The Doctor Is In (Open)

[Dr. John Watson]

(ooc: April 13th. Morning.)

Watson had arrived the night before. He'd been captured and brainwashed into following Moriarty's orders. Despite this he still felt uneasy around him. He knew Moriarty wasn't the one in charge here and he knew even less about everyone else here. He had been surprised to learn Moriarty was involved with a very young man. But he'd held his tongue not wanting Moriarty to get angry at him. At least Mary and Holmes weren't here. He didn't want either of them hurt or to suffer like this. Not being a fighter he'd opted to be the army doctor which was one of the reasons they'd captured him. He'd learned there were medics but they had less experience but he was glad for the help. He paused looking up seeing several new allies. He smiled nervously at them including Moriarty's boyfriend and Malachite the man who'd forced him to stay here.

"Hello." said Watson, a bit nervous.

He smiled at everyone.

"Thank you for the welcome." said Watson.

Fat Cat walked out spying the doctor and grinned.

"Hello doc. Good to see you. I'm Fat Cat. One of the medics here.." said Fat Cat.

He was glad they finally had a doctor here. Magic could only heal so much and even they'd get tired from overdoing it. Or be the victims themselves.

Yuki walked out next spying Watson and Fat Cat. He grinned.

"Hello Dr. Watson. I'm Dr. Yuki Anderson. I've read many of your adventures you wrote about Holmes. You are very skilled author as well as a doctor. Perhaps you may find something fun to write about here as well." said Yuki.

Jason walked out spotting the new doctor. They were both in a similar boat forced to be here. Of course the spells on him had broken but he still had a cobra form. And he'd fallen for Moriarty. He coudln't leave him and he wouldn't abandon him. He knew he should try making more friends here as well. He figured the doctor might be a good way to start.

"Hello Dr. Watson. I'm Jason." said Jason.

Malachite grinned arriving seeing their newest recruit was doing well.

"I'm pleased to see you're adjusting quite well doctor. You fulfill your duties here and no harm will come to you. We'll make sure you're protected from the other armies." said Malachite.

[Harry Percy/Hotspur]

(OCC: I'm just a tiny bit confused. Is Jason human now or is he still a cobra? Sorry just curious)

Like many of the people in the lab, The Trickster, mischievously and Harry Percy both came in together. Moarte assisted a majority of the lab mostly to be a medical assistant when nobody else can. Even with Watson's arrival Moarte embraced the role of assistant. Moarte came towards the new doctor and replied, enthusiastic "Welcome, doctor! I am Moarte! I bid you welcome! And I hope you enjoy the lab here! It is quite useful to you, considering your profession, eh?" He turned to Harry who also introduced himself.

"Aye welcome doctor, call me harry or percy. It's nice ta have more men in the medical field" Harry Percy offered his hand for Watson to shake. He gave a kind, friendly grin and he turned to see Jason come over. The man had been much more social since being away from Zedd. And had been much closer with Moriarty. It was no doubt they were a item. Percy stayed right out of that. This was about Watson today

The trickster walked around Watson observantly "You seem nervous doctor, no need to be. We're all friends here I assure you" Trickster was somewhat unaware of Watson's situation, so Trickster just assumed this kid was plain new and nervous. Trickster grinned mischeviously, tempted to spook the doctor but he restrained himself. The trickster bowed and replied "I am the trickster. I bid you welcome. I hope you feel right at home"

[Dr. John Watson]

(ooc: yeah. something i wanted to keep but never got an onscreen reason for it. tried to get him to be a familiar to zedd but the character was dropped. then jafar but you never responded so gave up that idea. so kinda just settled on because he viewed moriarty as a mate his snake form stayed.)

John smiled at Moarte.

"Hello. I will try. At least our worlds aren't too different. Easier to adapt." said John.

He glanced at Harry and shook his hand.

"Hello Harry. I'm Dr. John Watson." said John.

He glanced at The Trickster.

"Being a slave makes me nervous of everyone. Moriarty was my enemy in my world. He made me his slave mostly to stick to it to my former business partner I assume. As long as I do my job as a doctor I guess everything will be alright." said John.

