[Grim Reaper]

(OCC: June 15th, bonding thread for Hades and Grim. I wanna start off the bromance)


Grim had somewhat gotten himself comfortable over the past two days he had arrived. He had grown a little bit of respect by displaying his powers but he seemed to have gotten some distrustful looks from a couple of non-magical members of the army, as he was a man of the undead and reaper. He expected that but it still somewhat hurt. Thankfully the leaders liked him and he was very popular with the kids, who he was surprised to see actually act very friendly and overall nice. It was weird but he definitely didn't dislike the place. He had heard rumors that he wasn't the only master of death. There was the god of the underworld known as Hades that resided here too and grim was unsure what to think. He was worried the god would feel he was stepping on his turf and out of fear tended to avoid him. So he stayed on the porch, listening to his favorite pop music and drinking a ice tea lemonade combo when he felt someone's presence. He looked above, taking off his sunglasses to see hades. He smiled sheepishly and replied "Ah, heh, hello there. Can I help ya?"

[Hades/Nikos Callas]

Hades had gone looking for the new arrival. First Shang Tsung was claiming souls as his which felt like stepping into his territory. But then realized they were from different worlds and different pantheons so he let it slide. But now hearing there was an actual grim reaper here. He was curious to meet him. As he walked out he saw Grim Reaper and smiled.

"Yeah. I heard you were here but I kind of get the feeling you've been avoiding me. I can be intimidating but it'd be nice to hang out with more people besides Loki, Karai and Shredder. And we have the same job. Just a different world." said Hades.

He paused waving his hand summoning a glass of wine and a chair as he sat down next to him.

"Unless you prefer to be alone then I can find somewhere else to be." said Hades.

[Grim Reaper]

Grim frowned nervously as Hades confronted him on avoidance. Grim scratched the top of his head in nervousness and awaited hades' breakdown but he was shocked that hades actually told him he wanted to talk to grim and perhaps even be friends. Unless he wanted to be alone. Being friends with hades sounded not only like a good plan in general but also to prevent grim's fear of actually getting on hades bad side anyway. Grim smiled then as hades sat next to him, wine in hand and grim replied happily "Are you kidding? I wanted to meet ya for the longest time. I just thought you wouldn't like me"

Grim then sighed confessing "The truth is. I was actually worried you thought I'd be stepping on your toes, since ya know we're both people who control and guard the undead and all. I thought you would be bothered by me" Grim then chuckled "That and yeah, I was a bit scared. I thought you'd be annoyed by me" He then smiled some more "But if you wanna be like allies or maybe even friends that'd be nice" He then shrugged "I don't got a lotta friends here anyway"

[Hades/Nikos Callas]

Hades grinned.

"I'm glad to hear it. And I only don't like it if someone's trying to take my spot as Hecate did in my world." said Hades.

He shrugged.

"There are a few of us here that I know of. Shang Tsung in our army. And Facilier in his own army. Well he gives souls to his friends on the other side." said Hades.

He paused for a moment.

"I should probably get around to finding a way to revive Holli. It would be good to test out if I have access to all of my powers here. And while she may not be important it'd be good to know in case someone really important dies." said Hades.

He hadn't bothered at the time too busy trying to find ways to woo Karai but now would be good time to try it out.

Hades nodded.

"I'd like that. Always glad to have more friends." said Hades.
