From one weird situation to the next[open]

Abbie looked around herself and sighed lost in thoughts. She tried to find out what had happened and how did she possibly get there. Abbie was sure that it was over for her and truth be told she accepted that. If it meant Ichabod, her sister Jenny and others were safe; then she was fine by that. Abbie didn't want to die, but she knew it was the right thing for her to do. It was the only way, and she accepted that. Abbie had no other choice in the matter because she was dying by then, to say the least. However, she was sure then she would either disappear or go to heaven or anything like that, but she never expected what happened next, as she found herself disappear only to end up, who knows where. Abbie sighed as he wondered what happened. The longer that passed, the more sure she was that she was alive, and it was all real, but that was all she knew. Abbie picked a direction and headed there, as she hoped to find someone who could help her figure everything out, as the longer passed, the more confused she was. She looked around herself as she walked, in order to find someone to help her out. Abbie refused to give up as she was sure that she would find someone to help her out.

[Dr. Carol Block]

Dr. Block, Magnus and Roger Rabbit all came out to help the poor lost woman. Dr. Block was first to go over and replied "You must be lost. Allow me to help you. I'm a scientist. I'm Dr. Block. These are my friends Roger and Magnus"

It had been quite a while since his capture but Magnus felt absolutely relieved to at least be in a safe space again. After some isolation, he got some peer pressure to make himself well known again. He supposed he should start here. Magnus gave a forced smile and a wave before replying "Pleasure. Welcome. Make yourself at home miss"

"Yes! Pppppplease! Make yourself at home! Don't worry about me being a rabbit, I'm a toon. And everyone here, including yourself, have been transported! A long story, come come we'll explain everything" Roger replied, more excited than his peers. He again felt it right to be as welcoming as possible.

Abbie looked around as she walked for a bit longer. She then atopped as she saw 3 people or beings at least, not too far from her as she watched them walk over to help her or at least it seemed that way to her. Abbie watched them do so one at a time, as she sighed to that. She listened to thd young woman who spoke to her first. Abbie looked down and back over at her and sighed to that. As she listened to her, she looked over at the other two with her and after that, she looked back at her. Abbie nodded in understandment. She looked down for a bit and after that, she simply looked between them and sighed to that.

"I am lost. More than you would ever know! Believe me. Thanks! I would appericiate all the help I can get. I am sorry?! A scientist? What I went through science can't explain nor fix. I afraid! A doctor? Like doctor doctor or like scientice doctor in general? I do not need a doctor. Not a shrink or such, at least! Hello there! Nice to meet you, Dr Block. I I am Abbie. Nice to meet you Magnus and Roger too,"

Abbie then looked over and one of the guys and sighed. She watched the guy closely and hoped that he was alright. To Abbie the guy seemed half there and half away as she was worried about it. She looked around and back at him, as she sighed to that. Abbie knew that they only just met but she still hoped that he was alright. As she was a good person after all. Abbie smiled back at him. However, it was still obvious that she felt bad for him. She just hoped that she felt bad for the right person. Also, Abbie was sure that it was thr case but tried her best to be careful just the same. She listened to him as he spoke. Abbie let him finish before she spoke to him.

"Thank you. It is nice to meet you too! Thank you again and will do. Also, I am new here and very much confused! Do you know where am I? How did I get here? And anything else that might help me understand what is going on with me? I died or it seemed like I did and the next thing I know, I am right here. Can you or anyone of you, explain that to me? I am completely lost. Which believe it or not, it definitely says a lot! I had weird things similiar to that happen before, but nothing like that. I have no idea how to explain it or fix it! Do you? Unless you or all of you are in the same situation. Are you? Any of you? Or is it just me? You probably think I am crazy huh? Never mind that. Just forget that I asked that! Alright? It will help to forget about it. As I am not crazy after all, and that will probably get you to think the opposite! Doesn't it? I am used to that, believe me. Not the first time and doubfully it is the last time,"

Abbie looked at the bunny/rabbit as she listened to him rather confused. She was surprised that he spoke. He seemed cartoonish and Abbie never anyone like him that talk. She didn't even know that anything like that was even possible. Abbie blinked a few times, only to realize that she didn't imagine any of it. She wondered how was it even possible, as she listened to him. Abbie looked him over as she wondered how to explain it all. The longer that passed the more confused she had became. The fact that the rabbit guy said that he was a toon, dixn't make things any better. At least, not to Abbie, anyway. If anything it was way more confusing to Abbie. Also, the fact that he said that they were all transported there, didn't help much but it answered some questions. As it also, made Abbie realize that she didn't sound crazy or were crazy, which was good but she was still confused there. She was confused by the fact that he made one word longer than the others but she let that be. For the time being anyway, as Abbie had nothing she could do about it, at the moment anyway. Besides, it was no big deal. Abbie was sure of it.

