It Can't Be (Open)

[Destiny Lichon]

(ooc: June 6th. Evening open to facilier's army..)

Destiny walked around the house. She'd gotten her the night before but had stayed mostly in her room today. She hadn't felt much talking to people but she was hungry. So she went to get some food. She saw a man that sat on the sofa looking sad.

"Are you alright?" asked Destiny.

When she heard him speak she jumped in surprise as he accidentally phased the flask through a table.

"I'm sorry. But we'll get him back. Don't worrry." said Destiny, trying to cheer him up.

Destiny looked up seeing others soon arive and began introducing themselves.

"Hello, everyone. I'm Destiny." said Destiny.

Jesse was still feeling guilty. He'd gotten himself captured, and hurt. And Kal had let himself get captured to save him and Trickster. They'd overpowered them. He knew no one blamed him but he was afraid of how Jason or Seeker would react. He pulled out a flask and took a swig before looking over to see a woman.

"No. I'm not. We were attacked this morning and one of our own was taken. One of the strongest we got. And he gave himself up to save me. It's my fault." said Jesse.

He slammed the flask down on the table but in his anger activating his powers as it phased through the table and hit the floor instead. When otherscame in he glared at Mim and Teddy.

"I'm feeling bad enough. I don't you two making it worse." said Jesse.

Mim walked out chuckling.

"Well, well looks like someone's depressed. What's the matter boy? You losing your touch?" asked Mim.

She paused glancing at the girl.

"You must be new. The gloomy one of there is Jesse and I'm the marvelous Madame Mim." said Mim.

Scrrop walked out talking with Teddy. When he saw the new girl he smiled.

"Welcome miss. I'm Scroop." said Scroop.

He paused glancing at the sad man.

"What happened? Did someone die?" asked Scroop.

Teddy waved to the new g irl.

"I am Teddy Ruxpin. Welcome." said Teddy.

Like Mim he ws also amused at Jesse's sadness.

"He'd be worse if someone died. I think something else happened." said Teddy.

(OCC: Obviously I think jason is okay here but if he isn't let me know)

Jason had been a bit out of the loop himself. He had been busy assisting parts of the household for security as one of his army duties. So he was unaware of kal's disappearance. He recalled kal saying he was going to train, but jason didn't feel like going due to it being a bit hot. He was about to take a quick break when he heard noise and jesse's voice filled with drunken anger. Jason, unlike mim and teddy, didn't find his sadness funny. He at first did not notice the woman, concerned about jesse. He then heard his words.

"We were attacked this morning and one of our own was taken. One of the strongest we got. And he gave himself up to save me"

Jason was confused, and definitely concerned. If one of their strongest was taken, the army as a whole was in danger, and in a way he himself was a target. He replied gently "Jesse. Are you okay? What are you talking about? Who was taken?" He then turned to see the woman finally. He smiled to her to reply his greetings when she said her name was destiny. Jason's eyes filled with awe and a bit of shock. Destiny. As in... his sister? She looked immensely familar the more he stared at her. This woman had the same type of hair, the same type of eyes, the same color of skin as his sister did. Could it be? He ignored jesse for a moment to address her. Jason replied "Destiny, is... is that really you?" He widened his eyes as he saw the ever so familar scar don gave her back when they got captured and his eyes filled to the brim with tears "Destiny! It's me! Jason! Oh my god, sis!" He then grabbed her for a hug, filled with joy at the sight of his family finally here.

Trickster too felt a tiny bit of guilt himself. Were it not for his carelessness, he probably wouldn't have had his friend Kal be taken. Jesse took it immensely hard, the two were friendly in the past but Trickster felt a need to try to comfort jesse. Feeling it wasn't his fault but trickster's. The jester king went over to jesse and gently took the flask, giving a judgemental side eye towards mim "Madame Mim, your side comments are not needed" He then turned to Jesse and replied "You cannot blame yourself for that attack. We were cornered, he was cornered" He then turned to teddy and scroop and was about to be public with his words but he noticed Jason and his worry for jason's reaction came into play. In a effort to keep it quiet for the moment, he pulled scroop and teddy closer and replied "We have had a unfortunate attack by Ask Thatguy's members. They... they took..." He whispered it quietly, praying that jason did not hear him "They took Kal"

"Oh gee. Looks like we got another mouth to feed. Oh well, no harm in that I suppose. It is a army for war after all" Jafar commented, looking the woman up and down. She was not much to be desired, not commanding power was a set off for jafar, but he only met her today after all. It was all a matter of waiting and seeing. He bowed to her, ignoring jason's shock "Allow me to introduce myself. I am jafar" He then widened his eyes as jason talked and hugged her tightly "I... I suppose you two know each other?"

"Well he wouldn't be hugging her if he didn't" Prick commented sarcastically. He then raised a eyebrow as he called her sister "Oh. You're THAT destiny? The destiny who's his sister?" He turned to jason and gave a relieved smile. Actually somewhat touched at the reunion. He turned to jafar who watched the display also. And he then, idiotically, heard trickster mention kal was missing and he replied "Wait, wait, wait. That's why jesse here is acting like a sad drunk? Because kal got stupidly captured?"

Destiny paused seeing Jason and hugged him.

"Jason! I thought I'd never see you again. It was hard enough losing Mom and Dad, but when we got separated...."

She trailed off hugging him tighter. She paused when the others spoke.

"Who's Kal?" asked Destiny.

Destiny paused hearing Scroop.

"You have a boyfriend?" asked Destiny, surprised.

Jesse sighed.

"Zod and Ursa and that pest Cassidy. We were no match for two Kryptonians. I thought Zod was supposedly powerless but he 's regained his powers somehow. They are a powerful threat separately and even worse together." said Jesse.

He paused knowing Jason and his alter ego Seker's reactions to Kal's capture would not be good. He glanced over at Trickster.

"How can't I? They captured me to lure him out and then got him. They thought he was someone named Kal El but he kept saying he wasn't." said Jesse.

Mim raised an eyebrow.

"Wait. They took Kal? That is a problem. He was one of our strongest. That's not good." said Mim.

Mim chuckled at Teddy's observation.

"He's certainly not very bright. Maybe if you apologize Seeker may take it easy on you." said Mim.

Teddy frowned.

"Zod's got his powers back? Definitely not good. We need to find a way to get some Kryptonite to take out Kryptonians in Ask That Guy and Critic's armies." Said teddy.

He chuckled.

"Of course magic can harm them too but I'm not sure how effective it is." said Teddy.

Scroop frowned.

"So they took Kal. Then we have to find a way to get him back." said Scroop.

He raised an eyebrow at Prick stepping away from him.

"You don't insult someone when they're not here. Especially not when they've got a super strong boyfriend of their own." said Scroop, glancing from Prick to Jason. Not sure if Jason or Seeker was in control now.
