A Nice Gesture (Maleficent)

Dean(ooc: June 30th. Morning.)

Dean had been up cooking breakfast. Or some leftovers anyway. Brock and Mrs. Potts had helped him and he kind of wanted to surprise Maleficent. Sleeping Beauty had been one of his favorite movies growing up and now he actually was sharing a house with both Maleficent and Aurora. It was very surreal. And yet he felt sympathy for Maleficent. Here was a woman snubbed from a party. Did she overreact? Maybe. But she still was hurt and then everyone just decided to kill her. He sighed as he brought himself back to the present. He knocked on her door not sure if she'd be awake or if she'd already eaten.

"Um... Maleficent? Are you in there? It's Dean. I cooked you some breakfast. And don't worry it's not poisoned or bad. I got help to make it. I just wanted to do something nice for you. You've stayed up in your rooms so much lately but I just wanted to thank you. You're one of the strongest members in this army. You were a villain in your world but you chose to stay here. You could have joined the other armies any time you chose but you stayed. And that means something to me. I know breakfast isn't much but was hoping it'd help." said Dean.

He wasn't sure if she was awake so he opened the door putting the tray on a table by it. It had eggs, bacon, sausage, some orange juice, and a few chocolates as a desert. He turned to go closing the door only to frown realizing he'd accidentally locked it and his shirt was caught in the door.

"Oh great. She's probably going to think I'm an idiot now. Not much of a good impression." said Dean.

It was so ironic that hunted monsters for a living in his own world. When Maleficent had been one of his first crushes and now she probably would want anything to do with him.

"Maybe I should have just stayed in bed today.' whispered Dean.

Maleficent's main reason for being quiet was mostly out of confusion. Why was she here out of all armies? Sure she was against Ask Thatguy but was it really worth being here and to be humiliated? But then she remembered all the friends she had made and how nice it felt to be liked for once. Instead of treated as the villain. She had attractions to Dean Winchester but thanks to rumors of him being with someone else, she forced her feelings down. But she realized from more word of mouth that those rumors weren't exactly true so she felt she perhaps could try again. Her suspicions of him being possibly up for grabs was definitely confirmed when she awoke to hear him outside her door. She had awoken not long before and heard his words but was prepping herself to be properly dressed.

As he accidentally got stuck, maleficent prevented herself from laughing, the last thing she wanted was to embarrass him. Especially since he did such a kind thing for her. She put her staff down and replied calmly "Let me help you with that, Dean" With that, she helped unlock her door so his shirt would be released. She then took a glance at the food prepped for her and smiled kindly "This is a gesture very few people have done for me without being asked to. Your generosity is definitely appreciated" She then smiled some more and replied, while holding his hand "Perhaps you'd like to share this with me? It is a bit much for one person after all" It was definitely a invitation for dean to sit and chat with her. And she felt like she could finally talk more to him to express her feelings.

Dean smiled weakly as Maleficent opened the door and freed him.

"Thank you." said Dean.

He paused at her words and smiled.

"I'm glad I could. You've done a lot for this army and have gotten hurt too. You were a villain in your film. You could have joined Ask That Guy or Facilier at any time. But you chose to stay and help us. Made friends with people like Jasmine and Grimhilde. You're strong, powerful and beautiful. You can do much for this army but I'm a hunter. I hunted monsters in my world and now I kinda feel useless. Even Sammy doesn't need me much anymore. He has a new girlfriend." said Dean.

He sighed not sure what his place was in this army. He paused as she offered for him to join her and he grinned.

"I'd like that." said Dean.
