A Friend In Need

[Nostalgia Chick]

(January 27th. Night. Closed to the rescue party trying to get Nella, Patch, & Goggles.)

Nostalgia Chick had gathered as many people as she could earlier in the day telling them her plan. She wanted to get Patch back and hopefully with the ring she was going to get Nella and Goggles back too. Elisa had gone with her now wanting to risk losing her again. Tender Heart had volunteered to go hoping his power might be able to help free Nella and Goggles as well.

Soon they were outside the house. Nostalgia Chick had some potions Queen Grimhilde had made. Queen Grimhilde had offered to stayed behind to provide a cover story saying they were out training so Critic and the others wouldn't suspect anything. Chick turned to her group as they assembled in the front yard.

"We don't have a lot of time. Remember Patch, Goggles, and Nella are who we are after. If you bump into someone knock them out as quick as you can to avoid alerting the rest of the army." whispered Chick.

She then drank one of Grimhilde's potions stepping through the basement door and then opening it a few minutes later as the potion wore off.

"Come on. Let's go." said Chick.

Elisa followed her into the basement also eager to get Nella and the others back. She missed Nella and realized how bad she'd treated her. Hopefully this would work. She wasn't going to lose both of them. If things got dicey she was going to make sure she left with Chick and the others. She was not going to let anyone else get kidnapped in this mission.

Tender Heart followed them inside the basement turning to them.

"What do we do now?" asked Tender Heart.

"We split up. I will lead a team to go look for Nella. Spoony you can lead a team a team to find Goggles. And Paw you lead the team to find Patch. We have to split up and do this as quick as possible." said Chick.

"I'll go with Spoony. Seeing both of us there might make Dark Nella more angry and harder to handle." said Elisa.

XXXX

"I'll go with you Nostalgia Chick. I might be able to help you get her back." said Tender Heart.

[IHeart]

Spoony followed the rest to the basement, nodded to chick's statement and turned to Elisa, glad for her assistance. Spoony responded "Chick's right. Whoever you're going with, go quickly. You never know when they find us. Alright, who else is going with me? And who goes with Chick and Paw?"

"I'll go with Chick!" Donatello responded assuringly "Nella's just as much of a victim as my brother is" Donatello then raised his staff and awaited the rest as he checked for anybody coming by.

"I'll go with Spoony" IHeart responded gravely checking the whole place as if every place she saw there were cameras searching for her. IHeart volunteered to avenge Goggles, Patch and Nella by being part of the rescue team and she would see to it they won somehow.

Maleficent’s golden eyes grew cold as they took in the house for the second time that week. To be quite frank, she was growing tired of this scenario.

The fools. Don’t they realize their efforts are futile?

Despite this thought and her outward appearance of confidence, the dark fairy couldn’t deny that she was a little apprehensive. Not for Patch – they had gotten him back once, so she had no doubt they could do so again. No, her worries were focused more for herself, believe it or not. Though it had been several days since she had drained Ma-Ti’s ring of dark magic, she could still feel the aftereffects of the ritual – namely a certain weakness that was not normally present within her.

Maleficent shook her head, as though to banish the thoughts. Her powers were great, greater perhaps than that of any of her allies. Even if they weren’t at their full strength, they would be more than enough to send a message to Ask ThatGuy.

She listened as Nostalgia Chick instructed them to get into groups. When she finished speaking, Maleficent turned to the man called Paw with questioning, unimpressed eyes.

The battle hadn't gone so hot for Belle - maybe a different mission was right for her. That was exactly why she had chosen to go with the Chick and her team to reasue some corrupted or otherwise captured friends. While clearly the others were thinking violence, Belle's mind still stubbornly clung to the hope that maybe this could be sorted out. At least one of the so-called "villains" had to have a little sense, right? If what the princess knew was true, then surely none of them in their right minds would want to be slaves to this ThatGuy...guy. It was up to Belle to warn as many as she could. And save their friends too of course, but she didn't know them well, so her own goal was foremost in her immedate thoughts.

Brown eyes flashed as she listened to the orders. Belle only uttred a soft noise and dipped her head, indicating she understood. The girl sidestepped toward Paw and the green-skinned woman. She was as ready as she'll ever be. She just hoped that crabby lioness didn't find her again - the cat could be a slave for all she cared.

Rachel came in , she was ready for another battle or it was another rescue party , Rachel sighed and walked to them as her green eyes glowed and flashed and when she listened to the orders she said :"I 'll go with Chick too!." Rachel said as her sweet tone became eager but serious . The spoiled woman looked at them as she said she will go with Nostalgia Chick to rescue for Nella .

Rach was eager to be in a rescue party but what if she will get a bigger and worse wound than she got from last year or even what if she will be kiddnapped or taken , the spoiled woman didn't want it will happen . She thought in her heart.

Harvey, not for the first time, wondered if he was the only sane member of the internet group here. Not only was coming back to get the captured prisoners so soon after their successful second rescue seemed incredibly stupid, it was also dangerous. While Linkara had been boasting about defeating Mechakara, Harvey knew that he would be out for revenge. He moved towards the Chick. While he liked the others, he really wanted to get the funny Nella gal he had met a while back. "Got a bad feeling about this, kid" he muttered to Linkara.

"Harv. Look, don't worry, we'll figure something ou." Linkara wssn't really conviced at his words, but he quickly changed the subject "If its okay, I'll look on my own"

Blackberry, mainly because she was unsure, decided to go with Spoony, while Gadget scrambled up onto Paw's neck.

