Stronger Than You Know (Scientists, Cyborgs, BLS, Judas Liz)

[Mechakara]

(March 22nd. Evening.)

Mechakara stumbled into the lab. He used the magical gem that was still within him to keep him alive as he couldn't heal his wounds. He didn't have enough strength to do that as he'd made his way back on foot, and crawling into the lab in the end when he could barely stand. As he did his body was enclosed in ice as he passed out to preserve his body. The gem trying to save him and not aware of the former cyborg's fear of ice. The last thing he saw was being frozen alive as he gave out a cry of panic before passing out.

The screams had Phil, Dr. Smith, Dr. Insuedo, and Seven of Eleven rushed in to see him.

Seven of Eleven rushed over to her father's frozen body.

"Father! No!" said Seven of Eleven.

She tried to melt him but was stopped by Bill.

She paused watching the others scan and looked up at Dr. Smith in alarm.

"What could be worse than his wounds? What is wrong Dr. Smith?" asked Seven of Eleven.

She gasped in shock as Smith's words.

"Father is human?" asked Seven.

Phil rushed to Seven of Eleven stopping her.

"Stop. He's badly hurt. I think the ice is keeping him alive." said Bill.

Phil paused looking around to see if Dark Heart was here. It was bad enough she'd gotten hurt against Malachite but now Mechakara being hurt. He wanted to be there for her but he hadn't seen her today. He hoped she was alright. He heard Mechakara was human and frowned.

"We need to tell some of the others. At least Dark Heart, Insano, and Black Lantern Spoony. They need to know." said Phil.

Dr. Insuedo and Dr. Smith took charge scanning Mechakara for injuries.

"Phil was right He was gravely injured. I think that magical gem is the only thing keeping him alive right now." said Dr. Insuedo.

"It can't be. The scanners must be wrong." said Dr. Smith.

"I can assure you. He is badly hurt." said Dr. Insuedco.

Dr. Smith shook his head.

"It's not that. According to these scans..."

Dr. Smith set it down grabbing another hoping that scanner was wrong but he frowned getting the same results.

"Seven of Eleven isn't the only one concerned. Out with it man!" said Insuedo.

"Mechakara is human." said Dr. Smith.

Dr. Insuedo was shocked.

"But how? He was Pollo from another universe and killed that Linkara and then used his body to create his cyborg self. Well his first version anyway. He's been blown and rebuilt a few times since then." said Insuedo.

[Dr. Insano]

(OCC: Hope bringing rodney here is okay. I've officially decided to make rodney keep a human look with the blond hair and blue eyes that's why there's a bit of a introduction)

DarkHeart was still recovering. While her face has been massively improved upon, the rest of her circuits and body had much to be desired. Her leg was still wrapped in a metal like bandage, her arm was in a sling with massive amounts of actual bandages to prevent more damage and her torso was covered in metal and actual bandages, some oil here and there seeping out like old blood. She was ashamed of her behavior and had been dreading the end result when her father left. She knew he would either be completely disheveled like she or just not return at all. She then heard a loud, human, male cry. But strangely it sounded a lot like her...

"Father?!" DarkHeart cried. Despite injury she did her best to come as fast as possible. And she heard smith and insuedo debate about his condition. Smith then revealed that her father was indeed human. A human so injured that he was forced into isolatory status by ice to heal. DarkHeart widened her eyes, tears threatening to spill across her cheeks, in fact many tears did escape. She began to panic "No! No! He can't be human! No! It's his worst fear to be human! Don't tell me he suffered that fate doctor please!" She then proceeded to grab smith's clothes, not out of anger or resentment, but pure panic. She replied "This is all my fault! I brought him to this fate and now he is close to death because of me!" She then was lead away to sit down and then she started to cry "But seven of nine it is my fault! He wouldn't be in this mess if it were not for me!"

Seven of nine heard the commotion quickly and she went over to see her beloved frozen solid and passed out. She turned to seven of eleven and held her closely like a mother would and hugged her tightly as phil told the girl to calm down. She then widened her eyes as smith confirmed from both scans AND BLS coming down to also confirm that mechakara was human. Seven of Nine turned to see darkheart panic and quickly seven of nine pulled darkheart to go sit on a chair to calm down. Seven of nine rubbed darkheart's back as she put darkheart to sit on a chair "Do not blame yourself darkheart. This is NOT your fault. However this happened can be fixed but do not blame yourself your father would not want that"

She then frowned to BLS, asking what happened, replying softly "Smith's scanners have indicated that the ice is a wall of magical energy healing mechakara and that he has biological signs. He is now human. We do not know how or why"

"Tell me what?" BLS asked as phil mentioned his name. He then turned to see insano arrive not long after, claiming he heard a scream and some arguing. BLS then turned to widen his eyes as he saw mechakara in the middle of the floor trapped in a block of ice "Yo what the hell happened?!" He then turned to see seven of nine explain that mechakara was human now and healing thanks to the ice. BLS then growled as Insuedo then asked how was this possible "This has got Facilier written all over it" BLS then went to use his ring to sense any dark energy or magical signs. Angrily he cursed "Fuck. Facilier turned him human. Facilier's magic is practically oozing from here. If it weren't for this ice, mechakara would be dead from the injuries in his head" He then growled, cracking his hands "Facilier is really going to get it one of these days I swear to god"

"Mechakara is what.....?" Judas liz asked before hearing BLS repeat what she thought she heard. She was minding her business before hearing the scientists argue about mechakara. She then widened her eyes in horror at the sight of her friend being covered in ice. She then frowned in shock before noticing mechakara just on the floor. She sighed before replying "We can't just move him to some place comfortable? And how long do we keep him in the ice? How long will this healing ice shit take? He hates the ice! We can't keep him there forever!"

