A Little Pick Me Up(Elisa)

[Henry V/Hal]

(OCC: May 4th. Dating thread between Elisa and Hal. Feel like we need to do another one cause I miss these two)

Hal was a little confused as to why he was blindfolded. When elisa told him to get ready, he did so without thinking twice. He started to think though when Elisa blindfolded him and told him to wait as she went upstairs for something. The next thing he knew he heard some strange noises. Hal was starting to worry that Elisa was going a bit crazy. Then again, when you're in a war you tended to get a bit nutty. He supposed this was his fault, considering the other day he confessed to Elisa all his guilt from the capture of Thor and Magnus. Making her swear she'd find a way to boost his confidence again. Hal felt guilty, then again he had been feeling this way for the longest time.

He hoped Elisa wasn't doing anything too much for him. The curiosity started to eat away and he impatiently replied "Elisa, dear, can I please take this off now?"

Elisa was confused as her friends had shoved her into a room and put on a blindfold saying they were playing a game. But then they'd left her alone. The Make Over Fairy had even stopped by and she hadn't seen her in awhile. She wasn't aware the fairy had impersonated her to get Hal here until Hal spoke and it cliqued into placce.

She pulled off the blindfold seeing Hal and chuckled.

"Guess we both were duped." said Elisa.

She walks over and pulls off his blindfold. She walked to the door to find it locked.

"Guess my friends decided to interfere and lock us in here." said Elisa.

As she spoke food and drinks appeared on the table and she chuckled.

"I guess this is officially a blind date." said Elisa.

Apparently Elisa was also fooled. It turned out elisa wasn't even elisa but a friend of hers that looked like her. Apparently he wasn't the only one with dopplegangers. He chuckled, smiling to her softly "I suppose we were indeed" He still was always happy to be around elisa so he supposed it couldn't be all bad "Still I am with you so I do not believe this to be, as the youth here say, a bad joke" He then turned to see the door locked then turned to see the food and drinks. He then replied "I guess your friends are forcing us to have a date since this war is forcing us not to" He then pulled her close, giving her hand a kiss before gentlemanly sitting her down before sitting himself down.

Elisa shrugged.

"I guess they are. I'm kind of disappointed it was forced on us but I know we've both been busy." Said Elisa.

She blushed as he kissed her hand and helped her sit down before sitting in the other chair. He was such a gentleman and so different from most guys from this time. Or at least this world.

"So what have you been up to lately?" asked Elisa.

"Perhaps they are just trying to help. Well we are here together and that is what matters" Hal replied, smiling to her. He was glad to be with her, everytime he was with her everything seemed right. So this situation was much easier to handle with her. He felt like he could have the entire world crash down and he would STILL be happy with Elisa. He then smiled more, pointing to his head and scratching his own cheek "Well other than shaving and cutting my hair, I have been training a lot more than I did previously. I feel I must get stronger since this war is going to take a while" He then held her hand again, rubbing his fingers against it lovingly "What about you, my dear elisa?"

Elisa shrugged.

"Perhaps. Still feels annoying to have people butting in though." said Elisa.

Elisa grinned.

"Trying to look less like Loki? I suppose I can't blame you. Especially after what I heard what Thor did. I gave that god a piece of my mind for attacking without knowing who you really were." said Elisa.

She smirked as the look on Thor's face had been priceless but he did seem sorry and he'd try to do better.

"Not much I suppose. Well being on the council here we mostly go after battle plans ande strategies. Ways to make our two bases safer." said Elisa.

She shrugged.

"I guess we should probably avoid talking about the war. For awhile anyway. Dates are supposed to be fun after all. Right?" said Elisa.

She grinned.

"I did want to hang out with you again but I was so busy. And didn't want to bother you if you were in the middle of something. I guess I just never found the right time." said Elisa.

Hal shrugged but also nodded in agreement at the aspect of the others being a bit annoying. They could be. Hal nodded at the idea of looking less like loki, with the shaven haircut and the much better shaved look, he would look a little less like loki for sure. He then listened as elisa expressed that she got angry at thor, and it was kind of understandable but hal paid no mind to it "Oh he and I reconciled over the whole thing. I cannot blame him for his actions. He genuinely believed it was his brother. I forgave him over it"

"Yes. It makes sense you are in the council. You're brilliant" Hal said with a affectionate smile. He then blushed realizing they were talking more about the war than each other "I apologize. You are correct. I suppose the war really does take a lot of our time. But you're right this is meant to be fun. Let us talk about other things. What do you wish to talk about?" Hal was a bit lost. He was so focused on his own problems he didn't really realize he was neglecting his own need to have a good time. He then held her hands tightly, feeling guilty for somewhat ignoring her and replied "I am very sorry. It is not your fault elisa. I was focused on myself a bit too much. But that ends now. I promise to make time for the two of us. We must do this more often, because I adore the time I share with you" He then replied looking down at the food then looking at her "We should try this before it gets cold"

Elisa nodded.