"Alright then. Thank you! I shall do that or at least try to. Where am I? Or where are we to be exact? Um a toon? A toon rabbit? This is strange. Had no idea that anything like that can actually be real! I have never in my life met anyone like you. In your world/reality a rabbit, a toon is real and it makes sense that you can talk but it it isn't the same thing everywhere! Just so you know. Aren't you surprised that you are talking to people? Humans? Aren't you surprised that we are peoole and not toons like you? Everyone? Like everyone everyone? You too huh? And how is it all possible? Sounds long and complicated. And come where too? I am near the three of you as you are near me. Where else should I go? How long is long?"

Abbie watched him closely as she said that. She looked around and back over. Abbie waited for him or all of them to lead her wherever they wanted her to go. So that they could explain it all to her. So far, the longer that had passed the morw confused Abbie was. Abbie didn't like feeling that way but she still did, and unfortunately it didn't seem to get better. At all. Abbie wanted answers and she hoped to get those as soon as possible. She agree to follow them as long as they were good people and could give her the needed answers.

[Magnus Martinsson]

"Scientist is basically a science doctor, dear. Strictly physics, chemical and technology expertise" Dr. Block replied. She then adjusted her glasses and replied "My dear, as of now, I'm seeing plenty of things that are logically impossible. I'm afraid you'll just have to trust me for the moment. As of now, you are a victim of reality transportation conjured by one known as Insano. Why he does these things I have no clue but it is a scientific abomination that must be destroyed" She made a tisk-tisk-tisk noise before adjusting her glasses again. She then chuckled to Magnus and Roger as they tried to help also. She turned to Abbie and smiled calmly. If there was one thing she was good with, it was being the smart one. Assuring her in the most logical way she knew how was included in being smart. She replied calmly "I assure you, although it may take months or even years you will go home for sure with the help of our technology and/or magic"

"Well like Dr. Block said, the lot of us are trapped here in Chicago thanks to this scientist who made this crazy machine. All of it sounds impossible and maybe even insane but it's true. I've been here for a while. Believe me, I'm a cynical person but it's true. All true" Magnus replied, feeling a little more at ease with Abbie. Something about her presence made him feel a bit calmer. Like being with Kim or Linksano. He then gave a quick double take as she explained she was resurrected. After some composure, he replied assuringly "Listen miss, you're actually not the first person here who got resurrected from the dead. My friend Hal was resurrected, so no you're not sounding crazy. You honestly sound pretty normal by this point"

He then explained a bit more to abbie to what was happening "The machine that brings people here can also bring people back from the dead. From other times or periods except this one right here" He sighed, shrugging "Don't ask me how or why"

Roger nodded proudly as she asked him if he was a toon. He took pride in his heritage despite the persecution he had to go through. He replied happily "Oh yes, I'm a toon. A proud one at that. I've been in many animated cartoons for over ten years. Rough sssstuff sometimes but that's part of the job" He then shook his head at her other questions "Oh no, no no, I adore people. I love to make them laugh" He then got a clown nose and squeaked it to prove his point. He then replied with a sympathetic face as Block said it would take a long time to get home "Well as smart as you are Dr. Block, we don't know if it'll be months or years. It's all unknown. Don't worry about it abbie, we'll get you home safe and sound"

Abbie listened to what the person said and sighed to that. She more or less understood that but didn't get how science could possibly explain that. As far as Abbie was concerned, it couldn't explain what she went through. As she saw no way that a scientist could build something to bring others here. As it seemed impossible or at least it did to Abbie. The longer passed the more she was sure that magic was behind it and not science. Abbie more or less knew what science was, even if she knew nothing about it. However, somehow she just doubted that science was behind it. Abbie knew that she could be wrong, even if she doubted that she was. Unknown to her, she was in fact wrong about it.

"Alright. That I get but what science has to do with it? Alright then. Are you saying that it what caused it to happen? How can magic do something like that? Isn't it more magic than science? Unless this universe got developed more than others. Wait, is it what you are saying? Or is it something else completely? I am really confused now. Is science or magic behind it?"

She watched her as he listened to her once more. Abbie sighed and shook her head. The situation was very confusing to her, no matter what. Abbie witnessed so much craziness and creepy things being a witness, one of two. But that was more than she ever expected. What Abbie went through noe and found out now, things wete weirder than she expected. She never expected something weird like that to happen, and science would be blamed for it, until that moment. Magic and supernatural made more sense to Abbie in cases like that but not science. Which was weird as before her life went crazy she expected a normal explanation to the things she witnessed. Hell, Abbie would have believed it had a scientific explanation but not anymore. Especially not after all that she had went through. Abbie now had no idea what to believe and what not to believe. It all confused her a great deal, to say the least. Abbie looked around and then back at her, as she continued to listen to her.