Paw inwardly screamed at the thought of leading a team, he didn't want to be responsible for not getting Patch back, but whatever happened he was going to give his best. He squirmed slightly as Gadget climbed up his back, but he didn't really mind. He gave a slight smile to Belle reassuring her. He then looked at Maleficent, not showing any fear "Come on then."

[IHeart]

IHeart turned shocked to Linkara "Link... Are you sure going by yourself is a good idea? Maybe you should go with paw or something, I don't know... I mean..." IHeart didn't know how to tell linkara that she wanted him to be protected without sounding like she didn't know he could take care of himself. Spoony turned to Linkara, far more blunt than IHeart and replied "Dude, as much as I know you can take care of yourself but we need backup. Hell, all three teams need the backup they can get. You can go with anyone of us"

"Linkara. Bad idea. You know you'll need all the help just as much as we all need the help. You'll have to pick a team. We just don't wanna take chances" Donatello responded, trying to be encouraging and helpful but honest at the same time

"Yeah, sorry." Linkara grinned embarrassed "Trying to cut back on idiotic suggestions like that." He quickly thought "I'll go with Spoony, if he doesn't mind having me." Paw meanwhile scratched his head and Harvey looked at his watch.

"Guys I think we should get a move on, the villains may come at any moment."

Rachel nodded to Linkara and she waited for the others to move on before the villains will come , Rach sighed without knowing what to do . Her green eyes scanned the house as the spoiled woman didn't know what to do .

[Nostalgia Chick]

Nostalgia Chick turned to Tender Heart, Donatello, and Rachel.

"Well let's go and be careful." said Chick.

She held her sword close as she walked out.

Tender Heart followed Chick out carrying a small dagger. He didn't like to fight but in case his Care Bear Stare wasn't enough he wanted to be able to protect himself.

Elisa turned to Spoony, Iheart, Blackberry, and Linkara.

"Come on. Let's go get Goggles back." said Elisa.

Meanwhile upstairs Goggles was upstairs in the living room chatting away with Gi. There were very few girl members in the army and Dark Nella was busy a lot being one of the leaders. So Goggles was glad Gi had time to talk.

"And that's when I fell in love with a man from Atlantis. I wished I could have stayed. But I wanted to be a Planeteer. Maybe I should have given my ring to someone else and stayed safe." said Gi.

"You'll find someone else. Like I did. Black Lantern Spoony si great. I enjoy every moment I spend with him whether it's talking, or fighting together on the battlefield." said Goggles.

Meanwhile on the second floor Dark Nella was going over some battle plans. She wanted their next attack to be perfect. They'd kidnapped Pinocchio, damaged their house, injured several members, and even rescued their own captives and Ma-Ti's ring. They had to make them pay for what they did.

Paw looked around at his group Gadget, Maleficent and Belle. Was there some weird magnetic force that made people not want to go with him? He gave a slight jerky nod "Let's go." He turned towards the stairs and prepared to ascend them.

Harvey and Linkara looked at each other. Then they said, at the same time "Where should we start looking?"

Blackberry frowned. She wasn't exactly sure what to contribute to the discussion. She shrugged "Goggles could be anywhere."

Harvey sighed at Linkara, "Try not to get killed." Then he turned to join the team looking for Nella.

Rachel nodded as she walked carefully holding a sword too in her hand close to her chest as she didn't make a move of noise means the villains will attack her and she muremured low to herself :"I have to help just help." Rach murmured as the spoiled woman still walked quitely .

[Black Lantern Spoony]

Donatello nodded and quickly followed Chick, Rachel and Tenderheart. He knew this was a risk and he was grateful that he didn't allow Splinter to know, for the poor rat would not allow him this idea at all. Donny responded sympathetically "Hey chick, I wanna let you know thank you for letting me know about this"

"Good luck guys" IHeart responded softly to Paw's team and Chick's team. Then she turned to Spoony awaiting a answer from him. Before he responded, IHeart turned to Harvey and replied "Be careful uncle harvey" With that, she turned to Linkara's side and looked straight to Spoony, awaiting his answer. When he did respond and walked away, he followed right behind him when walking

"Blackberry's right she could be anywhere. We'll try upstairs first and see what we can find. Stick close and follow me" Spoony responded, as he carefully observed the Ma-Ti ring Chick allowed him to borrow. He sighed as if still remembering Goggles before walking upstairs

Black Lantern Spoony was sitting alongside Patch as Dark Nella went through battle stradegy. Patch was admittedly glad he made his choice but everyday he felt a storm cloud was over his head. He knew he would one day have to explain to the others and knew they would never forgive him but he wanted to avoid it as much as he could, so he stayed by the sides. Mechakara seemed to be busy with Dr. Facilier so Patch was willing to be with someone else for the moment and BLS was kind enough to the pup to let him follow him. BLS petted the dog absentmindedly as he listened to Nella's ideas

Harvey quickly hugged Iheart in return "Good luck kid, keep Link out of trouble will ya?" With that, he quickly turned back towards the CHick "So, where do we start looking for Nella?" His body shook slightly at the quiet he was hearing.

The tension was so thick Maleficent felt she could reach out and touch it. The side conversations were a mere formality – everyone’s minds were focused on the common goal.

She and Paw were soon joined by Belle and the mouse-like creature, Gadget. When it seemed that there would be no other addition, Paw went to the stairs, and Maleficent reluctantly followed. Vaguely, she heard IHeart wish them good luck.

“We won’t be needing it,” the fairy muttered to herself. No, Mechakara was the one in need of luck. She continued in a louder tone to make sure she was heard, “We should search the robot’s room first. It’s where I found Patch last time.”