He didn't feel right at home but they were being nicer than he thought. And he realized they must not have known.

"I guess that wasn't common knowledge. Well you were bound to find out sooner or later." said John.

He smiled at everyone.

"Thank you for your kind words. I will adjust here the best I can." said Watson.

Jason walked up to the doctor.

"He's not your only master. Well he's my boyfriend and I'm going to make sure you're treated right. We have needed a trained doctor here for quite awhile. Magic can't always help us and the few medics we had here had very little training." said Jason.

Jason blushed at Yuki's words.

"I'm not that bad right?" said Jason.

Fat Cat nodded hearing Watson was a slave.

"Well that explains the nerves but don't worry. You'll fit right at home here." said Fat Cat.

Malachite nodded.

"Don't worry doctor. You will be treated fairly here. Moriarty won't harm you I don't think. He knows you're more useful to him and the army this way." said Malachite.

Yuki walked over to Harry giving him a kiss on the lips.

"Good to see you again my love." said Yuki.

He grinned as Jason admitted Moriarty was his boyfriend.

"It's about time. You two have been having staring at each other that I half expected you to go out at it in public." said Yuki.

Harry Percy/Hotspur

[Moarte]

(OCC: Oh my god I'm so sorry. If you still want, I can make jason Jafar's familiar so he'd turn into both cobra human and regular human. If you still want that is. Also I'll put moriarty in here soon, just not now)


Moarte nodded with a nice smile before Watson explained his situation. The ghoul bowed respectfully and replied "If it comforts you, doctor. My master is Facilier. But he is a kind master and approves of respecting each slave. So if moriarty disrespects you, you can always report to me. Consider me as a friend, dear doctor" Although Moarte liked his servitude, he understood why the doctor wasn't so keen. He turned to the others and nodded approvingly. He then shook the doctor's hand "We welcome each member with have with open arms doctor, tis our duty to protect those under our care"

Harry was suddenly kissed and the man became like a puppy as his love entered the picture. Harry held the doctor close and kissed his cheek multiple times "Why hello love, good to always see my smart and beautiful yuki" He held him close before listening to Watson. He then nodded to what Jason said "Aye doctor. We need people like you. You're very needed. Lots of us can't always keep ourselves healthy. I got a high respect for people like ye"

The Trickster nodded sympathetically. He then replied to the doctor "Then I can understand your nervousness, doctor. But fear not. We are a good, respectful group. We'll make sure you're taken care of. Your master might not have wanted anything against you. Rest assured though, if you need anything, you are welcome to ask" He then turned to listen to the others and chuckled at Jason "Well I suppose anyone could tell your feelings. It's all over your body language" He winked to the young man before turning to the others

[Dr. John Watson]

John smiled.

"So I'm not the only one with a master here?" asked John.

John nodded.

"I wouldn't want to get you into trouble but I appreciate the gesture." said John.

John smiled again.

"I am a doctor and it's my duty to help people. I may not here by choice but I will patch up wounds, heal diseases and anything else I can do as a doctor." said John.

John smiled at the couple amused at the pda and nodded.

"Thank you both." said John.

He glanced at the assembled group glad it wasn't as bad as he expected it to be here.

Yuki grinned as Harry returned his kissing.

"It's always good to see you too my love." said Yuki.

He nodded as he overheard Moarte and John's conversation.

"You are very welcome here doctor. Some here are forced to be servants or slaves but that's only a necessity. Can't have people joining other sides and stealing our secrets." said Yuki.

Jason blushed as Trickster confirmed what Yuki said.

"Great. So everyone could see how I felt about him? I guess I wasn't good at being subtle." said Jason.

