Putting A Team Together

[Detective Mike Stone]

(ooc: March 10th. Decided to start the idea. It's going to get delayed cause of the transforming subplot but we can at least start it now since we don't know when we'll get to april. And this meeting isn't set in stone. if someone wants to add people or another rper wants to jump in that's ok too.)

Mike was nervous. It was just two days since he's talked with Sherlock about this and they'd started assembling a team. He just hoped they'd chosen the right people. All it would take was one person going to Critic, Spoony, and Chick for the plan to fail. Mike and Sherlock had delivered secret letters to the ones they wanted to join asking them to come meet here. Once the group was together then they would discuss the plan.

Brock walked in curious what the meeting was about guessing it was a mission as he'd been asked in a letter to come to this meeting and to not talk about it with anyone except those at this meeting. He saw Mike was there and he looked at him with a grin. He pulled out an envelope from his pocket.

"So did you get an invitation too?" asked Brock.

Dean walked in next. He'd only arrived this morning at the safe house. After meeting Flower, Bambi, and the otherse there he and Sam had come over to Critic's house wanting to help out some how in this war. If they'd come here there was the small chance a demon or ghost could have shown up here. Even if there wasn't he wanted to help out. Winning this war was probably their best chance of getting home. If there was a chance of getting home. He heard Brock's question about an invitation.

"So this is the right place then?" asked Dean.

He pulled out his envelope.

"What's with all the secrecy? This isn't an initiation or prank is it? Cause I'm not doing any of that. Well unless I'm pulling a prank on someone." said Dean.

Diamanda walked in next.

"A demon hunter, a detective, a Pokemon breeder, and a dictator. What an odd choice for a group. Well whatever this is it better be good." said Diamanda.

She pulled out her own envelope seeing Dean and Brock were showing it.

Thor walked out seeing the group. He smiled recognizing some of the faces. He took a seat seeing people holding envelopes. He pulled his out.

"Interesting. So we all got these envelopes with letters telling us to come here. Well I'm tired of waiting. What's the big secret?" asked Thor.

Grimhilde walked in next seeing the group and envelops. She pulled it out of her cloak and smiled at the group.

"I see I'm not the first to arrive. Is it just the six of us? Or are others coming as well?" asked Grimhilde.

She saw Thor, Brock, Mike, Diamanda, and a new man she hadn't met yet.

"The man must be a new recruit." thought Grimhilde.

Sam had only been around a couple days, if even that long, and now he was a part of this war. Much to his surprise, he received an envelope. There wasn't too much information on it, just keep it between whoever was at this meeting. Maybe it was an initiation, or maybe it was some sort of introductory gathering? The younger Winchester honestly had no clue why he was here, nor why his brother was invited too. They just arrived, didn't they? Sam shrugged it off and just went with what was going on. He looked over his envelope, eyes glancing up and down trying to decipher what was going on. It had to be some sort of initiation trial.

"Looks like it's the right place," Sam chimed in after his brother, hazel eyes glancing down from the paper to Dean. "Everyone else seems to have these envelopes, so I'd assume it's the right place." His irises rolled when Dean mentioned pulling pranks on someone, but decided against commenting on it. "I don't think there's that many new recruits, so I'm guessing it's not some sort of initiation."

An envelope talking about a meeting that needed to be kept quiet? Tara wasn't sure what was going on, but it sounded like it was exciting. That was enough reason for Sullivan to join in this little fiasco. Turquoise eyes danced throughout the group. There were familiar faces, and then there were not-so-familiar faces. A brow quirked upwards, then her gaze lowered back to the envelope in her hand. It wasn't long before she looked back to the group. "Alright, so now that it looks like we've got Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch all together, anyone care to talk about what's going on?" she asked, crossing her arms against her chest as she took another glance around, waiting for someone to give her an answer.

