Another Mystery To Solve (Open)

[Daphne Blake]

(April 21st. Morning.)

Daphne groaned as she got up. The last thing she'd remembered was going to bed. They'd recently solved the case of the Phantom Virus and deleted it. They'd also sent its creator Bill to jail. But now she was waking up in front of a house she'd never seen before.

"How did I get here?" asked Daphne.

She paused looking over surprised to see a redheaded woman in an exotic dress who looked as confused as she was. She walked over to her.

"Hello. You know how we got here?" asked Daphne.

Daphne frowns as Jessica says she doesn't know where they are but then recognizes a couple animals but they don't know her. Very mysterious.

"We'll figure out what's wrong with their memories later. We should figure out how we got here. And where here is." said Daphne.

She glanced at the two animals and then back at Jessica after Jessica introduced herself and she remembered the animals names

"I'm Daphne Blake." said Daphne.

Daphne nodded at Jessica' questions seeing the new doctor join them.

"So we've been brought to another Earth with other people and animals. But I didn't think that was possible." said Daphne.

Then again she'd met real zombies, cat creatures, ghosts, aliens, warlocks, computer viruses, and been beamed into cyberspace lately. So this wasn't so out of the realm of being normal.

Jessica dusted herself off not sure how she got here. Last thing she remembered was Judge Doom getting dipped and then they'd hard a fun party in Toon Town. But she didn't see signs of Roger or anything familiar. Not even the regular city or the Ink & Paint Club she performed at. She glanced over spotting Daphne but not recognizing her. She must be a newer toon.

"I'm not sure but whoever did it is going to pay. I have to get back to my husband and my friends." said Jessica.

She then blinked in surprise spotting a pair of animals coming towards them a raven and a skunk.

"Flower? Diablo?" asked Jessica.

She recognized them from Toon Town. They'd been stars in Bambi and Sleeping Beauty.

Jessica looked confused.

"But it's me Jessica Rabbit. From Toon Town. We met a few times." said Jessica.

She was confused to why they didn't remember her. She nodded as Daphne spoke.

"You're right. Nice to meet you Daphne despite the circumstances." said Jessica.

She froze as Dr. Tease joined them.

"Armies? War? Just what have we been dragged into?" asked Jessica.

Flower walked out with Diablo seeing the new arrivals. They'd been visiting from Roses house. They just used it as a second base now since using it as a hideout no longer mattered with the armies aware of it.

"Yes. I'm Flower. But I don't recognize you." said Flower.

Flower smiled as Daphne introduced herself.

"Hello." said Flower, waving shyly.

Diablo flew next to Flower spotting the new arrivals.

"I don't remember you either. But welcome." said Diablo.

Diablo waved a wing.

"Hello." thought Diablo.

Carly heard voices spying the group and grinned.

"This is going to take some time to explain but the short version is a war's going on here. And people from other universes wer brought her to fight. There's three armies. Two villain armies and this one. The good one. We hope to finish this war and send everyone home. I'm Dr. Carly Tease. Welcome to the army." said Carly.

[Velma Dinkley]

"Jinkies" Velma was also somewhat disoriented. One minute in bed, next minute here. Velma looked around and immediately looked around "Daphne? Freddy? Scooby? Shaggy?" Suddenly almost like magic, she saw a group of people, in them was daphne. Almost immediately she went to her friend and replied "Oh thank goodness. I'm so glad you're here. I swear, we can't have a dull moment"

She saw the others and smiled kindly to each of them. Sure some of them included talking animals but they were used to Scooby. It wasn't anything special. She smiled "I'm velma. Nice to meet you all" She then was grateful her new friend jessica and Daphne were asking the questions for once. As they all were talking, Velma grabbed her journal, writing down what Tease was telling them. She only closed the book to offer her hand "I'm velma, pleasure to meet a scientist again" She then gave a relieved grin when she saw Fred "Oh thank goodness. Glad to see you, freddy!"

Fred was confused to say the least. Well, this was certainly looking like yet another mystery. As he thought this, a interested grin came on his face. It disappeared though once he didn't see any of his friends. It got him immediately worried. New worlds without old friends seemed scary. But he'd never admit that. Fred immediately walked around, calling out "Daphne? Velma? Shaggy? Scooby?" He looked about for his friends. He eventually saw them and went straight to them "Hey girls!" He then saw Velma talk to him and replied "Good to see you both too. Was worried for a second. Shaggy and scooby here yet?"