"Really? You are? And you accept it as such? Well, I have seen a lot of things that are supposed to be impossible. None of those are like that so, trust me! Probably just as bad if not worse. I shall trust you! As you seem trust worthy but how science can be behind it? And really? I am? Just me or there are others? An evil scientist made a scientific transportation device? That what transported me here? Or is this insano someone who stole or created it from thin air? Well, he is insane for one. And definitely sounds like it but after everyone is back where they belong, not before that or we are stuck here for good, which isn't am option at all,"

Abbie watched her closely for a bit and watched her reaction to the others that tried to help, as she picked up an eyebrow. Somewhat amused herselg too and sighed to that. Abbie watched her closely once more as she listened to what she said next and nodded to her. She was glad that the other woman didn't sugar sweeted it but was grateful for her honestly just the same.

"I see. Well, thank you for your honesty and not sugar coating! Also, going back would mean dying again but I do accept it. Like I accepted it before! Well, I will help you stop those behind it once more as I am good at that. I love helping! Well, there is a chance going back home. So at least that! Also, I wish it would be before my death but it is doubtful but to save the world, it works for me. But it is besides the point! I will do all I can to help you here too. Like I helped back home, which is a lot,"

Abbie listened to Magnus and picked up an eyebrow. It sounded like he said that the world was called Chicago. Even if she knew it wasn't what he meant at all. Abbie let him finish as she spoke to him after that, and after she spoke once more to Dr Block. She looked around and back at him once more.

"You do realize that the way you just said that sound like this whole world is called Chicago and not just the city, Right? And I see. It is kinda ironic that the crazy scientist's name is Insano and Insano is insane, also known as crazy! I don't think his parents ever really loved him at all. Not that I am surprisef or anything! His machine is as crazy as him. It does but I believe you! Funny thing is the old me would have rather that be a reason for some of the crazy things I lived through but the new or somewhat new me is rather the supernatural and magic explanation, as this is my new way of thinking but on other hand normal and science is better because the supernatural and magic scares me! Does it makes sense? Oh, and all in all I do rather the science and normal explanation to the other kind. As I miss being normal but in some ways I do enjoy my newer life, except the dying! That part sucks as hell. After all I went through! I am not sure what is possible and impossible anymore. Really? I am sorry to hear that and is that so? Well, I was different myself until a man from the past woke up from slumber with an evil being, who changed my prespective of things, so in some ways I get you,"

Abbie watched him and sighed. Her crazy life took a new turn of crazy. Abbie thought that what she went through before was crazy enough but that was the icying on the cake. So to speak. Abbie had no idea that there was any crazier, on other hand why was she do surprised and confused? Her life weren't that normal in the first place, even if she tried to deny that the best she possibly could.

Abbie watched his reaction after she said the next and sighed to that. She shrugged to that. Abbie had no intention of scarying anyond but she felt like she could trust them. Truth be told she wasn't surprised by the reaction Magnus had, given the fact that it was more or less the reaction she herself had when she found out. Abbie spoke and then listened to him and sighed to that. She was relieved that he wasn't hostile to her or anything like that. Abbie was surprised to learn that lately that was normal and that she wasn't the only one ressurected. She wasn't sure what to think or how to react at first. That was new or so she thought.

"Really? He showed up here after dying in his world too? Or your world anyway? Seriously? I am not the only one? I am disappointed as that means I am not special. Joke! Seriously so, jokes aside, this is interesting. And I see! I am sorry that I scared you by the way. No hard feelings right? I am still me even if I am ressurected and I am a good person, no worries there. How many people got ressurected so far? Just me snd your friend or are there more than that? Hoa does that device/ machine manages to ressurect people? This makes no sense and it is very strange as well as confusing, especially since I have never heard of that before and I heard as well as witnesses a lot of things in my life but nothing like that, I assure you. Similiar yes but not exactly like that so! Believe it or not."

Abbie listened to him as he explained it more. She was confused but sighed as she nodded in understanding. Whatever that machine/device was it was more dangerous than Abbie originally thought. Not that she was too surprised by it or anything like that. Abbie looked at them all and sighed to that. She never heard of it. Nothing should have surprised Abbie anymore and yet that did. It was all more than she had ever expected. Abbie sighed as she looked around and back at him. She shook her head not at him judt in general. The guy that created the device/machine was definitely a mental patient that belonged in a mental instituation. Or so she thought.