Sherlock meanwhile was with mike stone when the meeting was nearly ready. Some more people had to show up but he and mike a couple of days previous to now have discussed about this secret alliance he and mike agreed to talk about with the little group they were going to depend on. He heard many of the soilders that they have hand-picked with their envelopes out, Sherlock had the nervousness in the back of his mind but the fact that any of these people had the ability to spill the beans was hurtful to him. He then sighed as the demand for a explaination became far too great, when everyone they needed was sitting down, Sherlock spoke "The reason for all the secrecy of the envelopes Mike and I have given to you is this... We are proposing a very risky and dangerous idea" He turned to mike with a look of some sort of nervousness before continuing "We asked you here because we want you to be a part of this secret and dangerous idea. The reason for all the secrecy is because we fear the leaders will not agree to it and we didn't really want to just tell you outright for fear of, well, you telling people also because it IS a risk that is dangerous to take"

He took a deep breath before saying "This plan is a supposed alliance with Ask Thatguy's army to help us take down Facilier's army faster"

Magnus was not far behind Sam and Dean Winchester and he pulled a envelope out of his shirt pocket. "Well damn. All these invitations are making me feel like it's a surprise meeting for a party for some reason. Whatever. I'm just glad I was invited to it" Magnus was actually amused with the fact this was supposed to be a secret. Because normally people who did stuff like this didn't really trust the leader's imput. He stood near Sam, listening to what he said with a agreeing response "If it is I am so out of here. I have better things to do with my time than a prank or a initation" He then listened to Sherlock Holmes's response to a majority of the group member's questions of what they were doing here and why with a widened look of shock. Sherlock told them that he and mike were supposing a alliance with Ask thatguy to take down Facilier. As interesting as the concept sounded, it did indeed sound very dangerous. He turned to the others for some imput as he listened.

Donny was given a envelope with a letter in it just like the rest of them and was too curious to even bother asking why he was given one. He simply accepted it and did exactly what the envelope told him to do, which was to find the meeting group he was in right now. He went near Tara, pretty much the only one he trusted/knew the best and listened to her ask what was the matter and why they were all here. When Sherlock explained the whole situation, Donny's obvious first reaction was shock. He wasn't planning to of course tell of this idea or disagree because it sounded possible but he had no idea this thing was even thought up to begin with. "So what you're saying is, we go with one of our enemies to take down another one of our enemies?" He said in a paraphrasing tone of voice then he said with a hint of concern "But if Critic finds out about this, you do realize you could get in some serious trouble with him?"

"My god. Secrets all over. It's like being with Nick Fury again" Tony commented as he, Steve Rogers and Angry joe came with all three of their envelopes out. They came in around the same time as Diamanda did but while steve didn't speak and joe was looking at his letter, Tony was the one to make a snippy comment. As he always did. Steve Rogers and Tony stood next to each other while Joe went near Diamanda.

"Mr. Stone, I ask if there is a important matter to address? Because I'm not a big fan of secrets unless it is important" Steve said calmly and perhaps plesantly. He then rolled his eyes as Tony mocked him under his breath. Joe turned to Mike and nodded in agreement, a bit more serious than steve and tony combined. When the three men heard the idea all of their reactions were completely different, Joe was speechless and scratched his head nervously and commented "Jesus mike. You and sherlock really ARE taking a risk with this. No wonder it's a secret, it's a suicide mission. Why on earth would ask thatguy's members want to join us, even if they hate Facilier?"

Steve was also shocked but he wasn't nervous. He was more calm about it. He simply stated "I'm glad I'm not out of the loop but this is a very dangerous idea. We're siding with a enemy of Critic's, who is someone that critic despises, it'll be pretty terrible if he finds out"

"Then he won't have to freaking find out. That's why these two made it a secret. It's up to us to make this alliance. Shit, I say we give it a shot" Tony said with a slightly triumphant tone but he was aware of the secrecy so it was dumbdowned a bit.

