Nice Sentiment

[Rodney Antwiler]

(OCC: Rodney/Seven of Eleven. March 17th, later afternoon)

Rodney got permission and he felt bad he didn't think about someplace fancier but he wanted someplace to go with just seven. Ever since they got here, they never actually had a real date. Rodney felt like a terrible boyfriend, let alone a emotional one. He felt very odd, he only remembered love for the people he held close to but now he had all these other complex emotions. Like guilt, jealousy, wrath, frustration, nervousness and loyalty to not just his close ones but to other friends that he may/may not consider close. It made a big bundled mess. Enough to feel stupid for not asking seven of eleven out.

"Ok rodney. It's simple. Just ask her out. She'll love to come. She's incredibly sweet" Rodney convinced himself. Of course Seven of eleven would go out with him, she loved him enough to. But he was so dumb, how could she want to go? Why was this so complicated. He went over and knocked on the door to seven of eleven's quarters(Room) and said shyly "Seven. Is it alright if I speak with you?"

Seven had come to her break after practically being shooed out of the lab. Insuedo had something about her spending too much time in there. Which was amusing coming from him. She had a feeling he wanted to spend some time alone with Insano so she had agreed. Mechakara, Dark Heart, Seven of Nine, and the rest of her friends were busy today. So she was alone and bored sitting in her room. She paused as she heard a knock at the door an then heard Rodney's voice as her face lit up as she grinned. She walked to the door and opened it.

"Of course. Come on in. You're always welcome in my room. It's been awhile since we got to hang out. My father, my sister, Phantom Virus, Seven of Nine, and the others are all busy today. So I'm glad you're here. So what did you want to talk me to about??" said Seven.

Rodney was incredibly pleased to see Seven's reaction. He was glad that his presence always pleased her. His main goal of this war was to always keep seven well-cared for, and well-loved, and even well-protected by rodney himself. Seeing her alone made him feel curious, she always wanted to do something so this was a great chance to ask her out. Rodney gulped though, unsure of how to say this. Being a robot sometimes was incredibly difficult.

"I agree. It has been a very long time since we have been alone. Which is why I had a proposition for you, dear seven of eleven" Rodney said, unsure with his words, shy as he was. He held her hands and gently kissed them, hoping she enjoyed it because it was intended as romantic. He sighed and said "You do not have to do anything but... would you like to go on this, um how do the humans say it, date? I thought we should spend some time together and do whatever we want together. Seeing you alone made me think this is a good time to have one"

Seven smiled at Rodney as he spoke.

"A proposition? Now I'm intrigued." said Seven.

She paused as he kissed her hand and she blushed while grinning.

"A date? Hmm. I do not need to eat being a cyborg. And all those tedious human activities don't really interest me. Unless you have something in mind." said Seven.

She paused feeling bad for neglecting Rodney for awhile.

"Insano banned me from the lab saying I was working too much in there. I guess I have. It's just they hurt my father and my sister. I wanted to make Malachite and Facilier pay for what hurting my family and brainwashing all of us. I guess I've been so focused on revenge I was forgetting about spending time with you. And for that I apologize. So if you want to go on this date I'll go. I'm just not sure what we could do." said Seven.

He was pleased that Seven was intrigued and interested with his offer. And his physical attempts to woo her seemed to be working like normal. Rodney was glad for that at least. He then frowned slightly as Seven was somewhat objective of eating. He then pondered about that. He then beamed with delight "We do not have to consume anything. My master says that dates is more than eating and physical activity. It is simply the joys of being with your loved one. We can do whatever we want!"

"Do not blame yourself for anything. It is no trouble. Revenge is important to you and I support you every step to it" Rodney replied, his tone nonchalant as Seven apologized for working too hard to achieve a goal. He then pondered "I do want to go. But we should do something we both like. I like fighting and talking. But what do you like to do?"

Seven nodded listening to him.

"I see. You seem to have done the proper research for this date. Alright then. I'm glad we don't have to do food. But what else do you sugest?" said Seven.

She smiled at him.

"I'm glad to hear that. But I don't want to be too consumed with revenge. I've seen what it's done to my father and sister especially lately. All they want to do is get revenge on Facilier's Army. I worry about them." said Seven.

Seven paused trying to think.

"Perhaps a museum could be fun. Seeing some historical objects could be fascinating. Especially if it's a science museum. It could be amusing to look back on how primitive some of their ideas were. Of course even now their ideas seem primitive compared to us." said Seven.

"We can leave the area and take a nice walk. Explore if you will" Rodney suggested. He never really had a date before. So having this situation brought to him was new. It was different. But it wasn't bad. He just wasn't used to this sort of thing.

