Figuring things out and relaxing(open)

(April 8th, afternoon)

Richard lay in bed for a few hours, then got up and put his pants and shirt on. He then took a quick shower and changed clothes. After that, he went to the kitchen as soon as he dried himself and put the towel where it was needed to dry. Once in the kitchen Richard made himself some coffee and a sandwich as he set down and relaxed. He tried to figure things out as he set there. Richard wasn't that new in this strange place but all in all he waa still new. Just not as new as some. However, to say that Richard understood where he was won't be exactly true, as it was all still confusing to him. Also, he was sure that eventually he will understand it more, and it would be less confusing to him. Richard had no idea when would that happen but he was sure that it would. He hoped to get back home soon because he missed his family and missed working on ways to clear his name.

Truth be told, though, here was a bit better in away. As Richard wasn't wanted here, so he didn't need to move from place to place or run. Which was a plus. Here Richard could go by his real name and not worry about anything which was good. Granted, Richard still had nightmares of the day his wife was murdered but that was a given. It was obvious that it would be that way. Richard knew that it will be that way for a long time, until slowly it will disappear. Whenever it would happen. For the time being, Richard thought of other things, as from time to time he looked around. After he was done eating and drinking, he washed the plate as wrll as the cup, as he put both away. Then Richard went for a walk inside the building, as he tried to figure things out abf relax.

[Prince Rupert/Magic Mirror]

Rupert walked into the kitchen dressed in a red T-shirt and a pair of red shorts. He was still getting used to wearing these modern clothes. First he had a prince in an ancient world compared to this and then trapped in a magic mirror for so long. But now he was glad to be able to walk around again. He waved to Richard as he'd seen him around but couldn't remember if they'd spoken or not. So many people kept arriving it was hard to keep track.

"Hello. I'm Rupert. I don't think we've met yet but if we have then it's good to see you again." said Rupert.

Nostalgia Chick walked out next dressed in a blue T-shirt and blue jeans. She spotted the pair and smiled.

"Hello. Rupert." said Chick.

She glanced at the other man.

"I'm Nostalgia Chick one of the leaders of the army here. Welcome." said Nostalgia Chick.

[Raphael]

Donatello and Raphael were chatting on their way to getting food when Richard entered the picture. Then Rupert and chick were there. The two turtles went over to introduce themselves too, mostly to get acquainted with their newest members. Raphael was simple and straightforward "Hey new guy, name's Raphael. That's my brother donatello. Don't mind us, it's a long story" He then went to get some water and a apple.

Donatello laughed a little at Raphael's blunt introduction "What my brother said, he's raphael, I'm donatello. We're mutants, that's why we look the way we do. Don't freak out" He then turned to rupert and Chick "Hey you two, nice to see you both this afternoon" He then pondered with his fingers "Slow day today, which is nice"

Richard looked up as someone walked in and as the person waved to him, he waved back. He saw the guy around but he was still surprised that he was in the same world with cartoonish characters. Not that Richard thought it was horrible but he did think it was strange and confusing as he wasn't used to that after all.  He was sure that sooner or later he will get usef to it. However, it was all more than Richard ever expected. To say the least.  Richard just had no idea when. Also, he didn't remember if he talked to the guy or not, as he saw around many people while there, but had no idea whom he talked to snd whom he had still to talk to. If Richard was already there he figured he should make friends as he had no doubt that he would be there for sometime. Even if it wasn't easy for him for him to do, due to his personality but he planned to try. Richard listened to the guy closely.

"Nice to meet you, Rupert. If we have met officially before then it is definitely good to see you again too! Of course. There is so many people here that it is hard to keep track, doesn't it?  Some people you know for sure and others not so much. Who knows maybe eventually we will get used to it and would be able to remember with whom we talked to and with whom we haven't yet but we all need time for that, which is exactly what we got, as we are stuck here, who knows for how long,"

He looked over as he saw someone else walk in and sighed to that. Richard listened to her speak to the other guy in the room and after that he listened to her speak to him. He nodded to her as he gave her and Rupert a smile. They both seemed rather kind and nice which was a good thing or so he thought at least.

"Nice to meet you, Nostalgia  Chick. I am Richard! Interesting name you got here and thanks for the welcome. Also, I haven't arrived today! I am here for a while, I just rarely walked out of my room here and I walked outside a lot and such. Everyone is usually busy when I am not so we missed each other, as that is how it works huh? I have seen Rupert around and many others but I haven't talked to everyone so. I haven't seen you or met you, until now but I met Nostalgia Critic the day I arrived! If I am not mistaken he is your boyfriend and the leader here, together with you. Right?"

Richard looked over at the others in the room, whom he only noticed now as he smiled over. He was confused that they were turtles that looked differently than most turtles he seen.  Richard watched them confused and sighed, as he listened to one of the two speak as he watched him confused. He wasn't sure  what to think. Then again Richard knew that it was one of the things he needed to get used to, among other things. It was one of the things that was hard to get used to but he believed that eventually, sooner or later he will get used to it.

"Hello to you both. I am Richard, nice to meet you both! I am still new but I haven't arrived today but two days ago, give or take. Also, granted it still counts as new just not as new as some others but I am new! I barely walked out of my room and I missed many people as you all most likely were busy with other things at those times but at least we have met now, better than nothing, isn't it? And ok then"

Richard then turned to the other one of the two, as he listened to him confused as he spoke. He wasn't sure what he meant by what he said. As in Richard didn't understand the mutant part but the rest he did understand so.

"That part I got. Nice to meet you both! I am Richard and what do you mean mutants? How did that happened? Are you two alright? And I am not so much terrried as in confused but I will get used to that, eventually. I need time but eventually I will get used to everything! Even if I am here for two days so far, everything is still new to me. This is usually how it works anyway, isn't it? It is rather interesting so,"

Richard watched him and the others, as he got himself more coffee and food after he was done and dug in. He let them talk as he just set there lost in thoughts.

Rupert smiled at the two turtles.

"Welcome noble warriors." said Rupert.

He smiled at Richard.

"It's quiet alright. We met once but you've had a lot to process since coming here." said Rupert.

Nostalgia Chick smiled.

"Hey Donatello. Hey Raphael." said Chick.

She glanced at Richard.

"Thank you." said Chick.

She nodded.

"Well I'm glad you're here." said Chick.

She nodded and grinned.

"Yes he is. We're kind of co-leaders here." said Chick.