[Dean Winchester]

Dean looked up as Sam, Tara, Magnus, Donny, Tony, Joe, and Steve arrived.

"Man this really is a group. Don't tell me we're about to start a rock band." said Dean.

He paused and grinned at Sam and Tara. He was really glad they were here. He'd fallen for Tara but he didn't want to admit it. Ever since he'd taking up hunting as a full time job he'd had the casual flings. But he didn't let anyone get too attached. He didn't want a repeat of what happened to his mother or Sam's girlfriend Jessica. But it looked like they were going to be here awhile. Besides if they ended this war he and Tara would most likely be sent back to their different worlds so he wouldn't see her again. But at the same time he didn't want to hurt her either. He focused back on the conversation raising an eyebrow and chuckled.

"So we've been gathered together for a secret mission to join Ask That Guy's Army? No offense but are you nuts. They're evil. They'd more likely try to kill us than help us. Plus they've got a couple gods on their side. And those are nearly impossible to kill." said Dean.

Diamanda smirked.

"An alliance might work but we'd have to plan this carefully. Definitely not involve Ash That Guy or Dark Nella. They'd definitely turn us down. But the soldiers might be willing to listen to me." said Diamanda.

Thor paused and sighed.

"Steve, Tony. Good to see you." said Thor.

He paused listening to Sherlock's plan.

"Yes. I believe this sounds like a good idea. Once we weaken Facilier's army we can capture them. Then worry about Ask That Guy's Army." said Thor.

Grimhilde frowned.

"They kept me a prisoner. I wouldn't want to work with them normally but if it means crippling Facilier's army then I'll do it. I'll start working on some powerful potions to help." said Grimhilde.

Mike paused seeing some of them seemed interest while others were concerned.

"Listen everyone I know we're asking a lot of you. I'm afraid this will be an all or nothing plan. If one of you doesn't want to do this then we'll have to scrap the idea. And yes I know I will get in trouble if Critic finds out. But this is my idea so I will take full responsibility. None of you will be punished. I will see to that. But we can get the soldiers to cooperate like Diamanda said. This alliance will help both of us out. So who's in?" said Mike.

There was a silence immediately afterwards. One by one Dean, Thor, Grimhilde, and Diamanda raised their hands signaling their were in. Mike smiled.

"Excellent. I know the members of Ask That Guy's army to ask and with all of your help we'll do it. We can arrange a meeting in a few days and plan our attack from there." said Mike.

[Sherlock Holmes]

"Yes Mr. Winchester, we know it is a insane idea but like mike said, we can get a lot of help to get rid of Facilier if we try this idea. We won't involve the leaders. We'll just start with us and certain ask thatguy members that we know are soilders willing to give us a shot. We ARE asking a lot but I said that doing this idea could lead to a very helpful situation" Sherlock added in after a lot of people responded with relunctance or had a specific imput. When mike started speaking, Sherlock frowned immensely when mike said that he would take all the responsibility. Something of which sherlock wasn't happy about but it convinced many of the people to join. He smiled, very pleased.

"Yes. We will arrange a meeting in a few days and see what we can do from there. With this alliance we can really damage facilier" Sherlock said finally

Donny was at first concerned but mike's words got to him as did Grimhilde's. She got captured and yet she was willing to do it and others seemed to be as well. Although some were concerned like he was, they seemed to eventually give into the idea as well. He thought long and hard before replying "I don't know about you guys but I'm in. I want that son-of-a-bitch to pay for taking my older brother!" Donny replied, remembering that leonardo was still with facilier which meant donny could finally be able to help him with this idea. He rose his hand high and replied "I'll do anything I can to keep this quiet. I don't want to risk a chance of not helping leo get out of faclier's grasp"

"Heya point break. Good to see ya" Tony replied calmly to thor as he arrived. He then listened to more of the plan and listened as mike asked who was in "I was in it the minute Holmes here told us what was going on. Screw risks, we should take more of them. Let's try this. It's worth a shot" Tony replied happily, raising his hand highly. He turned to joe and steve to encourage them before listening more to mike.