"I understand. Perhaps it is anger. Anger tends to drive into activity and action. I've seen it done to my master. I too worry about him, for he is a good master" Rodney admitted. Insano, as he could remember, was the only one who provided and cared for him. Sure he wasn't always nice but Insano cared in his own way.

"I'm very curious about this science museum. I've never been to a museum. I think that is a good place to go!" Rodney said, a curious grin on his face.

Seven nodded.

"A walk would be pleasant." said Seven.

She sighed.

"I know. Emotions cloud your judgement. They're not logical either. Sometimes I wish I wasn't programmed with so many but then I wouldn't have you so I'll adjust to the sadness, anger, guilt, and everything else. As long as I have, my family and friends I can handle anything." said Seven.

She nodded.

"What they did to Insuedo, my father, and my sister was awful. Making them slaves. Insuedo was in chains. They had no right to do that to him. I can undestand why everyone's mad. I'm mad too. But we can't become obsessed with it." said Seven.

She grinned.

"I think it would as well. Sounds like fun." said Seven.

She paused looking at his appearance and hers.

"We would need magic or technology to disguise ourselves. My cybernetic parts are very visible. At least on my face. And you're a robot. If we walk out we're likely to cause a panic. Or at least draw attention to ourselves." said Seven.

Rodney was glad Seven was digging his ideas. He then nodded empathetically as Seven regretted having negative emotions but accepted the good. "You are right. It is very illogical but I'd rather be illogical and emotional if it meant knowing and spending time with you. And I do care about your family too, because they are a part of you. I will work hard to help with you or them whenever you need me to"

Rodney nodded to go but then nodded, a little embarrassed he didn't think about this sooner, as she pointed out a need to disguise. Rodney took her hand and replied "Insano has just the thing for that! A special device to disguise us nicely! Follow me!" He took her to the lab and showed two small devices that looked like cute silver bracelets.

Seven grinned at him.

"And I enjoy spending time with you. And I'm glad you willing to help my family." said Seven.

Seven nodded following him to the lab and smiled at the devices.

"Do you know how this work? Do they have to fail safes? I do not want to go out there and have it fail and reveal what we are. That could cause panic. And that's supposed to come much later. Once we win this war and start our conquest." said Seven.

"It is the least I can do. You and your family handled much" Rodney honestly replied. He then focused on finding the devices. Eventually he did and nodded as Seven rightfully asked him questions. He responded calmly "They definitely work. Master Insano worked on them many times. And they completely reboot anytime they fail to actually work"

He then gave seven one and put it on her wrist. Then he put one on his and replied "Simply press the blue button and you'll instantly appear more human. Press the red button to turn it off, which we will when we get back" He smiled softly "It should work quite easily"

Seven smiled.

"I suppose we have. And I'll always be grateful to you." said Seven.

Seven nodded.

"Good. I'm glad to know these won 't fail on us." said Seven.

She paused pressing the blue button as her cybernetic parts seemed to disappear and she looked completely human.

"Did it work?" asked Seven.

Rodney smiled as Seven said he was grateful for him and was faithful in his master's abilities. He turned to watch the device actually work on her and she looked a hundred percent human. He beamed with a hint of delight "It did! It's incredible" He showed her a small mirror of her human form which was clothed properly and looked nice. He then turned to his device and turned it on. Disguising him as a blond haired, blue eyed man with a stubble and a pair of jeans with a green long-sleeved. He commented curiously "Do I look okay?"

Seven grinned.

"Excellent. I'm glad this device is performing perfectly." said Seven.

She looked at the mirror and was impressed with how her cybernetic parts were invisible even to her. If she didn't know they were there she'd h ave thought she was completely human. She then saw him shapeshift into a human and she grinned at his appearance.

"You are quite handsome in this form. Almost as handsome as how you normally look." said Seven.

If he chose to get a cyborg body like Phantom Virus or just kept using this disguise she'd be okay with it. She fell in love with Rodney not just his body.

"I suppose we should go before something happens like an attack or other interruptions." said Seven.

(OCC: LOL great now I want to have Rodney have a human cyborg body in the future. I mean why not, since he's gonna be here for a long time, he might as well)

Rodney was pleased his idea was so successful. He was also pleased at how his disguise looked. He looked in the mirror a tad and thought of asking insano for this type of design of body. But that was for another time. He turned to Seven of eleven who suggested they leave. He nodded "Yes, let us go before anything changes. Let us head to that museum" Rodney grinned taking her hand and leaving the house. He eventually walked out with her to start their date. He was already pretty excited.
