Relaxing inside the building(open)

(April 4th, afternoon)

Clark walked out of his room and walked around the place. He tried to relax. Clark wished that his wife was there too. Even so, partly he was glad that she wasn't because it was too dangerous but on other hand he was upset by it, because he needed her. Clark wasn't sure if she would ever be brought there or not, but if she got brought there then he hoped that she would be in the good side and not a slave or such in one of the bad guys armies or it won't end well. That much he knew for sure. Clark was worried but he did his best to think positively as he sighed to that. He looked around himself as he walked. Clark was glad that so far, while he was there they weren't attacked. Even so, he was worried what their enemies were up to but for now he tried to think better thoughts than that. Clark was bored but as he walked he tried his best to relax, while he thought positive things. Even if it was hard to do, he continued to try as nothing else was an option. Once in a while Clark imagined his family being there but it took a while until he realized that they weren't there, as he sighed to that and continued to walk.

[Queen Grimhilde]

Ruber walked out seeing Clark and smiled waving to the man.

"Good afternoon. I am Ruber. I haven't seen you around before. Welcome." said Ruber.

He glanced at the queen giving a bow.

"Good afternoon your highness." said Ruber.

Grimhilde walked out next still in her usual royal attire. And smiled seeing Clark again.

"It's good to see you again Clark. I hope you're adjusting well to this world. If I can be of any help let me know." said Grimhilde.

She smiled at Ruber's bow.

'Thank you but you don't have to bow every time I come into a room. I'm not as vain as I used to be. This war has changed me a bit." said Grimhilde.

[Steve Rogers/Captain America]

Steve came in and saw Clark a bit reserved and stressed. Steve immediately could tell what was wrong. Trying to be more friendly due to meeting him before. He gave a quick wave hello to Ruber and Grimhilde before turning to clark cautiously "Hey clark, how you holding up?" He then turned to see James come not long after him and said hello too.

James was a bit bored with the day. He turned to see Clark stressed and decided to try to make him feel more welcome. He gave a gentlemanly bow to both of the others and a firm salute to Steve, knowing his rank in the army. He turned to clark and replied "Well it is good to see you about the place. Make yourself at home here"

Clark looked over as he saw Ruber and sighed. As he gave him a slight smile and waved back at him. Clark listened to him as he nodded to him. He looked down and back at him as he was grateful for the welcome, even if he missed his family a great deal. However, the fact that Clark didn't hear that his family weren't caught by one of the other armies made it slightly better, even if not by much given the fact that he was still away from there but at least he had hope that he would see him again.

"Hello Ruber. Good afternoon to you too! Nice to meet you, I am Clark Kent. And thanks for the welcom! You are right we haven't met before until now. Even if I didn't arrive today but thank you for the welcome just the same! I am sorry I am not in a better mood, it is just that I miss my family and friends whom I too consider as family. I wonder if I will ever see any of them again or have I lost them for good! I hope I will see them again,"

Clark watched as Grimhilde showed up as he watched both her and Ruber as he sighed to that. The longer he was there the more he trusted his team but still he tried his best not to get his guard down completely just in case, until he knew for sure that they could indeed be trusted and he wasn't being tricked or such. Even so, so far it didn't lool like Clark was being fooled but he was careful just the same. As he was still new there even if not too new.
 
Clark watched her address him first as he nodded to her in respect, even if  unlike Ruber he didn't bow to her. He looked around and back at her as he listened to her and let her  finish before he spoke to her. Clark sighed as he looked down and back at her once more, while he continued to listen to her speak. He gave her a slight smile back.

"It's good to see you again, Grimhilde.  I am adjusting but not sure how well yet! I am still having trouble but eventually it will get slightly easier, won't it? Thank you. I sure will keep you posted about it. I miss my family and friends but it is understandible! The place is fine even if it's not the same as back home but it's fine, other than the fact that I am the only one here from my world;" 

He then watched her talk to Ruber and sighed. Clark looked down and back at them. He stood there lost in thoughts as he let them talk. Clark hoped that him being there didn't intrupt them or anything like that, as that wasn't at all what he had in mind. He didn't want trouble nor to intrupt anyone no matter what.

 Clark watched Steve show up and watched him, as he sighed. He shook his head from the thoughts that run in his head. Clark looked down and back at him as he listened to Steve and sighed. They met before so he knew the guy, even if they weren't friends or best friends. He sas sure that one day eventually they will be friends if they would still be there and by the way thinks looked, most likely it would be the case. Clark had no doubt about that. Even if he hated that idea a great deal. As in he hated the idea of being stuck there, no more nor less.