Rodney was still getting completely used to his own new body. He was a cyborg through and through now, not human at all but he had a human outline and human appearance. Blond hair, blue eyes, a soft face and a relatively thin body, thinner than phil's, he was just trying to get used to it. It had been a request he made to insano since he had his date with seven of eleven. So with some tools and a all nighter, insano managed to do it for him. Rodney had been going out for a couple days as a human form but it was still new. But it seemed more new things were to come. Rodney quietly entered the scene and then listened to the entire conversation before pulling seven of eleven close to him. He shook his head "Master Insano, surely there must be something we can do to fix this!"

"I heard screaming what happened?!" Insano then turned to see both science and magic confirm that the ice was a magical healing tool and that mechakara was human. He turned to smith who was the one to confirm then bls to further prove it. Insano got his own personal scanner of the gem and a scanner of biological proof. He scanned the gem and nodded "It seems the gem has got him on stablization to heal all his wounds and replied "My god. The gem has become officially one with mechakara. It's still within him and still works as a part of him! Even with new vital signs it still recognizes mechakara as the owner!" He then went to get his biological scanner and replied "Mechakara's body is completely human! Human heart, organs everything! And the gem is working just as well in there. It's still around the same type of capacity" Insano grabbed his goggles to wipe his eyes as if he couldn't actually believe it. He didn't believe it. But it was true. Mechakara. One of the most human hating people in the world. Was human himself.

A fate worse than death most likely made by facilier. Insano believed this at least. And BLS confirmed his suspicions. He replied "The gem can heal him and sometimes protect him but because he clearly is injured he's not immune to harm at all, granted he wasn't before but he could still bounce back very quickly and get easily repaired. He could adapt and upgrade. But now as a human he's more easily capable of getting harmed. Facilier did this to him most likely to get us all scrambled into fixing him or at least to torture him. Bastard that he is!"

Insano couldn't help but smile at rodney's loyalty but shook his head sadly "As of the moment I don't know what to do. For once in my life I do not know how to scientifically fix something" He then turned to hear judas liz's concerns. He rescanned the gem and the bio scans "It seems this will take at least an hour to two hours, considering how his heart rate is going. But if we are to move him to a more comfortable area, such as a bed, I do not know how risky it can be. It seems we might not be able to move him until the ice goes away" Insano patiently replied

[Mechakara]

Phil hugged Dark Heart pulling her close.

"It's alright. There's no one to blame but Facilier. Mechakara wouldn't want you to blame yourself." said Phil.

He hoped he was saying the right things. He wasn't good at this emotional stuff. Being alive was so new to him and his cyborg body he was allowed to feel more than just baseball puns and evil.

"Just don't go after them again, please. I almost lost you once. You saw more than just an electric monster in me. You made me feel like I mattered before I got this body. Before I got my father back. I can't lose you." said Phil

He paused leaning closer.

"And if you think of going anyway I will follow. I won't let anyone hurt you even if I die saving you. Because it'll have been worth it because you'll be safe. " said Phil.

Seven saw her sister panic and her boyfriend try to calm her. She was upset as well.

"But why did it have to be ice? Why couldn't he have been knocked unconscious or something?" asked Seven.

She paused seeing Rodney and hugged him. She was falling apart too and she needed Rodney.

Smith and Insuedo kept looking at the findings.

"It appears Insano may be right. Another hour or two probably. Guess we're having a sleepover then." said Smith.

Insuedo sighed.

"Might as well get some of the old projects. I don't think I'll get anything done but it'd be a nice distraction." said Insuedo.

- Time Skip -

The ice melts as Mechakara stumbled out of it. He's a little sore but his wounds had healed mostly. He smiled seeing his family and friends gathered around.

"It's good to see everyone again. I- Ugh my head." said Mechakara.

He paused clutching his head in pain only to look up in panic.

"Nostalgia Chick? Liz? Spoony? Suede? What's going on?" asked Mechakara.

He paused seeing Insano off to the side and what everyone was wearing.

"It's Black Lantern Spoony, Judas Liz, and a couple of Doctor Insanos! Well, you think you can defeat me? I'm Linkara. I'm somebody around here. I'll take you down with ease." said Mechakara.

Insuedo was speechless.

"He actually thinks he's Linkara? Did that ice damage his brain?" asked Insuedo.

Seven walked forward.

"I'm not Nostalgia Chick, and you're not Linkara. I'm Seven of Eleven, your daughter. And you are Mechakara. Remember! said Seven.

Phil and Smith both watched in shock and confusion as Mechakara appeared to believe he was Linkara.

"This isn't good." said Smith.

"Gee what ever gave you that idea?" said Phil, sarcastically.
