A New Arrival

[Teddy Ruxpin]

(January 25th. Open to all villains. Teddy's intro thread.)

Teddy Ruxpin walked into the house. He smiled as he sat down in the living room waiting for the other members to arrive. He'd seen they were indeed the winning side. He did see three of their prisoners were rescued recently but they were still a strong army. He felt he could help them.

Dark Nella walked in startled to see the toy bear. She wondered if Pinocchio or Butters had a stuffed bear they left behind. As she got closer she recognized it as a Teddy Ruxpin teddy bear. She remembered seeing him pop up on one of Critic's commercial specials so she'd then watched his Halloween special where Teddy original appeared.

"Are you the evil Teddy Ruxpin who went after the Nostalgia Critic? Or just a toy?" said Dark Nella.

At first, she didn't get an answer and assumed it wasn't alive. Then she could have sworn he moved his arm.

Teddy smiled moving his right arm and waved to her.

"Yes. I am. Critic gave an awful review of me." said Teddy Rupxin.

"And I want to make him pay for that." said Teddy Ruxpin in a deeper voice as his eyes turned completely red..

Dark Nella nearly jumped herself as his voice got darker and his eyes changed color.

"You are him. Welcome aboard." said Dark Nella.

"What on earth is that?" DarkHeart replied, extremely confused with the bear, and not seeing his display from earlier. She turned to see no one else so she simply found it simple to talk to the bear and Dark Nella. She then responded "Greetings. Are you a new ally? I am DarkHeart" DarkHeart allowed a dark smile to go through her lips. She turned to dark nella in greeting her as well

On the outskirts of the House of Doom, just in front of the Dark Woods, was Zira. An instinctive unease connected with being inside the house for long periods of time had driven the tan lioness to clear away a large area of snow – enough for two lions – and claim it for her own. She had just fallen into a light sleep, contentedly soaking in what little sunlight there was, when she heard a trio of voices coming from inside the house. Two of them were easily recognized as Dark Nella and DarkHeart, but the third was a mystery. Red eyes slowly opened, and Zira padded inside, curious.

The sight before her was a strange one. Dark Nella and DarkHeart were crowded around what looked like a small bear. Zira watched it warily, a sense of unease building in the pit of her stomach. There was something wrong. The bear didn’t seem to be alive, and when the red-eyed lioness sniffed the air, she couldn’t catch a scent from it.

Yes, something was very wrong indeed.

Cautiously, Zira padded closer.

DarkHeart turned to see Zira and having a soft spot for animals, immediately grinned at her precence. She gave Zira a small nod of greeting before turning to the bear once again. She replied "Wait. I recall you from somewhere. I believe you are a toy called Teddy ruxpin?"

Dr. Insano yawned bored before going to see the tiny crowd gather among Teddy ruxpin and curious himself walked over. He looked to DarkHeart nodding to the robot girl before looking at the bear again

[Teddy Ruxpin]

"Yes I am. I'm Teddy Ruxpin and I want to kill the Critic." said Teddy.

"He's a teddy bear possessed by a demon or something. He appeared in a couple of Critic's reviews. One was his Halloween special and the second was one of his commercial ones." said Dark Nella.

Dr. Smith walked in impressed to see Teddy Ruxpin.

"A living teddy bear. I'd have preferred Chucky but this should be interesting." said Dr. Smith.

"Chucky's an old friend of mine. I am sad his movie career went downhill after the first couple of movies. But at least I had a tv show. And Critic and Phelous made fun of him too. I'm going to have to kill them both for that one." said Teddy.

[DarkHeart]

"Ah yes. The Nostalgia Critic. He is a annoying human but you going after him should strike fear into him" DarkHeart replied amused to Teddy. She then turned to Nella and let out a chuckle "How pathetic. No offense to Teddy but if he's the leader of the opposing side I'd expect a better backbone then to simply make fun of Teddy then fear him" DarkHeart then replied "Again Teddy, no offense I'm positive you are a use to us"

"Ah. A demonic teddy bear. How interesting" Dr. Insano commented before replying to Smith "My mom gave me a teddy ruxpin. Loved it but my idiot self lost it around middle school age"

"Humans are so easily fooled. But it's worse because you don't expect a teddy bear to come to life and attack you. I think I'm going to rewatch that Halloween special today. It was great." said Dark Nella.

"Dark Nella is right. Humans don't expect me to be alive so they let their guard down. Then when I attack it really freaks them out. Of course my last owners learned that the hard way. When I killed them and set the place on fire. It'll look like a gas leak an unfortunate accident." said Teddy, chuckling.

Dr. Smith turned hearing Insano had one.

"Be pretty funny if it was the same bear." joked Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith smiled hearing Teddy's story.

"Very impressive. I'm sure he'll be very useful to the army." said Dr. Smith.

Zira’s red eyes widened when Teddy Ruxpin spoke – spoke! – in a monotonous sort of voice, something that did little to alter her belief that it was unnatural.

Then again, what part of this was natural?

Shaking her head, Zira forced herself to straighten up. She was (at least in her strange little world, and perhaps in the future) the Queen of the Pridelands, not some cringing, whimpering cub!

Lashing her tail, the tan lioness caught DarkHeart’s nod and casually returned it before focusing on the bear once more. Whoever he was, the rest of her “allies” seemed to know him, something that made Zira feel very out of the loop.

“Explain yourself,” she said haughtily, lips parted to reveal sharp, white teeth.

Teddy turned to Zira seeing her.

"Well I'm really a demon. I just possess this body so I can have fun and scare people." said Teddy as he spoke in his normal voice.

Demon?

Zira frowned, though this time it was out of confusion rather than her usual hostility. Demons weren’t something she was familiar with in the slightest. The most lions had in terms of a belief system were the Great Kings of the past and that they watched over those still among the living. There wasn’t any sort of evil figure – the African climate played that part perfectly.

Not that Zira was going to admit any of this. The last thing she wanted was to convey a mental weakness to her new allies. She would ask Scar about it later – he had been with these humans longer than her. Perhaps he would understand.

Regardless, Zira nodded curtly at Teddy Ruxpin’s answer. Red eyes darted to the other faces, waiting to see what they would do.

Teddy nodded glad she accepted his answer.

"Soon I'll make Critic pay for what he did to me. But I'm sure I'll have some fun while doing so." said Teddy, chuckling in his normal voice.