[Harry Percy/Hotspur]

"No indeed. But many of our masters are kind rulers. I am positive Moriarty is no different" Moarte responded. Sure most experiences weren't similar to his own but he wanted the doctor to feel safe. They needed him. They needed his expertise in the medical field. They needed Watson. "Ah, nonsense, I'm undead. What's the point of not getting in trouble? But I can understand that you might not want to, my friend" Moarte nodded as Watson politely declined his offer. He then turned to the others glad John was feeling quite welcome

Harry smiled brightly as Yuki addressed him before turning to Watson once more "We're grateful for your service doctor, truly. Lots of us could use your skills. Especially in a time such as this" He then turned to Jason and replied cheerfully "Ah, think nothin' of it mate. We're happy for ya. It's nice to see our members happy"

"Being subtle is a skill that is learned. And very rarely is it learned well. No need to beat yourself up too badly about it" Trickster replied to Jason patiently. He wasn't being cruel or mean about it. He just wanted to show jason that hiding his feelings was the best source. He then turned to the doctor and replied with a nod "You're quite welcome, Doctor. Do make yourself as comfortable as you can"

[Dr. John Watson]

Watson sighed.

"We were enemies in my world. He tried to kill me and my wife. I think I was just made his slave to humiliate me and keep Moriarty happy. And force me to be the army doctor. I think if I were to end up dead Moriart wouldn't shed a tear at all. He's not kind. He's evil, cunning, manipulative, greedy. But never kind." said Watson.

He paused looking at him in surprise.

"Undead? You a ghost or something?" asked Watson confused.

He heard Yuki mention Holmes and felt sad realizing he would be right. Moriarty would throw this in Holmes's face the first change he got.

"I wish I could see him but I don't want to be forced to fight him." said Watson.

He heard Jason who had a similar story to him. He'd switched masters but his new master seemed to be a better offer. Then he froze realizing he wqas with Moriarty.

"You and Moriarty are together?" asked Watson.

Yuki smiled.

"I'm sure Moriarty will make your stay here as pleasant as possible as long as you follow orders. You weren't useful to him in your world because killing you would hurt Holmes and rob of his business partner. But now as an army doctor you are far more useful to him and the rest of the army. Plus I'm sure he'll enjoy seeing Holmes's reaction to you being stuck here as a slave." said Yuki.

He grinned and focused his attention back on Harry.

"I'm always glad to see you. You need to drag me out of my lab more often so we can spend time together." said Yuki, teasing him.

Jason sighed.

"I guess I was an open book. I'm just grateful I have Moriarty." said Jason.

He heard Watson say Moriarty was his enemy.

"I know how that feels. My old master was my enemy and he basically made me an obedient lapdog. But my new master made me his familiar. I have another cobra monster form that makes Jafar more powerful and in return I got to be human some of the time. And use it for battles or if he needs potion ingredients." said Jason.

He sighed thinking of Moriarty.

"But you are wrong about one thing. He can be kind when he wants to be. If he were as heartless as you say he wouldn't have fallen in love with me and we wouldn't be together now." said Jason.

Malachite nodded.

"Yes. Moriarty will treat you alright. There are many who are more servants in this army. I have one named Leonardo. They mostly are body guards or fetch errands for us." said Malachite.

Malachite was surprised hearing Jafar had chosen Jason as his familiar.

"You're Jafar's familiar now? Quite impressive. First capturing the Hulk and now this." said Malachite.

Fat Cat grinned.

"Things will look up for you doc. If you like we could capture him so you guys could be together again." said Fat Cat.

[Harry Percy/Hotspur]

(OCC: Here's Moriarty)

Moriarty went down to see how his slave, Watson, was doing. And to get a couple other things but as he went down, he quietly hid as he heard many talk about him. He proudly smiled as a majority of people either stood up or gave positive response about him. That said, he was antsy when Watson expressed doubt. He honestly only took the doctor as a slave for benefits and to simply spite Sherlock. He didn't bare a lot of will against Watson. Killing him and his wife was only logical at the time. But he had to gain Watson's trust more clearly. And he needed to keep his good will in the army purely to protect himself and Jason. After a small while, he came over and replied to Malachite "Indeed I will sir" He then turned to Watson and replied calmly "I understand your distrust in me, truly I do. But I assure you, I knew Holmes would be quick in saving you. I purposely intended the plot to fail" Technically he was lying, but he needed desperately to get Watson to trust him a little. He replied with a soft chuckle "Trust me doctor. You are more important alive than dead. The only ill will I have is against Holmes. It is purely to spite him. But rest assured, you will be comfortable here as long as you assist me, malachite and facilier with our goals"

