(June 2th, evening)

Kovu run around on his own lost in thoughts. He was bored and didn't want to do much of anything expect of running. Kovu hoped that Kiara would join him but if not it was fine as he planned to keep running on his own. Which meant it was her choice, and he respected that as well as understood that. Granted, Kovu could play with others, which was great but he wanted to play with her the most, than anyone else. There was no doubt there. However, if Kiara decided not to join him, then Kovu planned to understand and respect that. Or so he told himself at least. For the time being, Kovu tried not to think of that as he run around and waited for her to join him, if she wanted to. He refused to stop hoping that she would join him as he did that.

Kiara had not seen kovu in a small while and she felt it was time for a change. She decided to try and find him and luckily found him by his lonesome, running about. She snuck around the couch trying to avoid his sight in a attempt to surprise him. She snuck behind him and then pounced on him "Gotcha!" She then laughed a bit replying "Where have you been? I haven't seen you in a while!" She then blushed a bit "I missed you"

Kovu was surprused by what had happened next. As he almost groweled until he realized that it was his Kiara. As Kovu realized it he laughed. "Kiara?!" he said excitedly. "Yes you got me," Kovu said giggling. He listened to what she said next qnd blushed too. "I was kidnapped but got away. Then I had a talk with your mom! Then I spend time on my own and now here I am. What about you? " he said to her. "I missed you too, "

Kiara was shocked to hear kovu was kidnapped. From under her very nose. Kiara blushed in embarrassment "Kidnapped? That's terrible! I'm so glad you weren't taken for long" She then gave a determined look to him "But if you were I would've rescued you. I promise you that" She then beamed "Oh sweet you met my mom? She's nice. At least I hope she was with you. But if she seemed a bit quiet that's normally how my mom is with new people"

Kiara then smiled about how she was doing "Well other than grammy and mom being here, nothing much has happened to me. At least that's what critic wants. But I want some adventure or something! I wanna do something for the heroes. Show them bad guys what for, you know?" She then pushed his shoulder playfully "Or play with you. That I can settle for"

Kovu watched her and sighed to it, as he shrugged to that. He didn't wish to tell her that, but he knew that he couldn't hide that either. Kovu watched her as he spoke and then he listened to her closely. " Yes, kidnapped. And it is, and your mom was one of those who rescued me! You and me both, also it was a few days before I got rescued but still, thank god for that," he said to her. Kovu watched her as he heard what she said next and sighed. "Yeah, well, good thing it didn't come to that as I don't wish for you to get hurt. Not now nor ever, so promise me that no matter what you will be careful,"  he said to her. Kovu listened to what she said next as he continued to watch her. "She was nice and quite. Then gave me 6 hours long lecture about being with you, haha. Also, wouldn't have it any other way,"  he said to her. Kovu looked around and back at her, as he licked her for a bit and then just watched her.  

He spoke again and then  listened to her once more. "Oh, alright then. That's good to know! And at least that. Oh and I am glad they are both here, just too bad your dad isn't here so! But who knows, he might one day show up here and maybe not, who knows," Kovu said to her. "Well, he sure does but then again, we all do, right? You and me both, as I miss our adventures. And yeah I do, same here,"  he said to her. "But your mo and grandma would kill me if that happened," Kovu added. He watched her and giggled as she did that and returned it, as he pushed her shoulder playfully as well as gently too. "Like wise, so let's  play,"  Kovu said and bowed kindly to her.

"So that's why when she came you started appearing more! No wonder it seemed like a coincidence!" Kiara replied back, completely relieved her mother saved her best friend. It felt poetic in a way. Kiara then frowned softly as kovu got nervous and asked her to promise not to risk her life for him. Kiara nodded wanting to appease kovu "Okay. I promise. For you though" Kiara then blushed as kovu licked her then told her about his talk with nala. While it seemed her mother approved, she wanted to warn kovu about the consequences of bad behavior "Oh goodness. Hope she wasn't like 'stay away from kiara' dumb stuff"

"You do realize if my daddy was here, he'd never let me out ever? Heck he'd probably chain me to the bedroom" Kiara laughed a bit. Although she missed her father terribly, there was always fear of her freedoms being taken away should he ever come. It felt wrong to say, but she didn't want her dad here. She then nodded "I mean yeah we'd get in trouble but that's what good guys sometimes do. Get in trouble. But I've been in trouble for trying to do a mission anyway, not worth all the hassle" Kiara shrugged "Yeah. Tag you're it!" She then tagged him and moved away, waiting to see him try to chase her.

Kovu listened to Kiara as he then nodded as a reply to what she was saying.