"Hey to you too, Steve and bordeline at the moment. Sorry for before! In case I said aomething wrong or something like that. It is all so new to me and confusing! I need more time to get used to it all. I am holding up as much as it can be expected! I am a bit better than before but unfortunately, not by much just yet but it will be better eventually,"

Clark said as he watched James walk in. He looked at them all and sighed. Clark took one day at a time. He knew it would take some time for him to get used to all of that. Clark missed home but he knew that for now this place  was his new home. He had no idea for how long but he tried his best not to think about that. For the time being, at least as it made Clark feel worse and he definitely hated that a great deal.

"Thanks. I mean if I am here I might get myself comftable and familiar with the place, right? It is hard to feel comftable or get familiar with the place but at least I try, right? I am trying to make myself feel like home but it is hatd. I need time before I could be familiar with the place or even feel comftable and like at home but eventually it will happen, right? I need to wait patiently for that. Don't I? Which is what I am trying to do, even if it is rather hard for me to do,"

[Steve Rogers/Captain America]

"Don't worry about that, it's all good. Most new guys can't really comprehend what happened. You reacted pretty calmly for most people" Steve replied, he understood because he had been in clark's place many times before. Steve didn't really have any resentments. Hopefully with time he and clark could actually become friends. And with even more luck, clark would be the first to go home. He then turned to the others as they talked to clark.

James smiled with a curt nod as Clark commented it'd be best to be comfortable. James couldn't help but agree to a extent. It wasn't like he had a chose in the matter. He then replied calmly "You will feel more at home here soon, Clark. I promise. It takes time and it is good to see you are trying to make the most of it" He then sighed softly "It's hard to get used to, I know. Believe me. Many things in this time are far different than my own. So I too have to get used to it"

[Queen Grimhilde]

Ruber smiled.

"Hello clark." said Ruber.

He waved as Steve and James arrive.

"Hello gentlemen." said Ruber.

Grimhilde smiled.

"I know it's hard. Many of us left friends and family behind. While others have found their lives better. I was dead in my world and then I found love here like so many did. Love that wouldn't have happened as some are from other worlds and times. This war has brought people together instead of pulling them apart like they hoped." said Grimhilde.

She smiled as Steve and James joined them.

"Hello." said Grimhilde.

She seen Steve and James around before but hadn't talked with either of them much.

Clark listened to Steve and sighed as he was grateful that he understood him and  he was relived that it wan't just him. "Thanks for understanding me. So it isn't just me who has trouble getting used to it? No surprise there. It is hard to get used to new places after all! It is hard to comperhend as it. It isn't something that happens everyday to each person! It only happens once in our lives and it's technically isn't supposed to happen! Surprisingly Lex or his kidd aren't behind it. Well, panicking won't really help me, would it?" He said and sighed as he looked around and back at him.  Clark actually slowly began to admire and respect Steve.  He looked at them all and sighed.

Clark listened to James next. He smiled back at him. Clark looked down and back at him. He listened to what he said next. "You think? I hope so. Given the fact that I am not going back home!  Things like that usually. And well this is all I can do," Clark said as he looked at him. He listened to what he said next. " It is very hard to do for sure. I believe me! All those who are new here feel that way, don't they? They are different than most of our timelines, aren't they? We all have to get used to it huh? Well all of us who are from different times and all, that is,"

Clark looked over at Ruber again and smiled at him. "Hello back, Ruber," he said to him. Clark then looked at them all as he smiled at them and sighed. He then looked down and back at them once more.

Clark then watched and listened to Grimhilde. He let her finish before he spoke again. "I am sure you do. As you are not from around here which is easy to tell! Many of us if not all of us. Well I am happy for those who found their lives better here! I think those should stay here for good, due to being happy here. As being happy is important after all! Isn't it? Aww. Well, then you were lucky! To be alive here and have a better life, if you do that is. Well, I am happt for you and those like you! As you deserve good lives. Better lives! Those that are pulled together are lucky but not all of us are that lucky,"  Clark said to her and sighed to that. 

He watched them all as he smiled to them talk to each other and sighed to that. Clark had no one. Sure nice people talk to him and that was good but it wasn't enough. Not to Clark at least, that was for sure.