He turned to Jason and smiled softly at him. He was very relieved Jason was protecting his dignity. He came over to Jason and held him close and turned to Watson and replied teasingly "Also, as cold as you may think I am, I can understand such things as love. You'll get used to the strange idea" He then turned to Trickster and nodded "You bring good points. I do have revenge for holmes but killing him would be quite terrible for many reasons"

Moarte was admittedly surprised by Moriarty's responses. Everyone's suspicions of his ability to be kind were very quickly being confirmed. Still, he knew Watson would take time to trust and as such, made no comments. He then turned to Malachite and replied about his comments about Jafar "Indeed. I suppose he wants to impress you and master facilier" He then gave a soft hum "I can't shake the feeling he is getting quite powerful" He then turned to Watson and shook his head "More or less a zombie like creature. I am neither alive or dead"

Harry Percy nodded at most of the confirmations and turned to see Moriarty also confirm their suspicions. He turned to listen to Jason and replied "Well, I suppose Jafar thankfully helped you out of that terrible misfortune" He sneered a little "No one should be treated like a lapdog" He had a lot of distaste for demanding slavery but he was glad many masters here were much kinder. He turned to Yuki and beamed at him, before smirking dirtily "Oh I can definitely lead you to more compelling activities"

Trickster turned to Moriarty and replied to the doctor "I certainly hope you are true to your word. The last thing we need is a harmed doctor. And if you don't mind me saying, perhaps if you truly care about Watson platonically. You may not want to kill Holmes. Wouldn't it be more painful to have him alive and see his friend here?" He then winked to Watson as if to say he had his back. He hoped Watson wouldn't get too angry. Seeing a lot of people stand up for Moriarty, Trickster felt the need to be a voice or helpful hand for Watson's concerns.

[Dr. John Watson]

Watson paused looking up seeing Moriarty.

"I don't trust you Moriarty but this isn't about a trust. We don't have to best friends nor would I want to. If it was up to me I'd never have to see you again but I no longer have a choice.' said Watson.

He sighed.

"You want me to be your guinea pig doctor I'll do that. I swore an oath to treat patients as a doctor but you will not force me to fight Holmes or anyone else. I'm a doctor not a fighter. That is where I draw the line. My profession is saving lives not taking them." said Watson.

Watson was shocked at the way the couple kissed and sighed. Moriarty had actually found someone to love him. He looked quite young perhaps in his 20's or teens. But in this war he supposed age wasn't a problem. And it rarely was to people in love. But he was surprised how many spoke for him or at least for him to be the army doctor and not fight in the war.

"Well I didn't expect this. I thought I'd get beaten or locked away for even speaking but people coming to my defense? I must be dreaming." said mumbled Watson.

He smiled at Trickster though gratefully.

Jason grinned seeing Moriarty wrapping an arm around him as he spoke.

"The doctor makes a good point. It's not use having a doctor that's in a coma, dead or so injured he can't treat others. We didn't really have much of a medical staff before he came along. Yuki's more of a mad scientist and there's a few medics but they only know basic things. If it wasn't for magic and basic first aid we'd probably be a lot worse off than we are now." said Jason.

He grinned pulling Moriarty into a kiss and smirked.

"Sorry. Couldn't resist." said Jason.

He turned to Harry and smiled.

"I was grateful to get out of that snake form. But it hasn't been so bad. And now I can switch back and forth if necessary and it makes Jafar more powerful too I think. Which could only help this army." said Jason.

Yuki nodded.

"Jason speaks the truth. My knowledge is more in technology and inventing than medical. I've done what I can with the help of Fat Cat and others but Dr. Watson here will be a great help to all of us." said Yuki.

He turned to Harry and grinned.

"I'm sure you can." said Yuki.

Fat Cat nodded.

"And I only became a medic because I'm a cat. I don't have magic or weapons training. I usually had henchmen do all the heavy lifting and none of them are here. So at this way I can be useful without getting myself hurt or killed." said Fat Cat.

Malachite chuckled.

