[Diablo]

(ooc: March 11th. Afternoon.)

Angela grinned as she put away the dishes. Lunch was over and people had gone back to doing their separate things. She smiled as she sat on the couch taking a break. It was odd as living in the castle there was always something to do. But here she had more free time. She found herself cleaning a lot. At first, people found it irritating but eased up realizing it was just her way of coping.

She missed Chip and everyone else from home. She thought about Chip every day. She hoped Cogsworth and the others were taking good care of him and the master. She hadn't seen Belle in a while but she knew the girl was here somewhere. For now, she decided to distract herself from the memories knowing if she thought too much about them she'd probably be in tears soon. And she didn't want to cry anymore. She sighed turning on the tv. She was a quick study and began flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch.

Rupert walked in seeing Angela and smiled. She reminded him of his own grandmother. He knew she missed her son. There was very little he didn't know about the heroes here being a former magic mirror after all. He still had those powers so it wasn't like that knowledge went away. But if she wanted to talk about it she would. He didn't want to push. Instead, he'd try to be a good friend. He grinned as he walked to the couch and sat down.

"Good afternoon Mrs. Potts." said Rupert.

Goggles walked out seeing the group and smiled. Fighting Cruella the other day had been tiring but thankfully she hadn't gotten serious injuries from that fight. She was glad for the break. She grinned taking a seat and smiled.

"Hi guys. Find anything good to watch?" asked Goggles.

Diablo flew in watching the three humans. He didn't spot Maleficent or any of his other friends. So he perched on the sofa deciding to watch tv with them since he had nothing else to do.

[Master Splinter]

"Good afternoon to you all. Do you mind if I bring myself in?" Splinter said humbly as he saw Goggles, Rupert and Mrs. Potts here. He was planning to meditate today after lunch with his sons but they wanted to hang out around the house which was completely fine with him. The three suffered a lot and the thing they needed was a nice break. In a way, so did Splinter. His eldest was still in trouble but he couldn't really find himself to think on it alone, he felt more social around these people, because they didn't see him as a freak they saw him as a friend. He sat near Mrs. Potts and smiled "I do hope "When My Life Begins" is on... Quite a lovely program"

(OCC: A made-up soap opera that I'm not sure that even exists. Splinter being a fan of soap operas is hilarious)

"Hey all. What's going on?" Steve rogers said with a grin. He turned in slight confusion to the TV before remembering what it was before sitting down next to Goggles. He turned to her and responded "I heard there was some good movies on the TV, like... Um, the wizard of oz. That stuff is classic" He shrugged again, crossing his legs and trying to get himself comfortable with the situation.

The familiar jingle of dog tags accompanied Tara's footsteps as she walked in. The Bostonian glanced over towards the TV, looking over the small group over by the couch. She stopped walking, wondering if she should bother to watch whatever was on or not. After all, she was sure she had to do something. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to take a break, though.

"Honestly, I don't care what's on TV, I just want to sit down and chill for a sec," Sullivan piped up, now searching for the perfect place to sit.

Once lunch had ended, Maleficent, like several others, found herself in the living room. Spotting Diablo perching himself on the sofa, she walked over to join him. Once she had gotten herself settled, she ran her fingers through his feathers, gold eyes casually observing her allies. They all seemed to be fixated on the television at the front of the room.

Maleficent hadn’t given the square-shaped device any thought since her first day at the Critic’s house. There had been no time to – her mind had had other, decidedly more important matters in those months. Now, however, seemed to be a time for relaxation, and it wasn’t as though she didn’t need it.

Suggestions were being thrown out for what to watch. As Maleficent had none to give, she listened patiently, and two stood out: When My Life Begins and The Wizard of Oz. Intrigued by the last one, the dark fairy turned to look at the person who had spoken of it, Steve Rogers.

“The Wizard of Oz? What’s that about?”

[Mrs. Angela Potts]

Angela smiled seeing a group had begun to form.

"Good afternoon everyone. I made plenty of food and snacks. I can make more if you like." said Angela.

Angela smiled at the offer taking a seat.

"Alright. I'll join you." said Angela.

She looked up at Splinter and smiled.

"Hello Splinter. Welcome. I haven't heard of that program." said Angela.

Rupert paused shaking his head.

"You should rest for awhile. You're always waiting on us. One of us can cook if we need anything else." said Rupert.