Milo watched everyone closely as he approached the scene with caution. He at first didn't say anything, due to his thoughts madly racing. Where was he? Where was Kida? Where was anyone he knew? Was he in a new world? Was he not? If he was not in a new world where was he taken? He walked to the group, filled with humans and animals alike. He straightened himself up, trying to appear less nervous than he was. Truth was he was terrified but he should be used to new things by now. Alantis was a big new thing. This shouldn't be different. "Um, hello, pardon me.. Dr. Tease was it?" He gave a slight cough before offering his hand "Milo Thatch. I don't know how I got here, but I'm glad this new place has at least some nice people"

[Daphne Blake]

Daphne smiled seeing Velma.

"Velma! Thank goodness. I was worried I was here alone." said Daphne.

She smiled spotting Fred and grinned.

"Freddy! You're here too! This is great." said Daphne.

She paused freezing when she heard Carly's words.

"Shaggy's a what?" asked Daphne.

She looked shocked but paused remembering a story Shaggy had told of being turned into a werewolf.

"But I thought he was just making that up when he told that story before. He's a werewolf again?" said Daphne.

Jessica is quiet seeing the reunion and is glad Daphne has two of her friends but she's still puzzled that Diablo and Flower don't remember her. She guesses they must be from worlds based off the movies so they aren't actors like they are in her world.

Diablo and Flower are both quiet watching the reunions as they all waved tot he new arrivals.

Carly smileda t him.

"Hello Milo. I'm glad you could make it. There's a secret war going on with our army and two villain armies. But you came to the right place. Whether to join as a fighter, help in another way or use it as a sanctuary." said Carly.

She paused glancing at Daphne, Fred and Velma.

"We haven't seen any signs of Scooby but Shaggy's unfortunately is in Facilier's army. He's a werewolf last I heard." said Carly.

[Roger Rabbit]

Velma beamed at Daphne when she responded to her "Don't worry, I'm definitely not going anywhere for sure" She then turned in shock as Carly explained the whereabouts of Scooby and shaggy. Scooby was unknown to be here at all, and Shaggy was on a opposing side. As a werewolf. Velma was used to the different side of reality, such as supernatural and magical things but someone turning into a werewolf was seemingly impossible even then. Velma, like Daphne, thought it was a joke. But guilt passed through her quickly. She believed Ben, someone she just met, but yet she refused to believe Shaggy. One of her oldest friends. One who has always been for her. Velma resisted the urge to cry. Instead she appeared sad and responded determinedly "Well Dr. Tease, whatever we need to do to get Shaggy and scooby back we will. We'll help you since the other two sides are apparently villains" Velma turned to see Roger reunite with Jessica and Velma couldn't help but smile.

"Oh jinkies. Freddy, Daphne, do you think Shaggy will be okay?" Normally Velma was assuring, but since shaggy was in a much different scenario then one where she and her friends could control most of the situation, Velma was frankly scared for his safety. Velma sighed, ashamed of her feelings "I know scooby can be found easily, but shaggy's on another side. At least he can be found if alone, but if he's with the other army, this could really affect him"

"Hey, I'd never leave you in the dust, Daph. No sir" Fred beamed, delighted to see Daphne and Velma safe. Daphne especially. He then widened his eyes, shocked to hear Shaggy's whereabouts. Unlike Velma though, he was a little less reserved with his shock. When daphne commented on his transformation, he replied in agreement "Yeah, I mean, sure we've handled weird things but transforming is hard to believe. Can't believe we didn't listen to him" He then nodded, much more positive and enthusiastic than his brainac friend "Velma's right, Tease. You name it, we can help. I'm pretty good with automechanics, and am pretty good with traps I think" He then saw Roger and laughed a little at his goofiness.