"Well he's done that. Making Jason as his snake familiar was a stroke of genius and it keeps Jason's form as well. That is a powerful monster form that would serve this army well." said Malachite.

He watched Watson talk with Moriarty and Jason.

"I agree with the doctor and Jason. We need more experienced medical staff. Sending the few we have out to fight wouldn't be very practical. But he is your slave so I'll leave that up to you Moriarty." said Malachite.

He heard Watson mumble and walked over to the doctor patting him on the back.

"I admit we might have been hasty in enslaving you but you are shall we say normally a good guy. And vow or not you would have bolted the first chance you could get. Or someone rescuing you. But now those options are off the table. You'll soon come to love being here or at the least tolerate it." said Malachite.

[Professor James Moriarty]

Moriarty shrugged at Watson's brutal honesty. He wasn't going to take the man's anger personally. He couldn't afford to, He replied just as calmly as previously "Well I need you watson, like it or not. And this team needs doctors. So yes, you and I do not have to be friends but we can at least be corgial for the greater benefit don't you agree?" He then turned to Jason who, despite mostly supporting him made a point to ask not to send watson out. He kissed Jason back, feeling a bit more comfortable with public affection. He then turned to the majority of other people, including malachite also insist not to send watson out on the battlefield. Although it would be personally satisfying to see watson and holmes fight, he figured he could always confront holmes himself and force watson to come with him as personal protection. To prevent holmes from actually physically fighting him. Yeah he had better plans than just forcing watson to fight. He turned to Jason and replied to him "You are very wise, love. I agree with you"

He turned to the others, giving a side eye to watson "No you are all correct. We need medical attention and watson is without a doubt the best we can have. Although I am his master, I am aware of his uses so forcing him to fight in large battles is not only a risk to him but a risk to our army. I would not be so hasty as to force him to fight holmes in a battle. No I will think of a better way to spite holmes, because I am someone who is patient" He then turned to Watson again and looked him firmly, whispering in watson's ear harshly "You have freedoms within this army doctor and I am a reasonable man. But it would serve you well to treat me with at least some respect. Because I could always make you hurt your friend personally in a more private setting and believe me, you do not want that. Do we understand each other?"

Moarte turned and nodded to malachite. It was true. Jafar was making quite the name for himself. Moarte nodded "I fully appreciate your willingness to help the injured still doctor. Believe us your talents are most appreciated" He then turned to see moriarty whisper something to watson personally but he kept his mouth shut. Moriarty was still the doctor's master and he must of assumed watson was getting a bit too mouthy. But moarte hoped this would not lead to a fight.

Harry Percy nodded to jason who seemed satisfied with the arrangement "Hey, anything that makes you comfortable is fine by me, lad. Believe me I think you having the right to turn back and forth is not a bad arrangement" He then focused his attentions to yuki, seeing that everyone else was talking to watson. He smirked dirtily again as yuki responded to him and whispered "Believe me, I'd love to show you someplace else from here"

The Trickster was relieved moriarty seemed to have no intention of forcing watson to battle. But he was aware the doctor might have different, more sinister and emotionally painful things in store for the doctor. Although he could not do much, he did seem to have a immediate liking to the doctor. The doctor seemed much more likable than most of his allies and the trickster felt a need to at least help out. He felt he could possibly have a friendship with the doctor and definitely help him gain trust in the army by being kind. He frowned a bit as Moriarty whispered to him, giving a sympathetic look to the doctor. Although he didn't deny moriarty was a good man, that did not mean he was a nice man. The trickster turned to the doctor, reminding him silently that he was there as support. He turned to respond to jason as the doctor and moriarty had a small moment and replied "It does seem to benefit and support you. If you are content with it, I see no issues with it"

[Dr. John Watson]

Watson glared at him. This man had tried to kill him, his wife and his best friend but right now his life was literally in his hands. Others could try to speak for him but in the end it was Moriarty's choice. The threat of fighting Sherlock rattled him. As much as he'd like to see Sherlock again he didn't want to fight him. In the end he'd hurt Sherlock or worse Sherlock might hurt him.

"I will try to be civil to you." said Watson.

He paused at the other introductions and he nodded.

"Thank you." said Watson.