Rupert smiled seeing Steve.

"There are a lot of good choices. I agree." said Rupert.

He paused as Tara arrived and grinned.

"A day to relax sounds like fun." said Rupert.

Goggles nodded.

"He's right. You should take the rest of the day off. You work too hard. At your palace you had a whole staff to help you. Why don't you come join us and watch a movie?" said Goggles.

She paused hearing Maleficent's question.

"The Wizard of Oz is a film about a girl who gets sent to a fairy tale country by a tornado. She spends the rest of the film meeting with witches, wizards, and other creatures. She does end up killing two evil witches in it. You know the Wicked Witch of The West does look a lot like you. Although her green skins' more darker than yours." said Goggles.

Diablo looked up seeing Maleficent join them as he flew over to her landing on the chair next to her. They hadn't spent time together lately. Maleficent was off training a lot. Or chatting with her friends like Grimhilde and Jasmine. Plus he thought she might be mad at him for some reason but he wasn't sure what he'd done wrong.

"Hello mistress. It's good to see you again." thought Diablo.

[Steve Rogers/Captain America]

"It is alright. I appreciate it, but I feel you should take a break. Mrs. Potts, thank you" Steve responded calmly and with appreciation clear in his tone. He turned to Maleficent and heard her question but heard Goggles pretty much explain it for him. He nodded and responded, deliberately ignoring the wicked witch of the west comment because he didn't know whether to agree or to not because Maleficent might get offended. "Yeah. The wizard of oz is pretty much how Goggles here described it. The girl dorothy wants adventure, she gets it and then decides to go back home and she meets three likeable characters during her travels. A lion, a scarecrow and a tin man. It's really fun to watch I think" Steve smiled, doing his best to be nice to maleficent. Although he was not aware of her past, he had a feeling she was unlike the rest and that caused steve to want to be respectful

"Ah yes. Hello, Mrs. Potts. Always a pleasure to see you" Splinter said cheerfully as Mrs. Potts spoke to him. The two were very good friends by this point and he always seemed to enjoy her company. He then responded "Well the program is a show where two brothers go to live in the country away from their rambunctious lives from the city. The two fall in love with very different women and also meet a lot of friends. The result is the show developing the two brothers and how they handle these misadventures with their friends or develop their relationships with their love interests. It is a very sweet program"

He turned to the suggestion seeming to go for a different movie, The Wizard of Oz "Ah! I know this program also. It is quite charming. My son Michaelangelo watched it all the time when he was very little"

Maleficent didn’t acknowledge Diablo’s greeting. She was too busy listening to Goggles’ explanation of The Wizard of Oz. Her eyes narrowed when Goggles mentioned that the main character, a young girl, was able to kill two wicked witches. Adding insult to injury, one of them apparently bore a strong resemblance to her. It was at times like these that Maleficent wondered if her allies heard what came out of their mouths.

“Oh.”

The dark fairy made no further comment. Maleficent had no desire to watch a film where witches were killed. She had been called a witch herself on numerous occasions, a common and somewhat understandable mistake. Her rapidly souring mood wasn’t helped by Steve’s comment that the movie was fun to watch. She turned her icy gaze to him.

“You think watching witches die is fun?”

While Splinter didn't really say much, Steve had a sore feeling that despite his intent to be respectful, it seemed the description of the movie was not one to Maleficent's liking. Especially since she obviously was aware of what Goggles said and didn't like it. He felt the icy stare and his soft smile turned into a calm frown. He meant no disrespect but it seemed the mistress thought otherwise. "No. Not at all" He replied honestly "I didn't care for it. I was more into the cowardly lion and tin man and scarecrow, I found those guys to be fun. I like the three characters but even though the wicked witch of the west was the main antagionist, her death kinda soured the mood for me. Maybe I'm a softie" He shrugged. Steve was a military super-soilder and while he dealt with being that way, he wasn't particularly the "tough-guy" sterotype. He was only tough when he needed to be. Not now, when people were trying to recuperate.

"We don't have to watch it if you don't like it. I'm sure there's plenty of films around that we can all agree on" Steve responded. He didn't want to make himself a main problem for Maleficent and vise-versa. And the fact that goggles' unintentionally offensive comment as well as his own comments were seeming to sour the mistress' mood made Steve want to avoid any potential problem as soon as possible.