Fred saw Velma nervous for Shaggy and he knew Velma was not one to have emotions. This meant Velma was taking Shaggy's situation immensely serious. Fred was not one to make fun of velma's emotions, in fact he understood them. He knew her for the longest time. Fred was the leader for a reason. He was good with comforting when no one else could. Fred beamed and gave Velma a friendly hug "Don't you worry about a thing, Velma. There's always a way Shaggy gets out of stuff. He'll be alright. So let's focus on finding him and scoob"

"Well if there's a war, you're gonna need all the help you can get" Like Velma and Fred, Milo too wanted to help. If only to find out why this war was going on and why he was here. He liked Tease. Reminded him of himself. Then again most scientists did. He gave a assuring smile and replied "I know everything about magic and science and everything in between. Alantis has a culture that works specifically with both. Maybe not as extensive as the aztecs did but Alantis was like the basics of both. So if you need help with scientific weaponry, I can use some alantian methods" Milo then widened his eyes in interest at Roger

Roger was a bit spooked to say the least. His wife had been missing for a while but Roger's love for her made it feel like forever. And he was so worried. He heard voices in the distance, keeping himself surprisingly quiet. He knew he was in a new world already, this wasn't toon town and it certainly wasn't L.A. He suddenly heard voices and he mumbled to himself "Voices? Maybe I'll find help!" He raced and was immensely joyful in what he found. He recognized that beautiful red hair and red dress anywhere! Roger spotted her immediately and replied "Jessica! My darling! My sweetheart!" He raced to her but bumped into a tree. After seeing stars, he shook his head and commenced running to his wife "Jessica! My precious cherry pie! My love!"

[Daphne Blake]

Daphne relaxed glad to have Fred and Velma there.

"I'm glad you're here. I never had to solve a problem like this by myself. I had you two or Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy with me after I briefly worked as a reporter while solving mysteries with them. I hope Scrappy's not here. It was bad enough he was never scared of the creeps in masks we always ran into but here he could get into real trouble." said Daphne.

Daphne nodded as Tease spoke.

"Tease is right. We don't know if Scooby's here. But I'm sure we'll get Shaggy back." said Daphne.

She heard Velma's words and nodded.

"Of course he is. He's faced off a lot over the years. All those creeps in masks and even real monsters. Cat Creatures, Zombies, ghosts, witches and warlocks. You name it." said Daphne.

She froze as Carly mentioned the Phantom Virus was here.

"But we barely stopped him last time. And now we don't have Eric's device to trap him in the computer world. Velma do you think you could make some of the electro magnets? There were the only thing that could weaken him last time." said Daphne.

She was now really getting worried.

"Jeepers. That computer game had several of our old foes as digital monsters. What if some of them show up? Or the cat creatures from Moonscar Island? Or the Ravencrofts?" said Daphne.

She winced remembering the last one was probably a touchy subject for Velma.

"Sorry Velma." said Daphne.

Carly nodded.

"I'm sure you'll get Shaggy back. Scooby hasn't shown up yet so he may not even be here. Focus on Shaggy first. If Scooby Doo does show up then you can worry about him." said Carly.

Carly paused as Daphne mentioned villains.

"Oh speaking of villains the Phantom Virus is back and working in Ask That Guy's army." said Carly.

She turned to Milo and nodded.

"I'm glad you're here too Milo. Did you bring any Atlantean technology with you? That could be useful in this war." said Carly.

Jessica grinned as Roger joined him and she gave him a kiss.

"Oh Roger I'm so glad you're safe. I wish you'd stayed in Toon Town where you'd be safe but I'm glad you're here." said Jessica.

She grinned.

"Let's go see if we can rustle up something to eat." said Jessica.

Diablo and Flower were silent watching the friends and couple reunite.

[Roger Rabbit]

"Yeah, Scrappy being brave is great, having him be impulsive is not so great. He'd have a field day" Velma chuckled at the mention of Scooby's young puppy nephew. Velma smiled as Daphne admitted she was glad to have her and Fred here. Then the discussion of the situation continued. Velma's anxiety was calmed thanks to Fred, Tease and Daphne pointing out that they weren't even sure the great dane was even here. And that they would focus their energy on getting Shaggy back "You're right, thank you" She smiled as Daphne confirmed her worries by pointing out the past. She nodded before gasping a little at the confirmation Virus was here. She nodded at Daphne's question "I can and I will. Electro magnets can be pretty easy to make. I can get something like that in no time"

Suddenly Daphne's comment about their past enemies lead to a sore in Velma's side that wasn't easy to ignore. It was still a touchy subject to remember Ben. It was a betrayal that was immensely hard to swallow still. Velma took a deep breath and smiled for Daphne's sake, knowing she didn't mean it the way she did "It's fine, Daph. I'm over it" That was a complete lie but she didn't want to address this problem "If.. Ben is here, we'll find a way to defeat him, just like virus or any one of the past enemies we faced" When Fred asked her if she was okay, Velma got impatient and replied "Of course I'm alright. Ben isn't my problem. Shaggy's safety is. Let's just focus on getting him okay?"