Jason grinned as Moriraty returned his kiss.

"I suppose I am. You were once enemies once. It is hard myself having to work with Zedd and Rita but I don't have to see them all the time. At least Jafar's my master and not Zedd anymore." said Jason.

He paused leaning closer.

"Your real opponent was Sherlock Holmes was it not? I don't know if he's here but you could consider apologizing to him for what happened to him and his wife. The wife he may never see again. I know if I was separated from you forever I would be sad so try not to let him get you down. Even if he gets annoying or angry later." whispered Jason,.

He turned to Watson as the others started welcoming him.

"Yes Dr. Watson, welcome officially." said Jason.

He smiled at Harry.

"I get to stay with the man I love and I don't have to be stuck with my enemy Zedd. It's a win/win for me." said Jason.

Yuki smiled.

"Well that's a start I suppose." said Yuki.

He nodded.

"The cat speaks the truth. Welcome officially to the army Dr. Watson." said Yuki.

He grinned at Harry.

"Well we can always make ourselves scarce later. I do want to make sure the doctor settles in alright. Things seemed to have calmed down for the most part. If Moriarty's life was anything like mine it wasn't complete until he found love. He now has Jason and I have you." whispered Yuki.

Fat cat smiled.

"It's good to have an actual doctor here though. Magic can only heal so much and if they're all knocked out or badly hurt they can't heal others anyway." said Fat cat.

Malachite nodded as Watson tried to be civil and was agreeing to help treat wounds.

"Then there shall be no problems. We have plenty of soldiers but healers we are in low supply. Your talents would be more suited to our medical wing that out in the battlefield." said Malachite.

[Professor James Moriarty]

Moriarty gave a curt nod to Watson, satisfied that watson was clear of his place. But then jason grabbed his attention once more. Jason's point that he was also enslaved gave moriarty a bit of perspective. While it was natural to want respect and pretty much force watson's hand, he needed to remember his place also. If his loved one was being cruelly treated by jafar moriarty would feel miserable for him. So he made a mental note of jason's words and made sure to try to be civil and pleasant with watson himself. Jason's other points that watson was not his enemy but holmes was also rung true. The doctor may have been associated with holmes but if anything watson was just filler to the plan. If it weren't for holmes, moriarty would most likely have succeeded far faster. Watson barely did anything against him like holmes did.

So jason was right. Watson would be better as a friend as opposed to a enemy. He allowed Watson to converse with the other members as he went to the side with jason and replied to him gently "You make astute observations, love. For now it is best I leave him to make himself comfortable here. In good time I shall have a proper talk with watson about all of this. He may not be the enemy but we need him and I need to have him as a part of my plan for holmes. Still, I can be kinder to him due to what you have said" He then turned to see watson be welcomed and realized that perhaps watson was truly nervous of hurting his friend. Maybe promising watson would not be involved with holmes being harmed could be a good sign of trust.

Moarte stood aside as Watson tried to make himself more comfortable. Meanwhile the trickster nodded at Fat Cat's statement "The feline is correct. Your advances in the medical field are definitely appreciated doctor. Please feel free to make yourself comfortable in this place. Any of us are happy to assist you should you ask. Myself included" The Trickster then gave a side eye to moriarty. He was not sure why but the trickster was fond of the doctor. Watson hopefully was aware the trickster was on his side should he really want help from the trickster. The man was a powerful magician and could always sneak watson some help against moriarty should he ask for it.

Harry Percy wasn't too concerned about the whole thing to be honest. Moriarty was someone he liked since yuki was personally fond of the professor. So the whole servant thing didn't bother him too much. He couldn't afford to be bothered by it. They needed watson and watson being here was more beneficial than anything. He then gave a curt nod with a smile to the doctor and replied "Well now doc, now ya don't have to worry about being the odd one out. You've got yourselves a welcoming group of people here" He wanted to make the doctor at least laugh a little to relax because the man still look really restrained. He then turned to yuki and nodded listening to his flattering words, and he pulled yuki closer to him and replied "Anybody can change. Especially if someone is lookin' out for them. I have ya and that's all it takes ta make me happy"
