((March 12th. Intro thread for Terra, open to Ask That Guy's army.)) The blonde was unsure of where she ended up. The city was an unfamiliar place to her. Terra wasn't sure about where she was, how she got there, or where she was going, but she knew she wasn't where she was supposed to be. Dark shoes click-clacked along the sidewalk while Terra was trying to figure out where she was going to stay for the night. Blue eyes stared down at the ground in hopes that some yellow brick road may pop up to tell her way to go. Her hands hung at her sides, fidgeting ever so slightly thanks to her predicament.
She just needed to find a place to crash for the night, and then she could figure out how to get back to school. Apparently, that was a whole lot easier than it sounded.
"Hey, relax, everything's cool," the blonde reassured herself. She found herself stopping, wondering where she should go from where she stood. Where was she supposed to go? She had left the nomadic lifestyle behind, and she didn't plan on returning to it anytime soon. The sooner she got back 'home,' the better.
He wasn't really planning to guard anything, yet Thrax, at the moment, was the only person on the front porch of the house he lived in with many, many others. He wasn't intending anything malicious but if anyone did come by uninvited and disrespectful he probably would instantly become malicious. The virus' attention was at first laid-back but he heard some crunches of leaves and whatnot on the ground, and due to his sensitive hearing, he took it seriously. He hummed a confused noise as he began to see a figure. Not a figure of a huge creature though and as it got closer it seemed to look as if it was a young woman. A calm, almost pleasant smile reached on Thrax's features and he walked over a tad to get closer before responding patiently
"Heya kiddo, you seem lost. Can I help you with anything?"
The petite blonde stopped when she found herself face to face with the virus. Terra wasn't sure what he was. Was he a mutant? An alien? Honestly, she couldn't put the pieces together and ended up staring at him, mouth agape and jaw dropped. Honestly, she shouldn't have been surprised to see someone who looked like Thrax did. After all, she was fine talking to a boy who had green skin, why was he any different?
Probably because his appearance was more frightening and eerie.
The blonde shut her mouth and spoke up at last. "I think I can handle myself if you can tell me where I am," she replied hesitantly, debating on whether she could trust the stranger in front of her or not.
Thrax couldn't help but smile at the fear obvious within the blond teen's face. He liked to be intimidating, especially with children mostly because of his strong power as a virus to make them sick. Well, now that he was human-sized, his abilities to sicken or harm people was most likely stronger, so this kid had a right to be shocked with him. He kept the pleasant behavior though as the young blonde hesitantly asked him a question.
"Chicago, kiddo. Also, you're on Ask Thatguy's property. You see the house right there?" He pointed to the admittedly cute house but on the inside it was much bigger and had a lot of people the girl might not be happy with but Thrax didn't need to tell her that quite yet. "That's where Ask Thatguy lives. He's my boss. And also my leader of this army I'm in..." He paused before chuckling "You probably don't know what I'm talking about right? You just popped into this place like myself I'm guessing. Most new guys do"
Much to her surprise, Terra was given a genuine answer. She was stuck in some city called Chicago. She knew where she was now, so all she had to do was figure out how to get back home. That was it. It had to be that easy, right? Her brief moment of relief was cut short when the virus mentioned that she was on someone's property. Just when she was about to take off and head back to the place she called home. A grimace crawled along her lips, the corners of her mouth pointed downwards while her sapphire stare shifted towards the house Thrax pointed at. She gave a nod to acknowledge what he was saying. The virus explained that he worked for this so-called 'Ask ThatGuy,' and that automatically wasn't a good sign to her. One eyebrow scrunched downwards, the other lifted upwards.
"Army?" the teen repeated, as if to confirm if she heard him right. "You mean more like, a team, right?" An army inside of one house, with weapons and all, didn't seem plausible to the girl, but that wasn't what really caught her attention. "Wait, most new guys? You mean other people just show up out of the blue too?" Her suspicious look turned into one of genuine surprise.
Maybe it wouldn't be so easy to get back home after all.
"Yeah. Army. As in a group that is in a war. You think I'm bustin' your chops but I ain't. I don't joke about serious things like that" Thrax said, noticeably casual and content with answering the teen calmly. He honestly was in a good mood for some reason, maybe that was why he was so calm. He normally didn't like children. But she seemed like a good kid and who was he to just be annoyed with her?
At Terra's question of "new guys" he chuckled as she spoke. He was still amused with this. He didn't know why but he was. He walked closer but not enough to cause her to panic, but enough to know that he was still a domineering figure in this little discussion. He nodded "Yep. It's insane and a long story but if I don't tell you someone else is going to" He looked about and responded "Ever heard of dimension traveling? Well this doctor named Insano created this machine and it brings people from all kinds of crazy places to this place right here where you're standing. If you think I'm lying, feel free to go into this house and ask" He pointed to the house he previously pointed to "But they're gonna tell you the same thing"