"Oh man,this guy is massed up big time and belongs in a mental instituation. How the hell did he build that thing in the first place? Who the hell told him it was the tight thing to do? That person belongs in the mental instituation himself. There is no doubt there! How did he know how to make that thing? We need to destroy it once and for all. Something like that isn't allowed to exist in any world/reality/ universe! That is for sure. What the hell is wrong with those people? Don't they get that things like that are forbidden. I thought a lot of people in my world were the only mental like that but clearly I was wrong! This takes crazy to a whole new level of it,"

Abbie looked at Roger as she watched him as she asked him if he was a toon. She then listened to him as he replied to him. Abbie thought that he was cute. Not cute as someone she wanted to be with, of course but cute in general kind of deal that didn't involve a crush or anything like that. Abbie was glad that he was proud of who he was, as it was rare but a good thing. People should always be proud of who they are, except of they were criminals or anything like that, that is but that was besides the point.

"That is cool. I grew up on cartoons back home, more or less! The town of Sleepy Hollow, isn't boring in it's own but there are many times when there is nothing to do. Also, lately before death I watched other things but still! And it is impressive that you were in many animated things. You are definitely impressive, which definitely says a lot, which is a good thing! Life tends to have tough situations and what not but that is part of it, just like jobs pretty much, believe it or not, but it is definitely the truth, just the same. That is just the way things are, what can we do? My life weren't different but more crazy and creepy, to say the least,"

Abbie watched his reaction to her other questions, as she was impressed. She then listened to his reply, surprised but also rather relived by that. Abbie looked around and back at him. She then watched him for a while, as she listened to him and sighed to that. Abbie was glad that she met the three she spoke to at that moment, as friends as they were great people or so she thought.

"Well, that is good to know. That is also impressive! With whom do you like to work with more? Or you don't have favorits? I have never met a cartoon before, so it is quite a shock, believe me. After all, I went through this is the closest to real normal I can get! Sort off as cartoons aren't real where I am but I am sure you get what I mean, don't you?"

"Good that you love making people laugh," Abbie said to him. She laughed as she watched what he did next. Abbie shook her head rather amused by it. She never expected to see it but she did find it amusing just the same. There was no doubt there, at least not to Abbie. "You are deginitely funny, so that definitely works for you, well dobe," she said to him.

Abbie looked at Roger and Dr Block, then back at him. She listened to him. Abbie glanced over at Dr Block and back at him as she sighed to that. She looked down and back at him. As Roger said the last part to her, she watched him and nodded to that.

"Thank you. I sure hooe so! Not that I doubt you but still. Also, going back I will be gone but it is fine! I made the right choice and would do it all over again, if I had to. It was a secrifice but the kind I had to make for the good of the world! At first I had no idea that I had to make it but when I realized it I was dying already, so I accepted it and moved on or so I thought, until I showed up here. I know it souds bad but I had to do that! Being who I am back home and all. This was the price to pay but I am glad I lived before that and was somebody before I died! I regret not telling Ichabod Crane how I truly felt but it is fine. I was upset about dying but I was happy that I got to leave, at least for a bit,"

[Dr. Carol Block]

"Dr. Insano, as crazy as he is, is a pioneer of science. He somehow used his talents for these evil purposes. Believe me Miss Mills, if I knew how this was possible I would know how to destroy it. Also yes you are not the only one who has been resurrected from the dead. Science is behind the transporter but magic IS being used to help take over. So to be clear science caused this but science will also get rid of it" Dr. Block patiently responded, glad Abbie believed her. Although she had questions, she seemed not too confused by the possibility of being transported. She was more confused to how it happened. And that was the only thing Dr. Block wasn't too sure about.

"He is working for Ask Thatguy who is almost as insane as he is. He wishes to control the world with a iron fist. You're right. They all belong in prison or a mental asylum. But right now, they overpower us, we need a lot of help dear" Dr. Block replied, sadly and almost fearfully.

"Nope. Sorry, you're not the only one" Magnus chuckled at Abbie's joke. He did admire the fact she had a sense of humor. He wouldn't have one in her position, so it was quite refreshing to see. Magnus then replied "I lost count. But I believe you have a good heart. You're safe with us. We could use the help and we're your best bet to get back home" He then turned to see Roger talk to her also

"Oh all children should have cartoons or laughter in their life. I'm glad you got that. But pppplease, enough about me. Let's get you inside where it's safe" Roger then gulped a little as Dr. Block kept talking about their enemies. Roger then replied "Oh I've heard of sleepy hollow. Quite a strange place. And I'm a toon so that's saying a lot!"
