A Daring Rescue

[Queen Grimhilde]

(January 12th. Night. Rescue attempt thread for Morpheus & Nostalgia Chick. I decided to start it. You can pick any group you want to be in or make your own as well.)

The group arrived at the house and soon had split off into teams. Jasmine and Ma-Ti were with Iheart's group out front. Ma-Ti was using one of Linksano's gadgets to jam Insano's gadgets and inventions. However Linksano had said he wasn't sure how long it would last maybe an hour at most They would have to move quick to avoid detection.

Jasmine watched him as she glanced at the house. She had promised herself to get Nostalgia Chick and Morpheus's back. For their safety as well as Nani and Nostalgia Critic. Hopefully their army would be back to normal by tomorrow morning. Or as normal as they could get fighting in a war.

Roses was in Spoony's group in the backyard looking for a way in.

"Guys, how about we try the basement door? Maybe it's unlocked." said Roses.

She went to the basement door and tugged on it. She frowned realizing it was locked.

"I guess we need another way in." said Roses.

Queen Grimhilde teleported onto the roof waiting for Maleficent and Splinter to follow.

"These communicators were quite handy invention. A pity I won't be able to take it with me. As my world hasn't got technology." thought Grimhilde.

She looked at the chimney before shaking her head. It would cause too much noise plus the risk of getting stuck in it. She walked towards the backyard and found a window into the attic on the back of the house a couple feet below the roof. Luckily she'd brought some rope with her and tied it around the chimney before lowering it down.

From the backyard of Ask ThatGuy’s lair, Maleficent watched Grimhilde climb into the house through the attic window. She had enough time to give the queen an unseen, amused smile before her body was consumed by emerald flames. Seconds later, a second bought of flames appeared in the home’s interior. Slowly, they grew larger and brighter until they vanished, leaving the green-skinned fairy in their wake.

Straightening up, Maleficent looked around and suddenly realized that she and Grimhilde were alone in the house. Frowning, she looked out the window and found that their comrades were still outside, trying to find an entrance point. Rolling her eyes – honestly, did they have to do everything? – she took the rope Grimhilde had used and carefully lowered it down to the ground, motioning for the others to climb up it, hoping that it would be long enough.

Hurry up, she willed them. We haven’t got much time.

[Linkara]

Linkara looked around for a way in. Behind him he could hear Gadget pawing nervously at the pocket he had put her in. He examined one of the windows and pulled Gadget out of his pocket "Think you can unlock this without making any sound?"

Gadget gingerly climbed onto the window. She gently pulled out a oil can and the hinges opened slightly. She sqeezed through then closed the window. She turned to Linkara and mouthed "I'll take care of the bugs and Insano's traps"

Linkara gave a thumbs up then turned to look for a new door. Blackberry was with Snob. She was shaking slightly but she was putting a brave face on.

Paw turned to Roses and gave her a dry smirk "Well, we could always try the front door. But somehow I dubt that the good doctor would want us to do that." He turned to Spoony and shrugged "So what do we do now?"

"Hey wait for me ! ." A dark creamy lioness came in as she dashed in a quickly running as she stopped her legs were closed and they bumped in the ground .

Her dark green eyes shined as her claws expoushed , she let a low growl like a whisper as she saw AskThatGuy's home and then she calmed down and she in her regular tone :"Can I help someone ?"Sarafina asked as her ears flicked and pearked . The female creamy feline sighed as she looked up . The lioness was too confused maybe ....


Sarafina looked at the group and a misunderstood expression was in her face .

[Pushing Up Roses]

Roses turned spotting Sarafina and waved her over to them. She then spotted the rope being lowered from the roof as Queen Grimhilde climbed inside and Maleficent turned into a ball of light and flew in.

"Looks like Queen Grimhilde and Maleficent found a way in. Maybe we should find another one just in case there's a trap in the attic." said Roses.

Queen Grimhilde glanced out the window shaking her head. She pulled out a potion bottle and tossed it to Roses.

"That can make you ghostlike. If you just take a sip it should wear off in like a couple minutes. But don't drink the whole bottle or you'd be stuck that way for hours." said Queen Grimhilde.

She stepped away from the window to explore it.

Roses turned glancing at Paw and Sarafina before popping the top off.

"We need another way in. And she is on our side." said Roses.

She swallows a sip handing it to Paw as she becomes transparent. She turns and steps through the cellar door and a couple minutes later it swings open as she's now solid again.

"We have to remember to make more of these. They could come in handy. We should hurry." said Roses.

Meanwhile in the attic seeing she'd helped the others on the ground find a second way in indirectly she focused back in the room. She put her finger on a nearby box and rubbed off some dust.

