couldn't help but want to go home too. "I'll... consider it, but can you get me a boat or something to get home? Just in case?"

((*totally didn't JUST remember she had Radio*))

The old tube radio had been trying to stick pretty far away from the open street and would dive for the nearest ally if he could, otherwise, he was forced to idle right in the street. Luckily, not one was interested in a free radio, and he had managed to get pretty far into the city. Radio wasn't exactly sure how he got to where he was. Of course he had his own theory, that gradually became more and more epic as his allowed his imagine to run wild with the story. Personally, he was convinced that he somehow must of fallen out of the window, been picked up by some sort of car, only to fall out, far, far away from the Master. The fact that he might have been abandoned only crossed his mind for a moment, before he managed to assure himself that his Master was far to kind to do such a thing. What Radio wasn't sure of was if he was a lone hero in this story. Where Toaster, Blanket, Lampy and Kriby all on this adventure with him, somewhere in the city? Did they all fall out the window? Strange and fantastc circumstances where always possable. Even reality could out-weird the stories Radio liked to create.

Radio eventually found himself confronted with a scene that he simply could not resist making inner comentary on. Humans, animals and - wait? Lampy? The red electronic device dove for the alley, where the humans wouldn't see him sprint up close to the house. Radio appeared only seconds later, peeking slowly from a side of the gate. What was that doopy lamp up to? He was more than surprized to find that the humans weren't - well, surprized. Wasn't a talking lamp a bit shattering to their ideas of reality? At all? In a state of shock and annoyance, even he forgot the code of secrecy.

"Lampy, what in the name of-" Came a harsh whisper through the appliance's speakers.

Radio stopped himself suddenly and froze, realizing that he was close enough to the humans to have been heard. He pretended like that didn't just happen. Hey, at least it would make sense for HIM to make noise! He might just get away with that outburst. The loudmouth was quite convinced he was making the responsable move and pretending to inanimate. Though he doubted he'd be able to cover himself up after Lampy just decided to talk to humans. What a mess. Jeez.

Vanellope soon turned to face a badger, who seemed quite intrigued by her glitching abilities. "Oh, uh thanks I guess." She replied to Trufflehunter. "It's sort of in my programming to glitch like this." She admitted placing one hand over her arm. True she had become less insecure about her glitching status since meeting Ralph and saving the arcade, but she wasn't too sure how others may have felt about it.

But before much else could happen a familiar large man had bursted onto the front porch, anxiously waiting to reunite with her. "Ralph?" The glitch questioned, voice starting off with initial disbelief and then into pure joy. "Ralph! I can't believe your here too!" Vanellope exclaimed as she ran over to meet her old friend. "Hehe, and don't worry about me Stinkbreath I'm fine." She reassured him with a joke and light hearted attitude. She then turned to the others and then back towards Ralph. "So, how exactly did we get here?" She asked, shivering a bit as a quick winter wind bolted through the air.

(ooc: Btw NC, Vanellope's glitch problem is back since arriving in Chicago, though she will have control over it soon.)

"Lampy, what in the name of-"

That FDR 1940's voice all but unfamiliar to the gooseneck lamp. "Huh?" Lampy angled his flexible neck behind him. Yes he was correct, it was Radio standing near the house gate. Normally, he would've been irritated with his obnoxious presence. But the lamp was simply gracious for seeing a familiar sight. "Hey Radio, over here!" Lampy hopped to face his friend's direction, waving his cord in the air.

"It's okay, we don't have to hide from them." He explained to the tube dial appliance, now hopping his way. "So, uh did you wake up here too?" He asked once he approached him, just simply happy to see the loud mouthed Radio.

[Nostalgia Chick]

Elisa smiled seeing Lampy walk around. Then Vanellope and Radio arrived. It was interesting to see the group of people they had and kept getting.

"It's alright. Lampy. This is new to us too. We didn't expect to be meeting superheroes, talking objects, warriors, and everyone else from our favorite films, tv shows, and books. It's taken us a while to adjust to it. This war's only been going on for a month but sometimes it feels like it's been going on forever." said Elisa.

She paused looking at Cash.

"It's alright. You don't have to fight. Like we said this is meant to be a safe zone for everyone. If you choose to fight we'd welcome you. But if you don't that's okay too." said Elisa.

She paused hearing he could sing.

"You can sing? I'd love to hear you sing sometime." said Elisa.

Nella nodded agreeing with Elisa before addressing the crowd.

"Well, how about you guys all come into the house? I'm sure we've got some food or drinks if you guys are hungry." said Nella.

Chick smiled seeing Radio and Vanellope here. Wreck it Ralph was one of her favorite films so it was cool to see them here. She turned to Trufflehunter and smiled at him.

"We have a few other animals here too. But you're our first badger. So we're glad for any help we can get." said Chick.

She smiled glad America and Denmark agreed to join as well.

"The more the merrier. Glad to have you aboard the army." said Chick.

She paused turning to Anya and sighed. She shook her head sadly.

"We haven't found a way to send everyone back yet. So far the only we know is Dr. Insano's invention that brought everyone here. And he has it hidden somewhere. The last few times we've gone to Ask That Guy's house we haven't seen it. But we're still working on a way to send everyone home. In the meantime you're welcome to stay here whether you wish to fight or not." said Chick.

She heard Nella's suggestion and nodded.

"Yeah come on inside everyone. I'm sure Mrs. Potts and the others have been cooking up something great by now." said Chick.

She turned as Critic and Ralph came out to greet everyone.

Inside Mrs. Potts was working with Jasmine and Kim who offered to help her cook and serve things. Jasmine stuck her head outside to see the commotion seeing they had a few new members. She returned to the kitchen.

"We've got a few new allies so guess we should be making more of this." said Jasmine.

"Oh dear. I wish we had more help. Back at the castle, we had a lot of staff to help. But I'm glad you girls are pitching in to help." said Mrs. Potts.

"Of course. I help my mom out in the kitchen sometimes. So I'm used to it. I'm glad to help." said Kim.