"Good. I'm glad to hear that." said Elisa.

She blushed at his praise and grinned.

"I'm glad you noticed." said Elisa.

Elisa chuckled.

"Well, I wouldn't say being locked in a room together is fun. But at least we're together." said Elisa.

Elisa smiled.

"It's alright. We've both had a lot on our mind. All of us. People getting kidnapped, or hurt. We're kind of lucky that we've only had one death so far. Sure many have been hurt physically, mentally, or both. But at least we're alive." said Elisa.

Elisa glanced down at the food and smiled.

"I guess so." said Elisa.

[Henry V/Hal]

Hal smiled back as elisa expressed relief, then he blushed a bit as elisa commented she was glad he noticed her skill "Of course I noticed. Why wouldn't I? You are immensely intelligent" Hal chuckled as elisa commented that being locked in a room wasn't fun. But hey, they were together. "They felt like there was no other option. But yes, being with you makes it all worth it" Hal replied, smiling to her fondly. He then nodded as elisa commented they were lucky. Sure they got hurt, they got emotionally manipulated, they got beaten but they still had their lives. Only one death was evident in this war. There seemed to be a unspoken agreement or maybe just pure luck that all of their members or at least most of their members were safe and alive.

"Indeed. Our lives are the most important thing. We can move forward from pain but not from death" Hal then paled a bit, realizing that elisa could've been hurt and if he was careless in his own self pity, he would've failed her. He secretly vowed then to always be there for her should she ask. He then turned to the food and ate some of it and nodded approvingly "This is a fine meal. I quite like it"

Elisa grinned.

"Thank you again. I guess we've been apart so long I'm just grateful it didn't ruin what we had. Relationships do take some work but it also takes two to tango. If one of was busy, it'd be bad enough. But both of us? We need to make time. All the couples in this army do really. Even if it's just a meal like this. Or just a couple hours watching a movie." said Elisa.

Elisa nodded.

"Although with the number of supernatural creatures in this war it wouldn't surprise if Holli does pop again one day. I mean many members of our armies died in their world before coming here. So if they can be resurrected and brought here then perhaps people can be resurrected even after they are here." said Elisa.

She at least hoped so. It was hard enough when they'd thought they'd lost Ma-Ti. It brought back that quest for the gauntlet and all the craziness that had happened. Not all the memories of that adventure had been good ones. And with Malachite back that didn't help. Thankfully Ma-Ti was still here but none of them would be happy if they ran into Malachite again. As well as what he 'd done to Leonardo. Hopefully, they could free him one day.

Elisa nodded as she tried the food herself.

"Yes. It is." said Elisa.

She grinned as she kept eating.

"You are right, my dear. You are absolutely right. We must make more time for ourselves. To keep our relationship strong. I care not what we do so long as I am beside you doing it" Hal sincerely replied. He did feel like a bad boyfriend to not spend much time with her. He would change that. He would definitely more than make up for it. He then paled at the thought of what elisa said. That dead people could always, always come back. He knew that to be true for he indeed was brought back from the dead. By Facilier. But he left facilier to seek a better freedom. He sighed "That is very true. Sometimes the dead truly do not stay dead"

He then continued to eat and relaxed a bit. But then the thoughts of facilier managed to slip through his mind. He then shuddered at it and finally replied "Elisa. I must tell you something about facilier. I--I must tell you something I know about him" He was going to reference he was one of the few people that could bring people he wished from any place to bring back to life and not just people from this world. And tell her he was the reason hal was here.

Elisa nodded.

"I guess all the couples here are suffering similar problems. Doesn't matter here if you're a week or months. This war takes a toll on all of us. And everyone's going to want free time not just for dates but hanging out with friends." said Elisa .

She sighed.

"Unfortunately it is only good for the villain sides. They have ways to revive the dead but far as I know we don't. Genies can't revive the dead. And we have one free genie and one still tied to a lamp. Others like Maleficent are powerful but even resurrection could be beyond their powers." said Elisa.

She paused at his words.

"What could you know about him?" asked Elisa, curiously.