"This room doesn't look like it's used much. It must be for storage. I doubt they'd hide that device up here where anyone could stumble across it. It must be in Dr. Insano's laboratory. We should hurry before we're discovered." said Grimhilde.

She turns heading for the attic door walking slowly in case any of the floorboards creaked. Fortunately she made it to the door only stepping on two creaky floorboards but didn't hear anyone coming this way.
She opened the attic door grabbing a nearby candle and lighting it with a match. She crept silently down the attic stairs into the house hoping no one was awake or close enough to hear them.

"Oh well Roses , hmm I think we should break the windows , no it would not be good or maybe by the cimney ! ." Sarafina said :"It would be sounds good ?" The dark creamy feline asked Roses .

Her dark green eyes looked at the redheaded woman as she ears percked and flicked and she blinked twice . The female should have an idea.

Paw smirked as Roses turned into a ghost and wafted through the door "Did anyone tell you, you look nice when you turn into a ghost?" He muttered it under his breath so he hoped Roses didn't hear. He took a sip and then stepped through the door as he reformed. "Right, so I assume that we wait, or we start when Gadget takes care of the traps."

Gadget had already taken out several traps, however down in the basement, where there was a large bar area, she found the fuse box. She gently opened it and chewed through the wries, allowing the power to go out.

[Pushing Up Roses]

Roses turned to Sarafina.

"Thanks to Queen Grimhilde we found a way in through the cellar. We need to be quick before Ask That Guy or the others wake up and find us." whispered Roses.

She turned to Paw smiling as he entered.

"Well Ma-Ti was using one of Linksano's devices but we still have some time before it stops weorking. I do think Gadget can shut them down for good but maybe we shouldn't wait that long in case one of them wakes up. Besides Chick and Morpheus might be hurt and we got to get them out of here." said Roses.

She kept walking as she opened a door and gasped in complete shock. There lying on a couch was Nostalgia Chick. She was in a forcefield asleep. Morpheus was no where in sight.

"Paw it's Chick. We found one of them." said Roses.

She crept silently into the room looking for a way to disable the forcefield. She finally spotted a machine shutting it off. The forcefield soon vanished as Roses rushed over to Nostalgia Chick trying to wake her up.

"Nostalgia Chick. Wake up. We're here to rescue you." said Roses.

Nostalgia Chick's eye opened as she smiled. She suddenly transformed into Mechakara right before her eyes.

"Did you really think it would be that easy?" asked Mechakara.

He smirks sending a blast of energy at her.

Roses narrowly dives out of the way as it strikes the wall behind her.

"This is not good." said Roses.

Roses taps a button on her communicator.

"I'm under attack by Mechakara. If you're going to go after Chick and Morpheus now's the time before we got the whole army attacking us." said Roses.

Upstairs Queen Grimhilde heard the message and sighed.

"At least they're providing a good distraction." said Grimhilde.

She turns heading into the first room she sees. It's an empty bedroom. She walked out not seeing anything worth value in there as she heads into the second one.

Ma-Ti cursed under his breath as he heard Roses's message. Mechakara was one of the most dangerous additions to their army. They couldn't do it alone.

"Jasmine, Iheart. We've already been discovered. We might as well head inside and help them out now." said Ma-Ti.

Jasmine nodded as she ran towards the cellar door with Ma-Ti right behind her. They had to stop Mechakara before he alerted the rest o the army.

Blackberry had followed Paw, having explained to Snob that she had noticed something. After drinking a little potion, and checking she hadn't crossed to the other side, she lept through the door. And it was because she had followed them that she was able to save Paws life.

Holli had been bored. Un. Godly Bored. She had had to hide behind the force field in order to trick the opposite side. Still, she thought, soon, I'll get to have my own fun with the chick, and then... She grinned, Ask That Guy and her were giving her several perverse treatments.

She picked up the weapon Insano had made: A whip made of pure electical energy. Standing up, she swung it towards Paw.

But before it could connect, she felt Blackberry's sharp teeth bite her ankle, and she screamed.

Paw fumbled with his gun and sent three shots out towards Meccakara. Seeing Blackberry had saved his life, as he barely ducked the whip, he lept over and crashed into Holli, sending them both backwards.

(OCC, Roses, could you please kill Holli now?)

"Oh , well that 's good really good ." Sarafina said to Roses as she came in , tiptoeing her paws and sneaked . Her dark green eyes scanned the house and she joined the group . The female lion waited for Scar to come in .

Ears were flicked as the dark creamy feline saw everything infront of her eyes , she wanted to fight Scar but she 'll have to do something else.

[Pushing Up Roses]

Mechakara put up his forcefield but he still stumbled backwards onto the coach from the force of the blast.