Fred put his hand on Daphne's shoulder, reassuringly as she commented about her approval of them being here. He then nodded at the assurance that getting shaggy here would be a priority and that scooby wasn't here so far. Fred smiled "Well then, let's just get started with shaggy first. Get him back here as soon as we can" He then frowned as Tease confirmed Virus was here. He gave a shudder as Daphne reminded him of their run ins with virus and the past enemies they had. He then saw Velma noticeably get sour as Ben was mentioned. Like Daphne, Fred knew Ben's betrayal took a toll on Velma. He replied concernedly "Velma, you sure you're alright?" When snipped at, Fred backed off and nodded "Okay Velma, no worries. I just wanted to check. I'm your friend after all"

He then turned to see the reunions between everyone and gave a smile that meant changing the subject and replied "Well I don't know about you guys, but I heard something about food and I gotta admit, I'm feeling a bit hungry myself"

"As a matter of fact, I do have this" He pulled out his crystal necklace which glowed bluer than ever. He pulled it off and handed it right to Tease "You can borrow this for study. It's got enough energy to last the whole city. I think it can help with weaponry especially. But when you can bring it back to me please" He shrugged with a soft sigh "It's all I have of home right now. I'm a little attached to it still" He then pondered in his pocket to check if he had anything else but only pulled out a small rock that his fiance, Kida, gave to him for good luck. He sighed softly again "Forgive me, Dr. Tease, but is there any chance you heard about Kida's whereabouts?"

Roger, meanwhile, was focused on his wife. He hugged her tightly and kissed her back with the biggest grin on his face. He replied softly "Well as long as I'm with you, I always feel right at home" He then gave a protective smile and stance "Don't worry honey bun, me being here will definitely make you more safe in this place. I'll teach any goon a lesson if they mess with you, my angelcake!" He looked around before the prospect of food was offered to him. He held her hand and replied "Well I suppose getting some food should be a priority for now"

[Daphne Blake]

Daphne nodded.

"Especially when the danger's more real. Most of the time he was with us we just were up against people in costumes. Well except for the 13 Ghosts." said Daphne.

She shuddered just thinking about them. Then turned to Shaggy and looked sad.

"I can't believe I didn't believe him. We've gone up against ghosts, zombies, and cat creatures. Even a compter virus. Why couldn't werewolves be real too?" said Daphne.

She smiled at Velma.

"Your welcome." said Daphne.

She nodded.

"Good. And we should find a better way to use them. They were knocked out of our hands too easily last time. If Shaggy hadn't kept his when were pulled into the video game..."

She trailed off not wanting to think about that and shuddered.

"Maybe you could make them into a weapon or make them smaller?" said Daphne.

Daphne dropped the subject knowing Velma didn't want to talk about it especially after seeing her snap at Fred.

"I know we'll stop any of our other enemies from our past." said Daphne.

She turned to Fred and smiled as he put a hand on her shoulder.

"But what if they're forcing him to fight for them somehow? How could we help him?" asked Daphne.

Daphne chuckled at the mention of food.

"Well I suppose one thing about Shaggy or Scooby not being here. There will actually be food for us to eat." joked Daphne.

She laughed and then blushed as her stomach grumbled.

"I guess I was more hungrier than I thought." said Daphne.

Jessica grinned at Roger enjoying having her husband here.

"And so do I. I'm so glad you're here." said Jessica.

Jessica grinned.

"I can take care of myself but I'm so glad you're here to look after me." said Jessica.

She nodded.

"Then let's go get some food."said Jessica.

Jessica glanced at the pair of animals and nodded.

"Then lead the way." said Jessica.

She followed the pair of animals inside.

Diablo and Flower followed the married couple.

"Let us show you where things are." said Flower.

"Yeah. This place is bigger on the inside so you could get lost." thought Diablo.

They both nodded as Diablo flew in and Flower ran in leading the couple inside and towards the kitchen.

Dr. Tease glanced at the crystal Milo had.

"Incredible. An Atlantean Crystal. That would help us. It's been so long since I've seen the films based on your life. Does it have magical properties like healing?" asked Tease, curious.

She nodded.

"Well I think you should keep it. I wouldn't feel right taking something important from you. We have more than enough energy sources and weapons and things." said Dr. Tease.

She shook her head.

"You're the first we know of to come from your world. But if there is anyone else they could be in other armies." said Dr. Tease.