Roses quickly reactivated the device trapping Mechakara on the couch for the moment as she quickly went to help Paw & Blackberry try to hold Holli down.

(ooc: Okay. But I think Roses should defeat Holli and then think she's knocked out. But Holli then lunges at Roses and Roses could kill her in self defense. Even though this is a war only a few of the reviewers have actually killed someone personally. Linkara, Critic, Spoony, etc.)

Scar heard laser fires as he headed downstairs to spot the group and smiled as he saw Sarafina.

"Hello Sarafina. It's been quite awhile. I hope you're pretty daughter's doing fine without you." sneered Scar.

He then lunged at her trying to separate her from the fight going on with Holli and her three attackers.

Maleficent had since joined Queen Grimhilde in her search of the upstairs. Thus far, it had proven to be a fruitless one – every room they looked in was empty. In fact, until Roses messaged Grimhilde about an attack by Mechakara, the fairy was certain she could have been forgiven for thinking that the house was completely empty.

“Grimhilde.” Maleficent kept her voice low, just in case her notion was incorrect. “Does it seem quiet to you? Too quiet, perhaps? It’s almost as though no one is here.”

Gold eyes darted around the hallway, searching for some sign of life. Had the enemy predicted what they were going to do and taken the prisoners to some other location? She hoped not. It would mean that all of this was for naught.

"Scar ! My daugther 's doing fine without me and what are you doing here ?! ." Sarafina snarled at Scar . The dark creamy feline gasped as Scar tried to lunge at her . Sarafina tried to pull him off to the ground and then claws opened and she tried to slash the tryant lion .

The lioness growled at Scar as her dark green eyes narrowed and a growl came from her thoart and words were mouthing from her creamy muzzle :"If Nala would be here . Listen and mark my words DO NOT DARE TO COME OVER HER , ME OR MY ALLIES ON NOSTALGIA SIDE EVER ! You get it .?! ."The female lion roared at Scar .

Paw held Holli down, with Blackberry cuffing her in the face a couple of times. When Roses came to join, he staggered back, whispering to Blackberry "Thanks for that" He then turned and charged at Mechakara, pulling out the staff he had used as Profion. He sent it swooping towards his head.

Blackberry acknowledged Paw with a smile, as she moved off and examined the room, trying to see if she could see Morpheous or Chick.

Holli grimaced as she shakily rose to her feet. Her once beautiful face was covered with bruises and blood, and she wanted to get Roses for it. Roses had her back to her. She pulled out her sword and snarled "Well, you'll die, and then I'll have some fun with that blonde bimbo!" So saying, she charged her.

Gadget grimaced as two strange looking creatures came after her. They were Insano's creations, and boy did they look it. Mismatched, they sent a blast of energy towards her. Gadget ran towards the corner, trying to get her weapon out.

[Queen Grimhilde]

Queen Grimhilde turned to Maleficent and nodded.

"Some of these are bedrooms. And they're not as dusty as the attic. They look like someone's been living there. So where would they..."

Her face pales as she turns to Maleficent with worry.

"Pinnochio. They must have gone after Pinocchio. They could have spied on us or made the same plan as we did. Either way the others back home are in danger. Half of us are over here. And most of the ones at Critic's home are children or injured. We have to hurry before we don't have an army back home left to save." said Queen Grimhilde.

She turned and bolted downstairs searching for Insano's lab or a sign of Chick and Morpheus.

The device generating the forcefield had a limited supply so the power went out as Mechakara was freed. Just as Paw swung a staff at him. Mechakara snatched it in his mechanical hand and grinned.

"You think you can hurt me with a staff? This isn't the dark ages and I'm not a human." said Mechakara.

He smirked and pushed Paw backwards.

"A shame Linkara isn't here to see us destroy you." said Mechakara.

He laughed as he lunged at Paw his hand transforming into a sword.

Roses turned hearing Holli. When Holli threatened Rachel she frowned. She wouldn't let her hurt any of her friends especially one who couldn't fight back. She swung her sword towards Holli trying to knock her sword out of the way.

Scar frowned as her scratches hit his neck. He had always been the weaker of the two siblings. But he wasn't going to be beaten by a lioness. Especially Nala's mother. Nala was to blame for Simba's return just as much as the hyenas. If she hadn't found him he wouldn't have returned. He couldn't take his anger out on Nala but he could on her mother.

"No one orders me around. I am your king. Simba turned his back on the pride, and fled to the jungle. I led you for years. I kept the pride together. I should still be the king. If it wasn't for your meddling daughter I still would be." said Scar.

He growled as they kept fighting as he tried scratching her back in return.