"I don't care about being punished by critic mike. I've seen things scarier than critic's rage. I'm only concerned about our lives but you and sherlock are damn smart. So for the sake of getting facilier the what-for...." Joe said firmly and with some sort of mitilant attitude, he rose his hand and replied "I'm in too. I'll try to keep critic out of the loop as long as I can. We speak about this to no-one but each other"

Steve sighed and smiled to thor before listening more to mike. Mike was right about it being a risk but the young man seemed determined and rather willing to pay the penalty of critic's anger. After everyone spoke their peace and rose their hands, Steve raised his hand also with a small grin "It's risky but I'll join in anyway. You can count me in too, Mr. Stone"

Magnus sighed after listening to the others put their imput and raise their hands in agreement over this admittedly risky mission. Magnus rubbed his hands before raising a hand "Ah what the hell, I haven't done anything very interesting since I arrived. I should be more use with this little arrangement you're putting here, Stone. Count me in" He rose his hand down and then pondered about mike's specific villains he knew to ask. "And who would those villians be? I mean, can we at least know who we're asking too, stone?"

As more members arrived, Tara took a glance over at Donny, glad to see the turtle was involved in whatever this meeting was about. Unfortunately, it seemed as if he didn't know much about the situation either. Looked like they were all going to find out what was going on together.

Her gaze adjusted from the turtle to Dean, noticing that he gave her a grin. He certainly was a sight for sore eyes, not to mention that he looked even better with a smile on his face. It didn't hurt that he seemed like a fun guy to hang out with. Wait, she wasn't falling for him, was she? After all, this was a war, and that should have been the priority, right? Then again, she saw plenty of couples scattered around the house. But if there was anything really holding her back, it was her fear of rejection and loss.

Mixed thoughts swirled around in her head, but that didn't stop her from smiling back.

Her attention drifted from Dean to the conversation at hand. The reason for the gathering was revealed. There was a proposed alliance between their army and Ask That Guy's army. There was mild disagreement amongst the members, wondering if it was a good idea or not. Sure, they were the enemy, but would it be so bad to take down one group? If they could tear apart Facilier's group, that meant they'd only had Ask That Guy to deal with. If the alliance worked out, this could work out in their favor. Her arms dropped back to her side once it seemed like a good idea to voice her opinion.

"You know I'm up for taking down Facilier and his buddies, kicking a little ass, taking names. If that means we gotta be buddies with Ask That Guy for a while, then I'll do whatever it takes. My lips are sealed," she said, raising her own hand to signal that she was joining in with the plan.

Sam was surprised to hear the reason behind the meeting. It wasn't an initiation, or an introduction, or anything along those lines. It was an alliance proposal. Siding with the enemy? That sounded dangerous and crazy. If things didn't work out, it could easily end badly. He looked at his brother when Dean talked about how things could go sour, and though he briefly wondered who he flashed a smile at, there were more important things running through his head.

The younger Winchester brother, however, wasn't entirely opposed to the idea. It couldn't hurt to at least try to make some sort of alliance, could it? Maybe some of the members could be persuaded to make an alliance. "It's worth a shot to try, right?" he commented as he rose his own hand. He looked down at Magnus. The guy had a point. It would be nice to at least know the names of who they planned on talking to. "Yeah, I'm wondering who you're thinking of asking to join in on this alliance too."

(ooc: since this is set before Terra joins Ask That Guy's army they won't think to recruit her. But she'd obviously be asked to join off screen at some point. Unless we do a meeting thread between the two groups at some point.)

Mike nodded.

"You're right. Here's the list Sherlock and I have gone over. We only thought of 13 choices. But since there's 14 of us we may need to get a 14th villain to make it even." said Mike.

Mike pulled out a device and pressed a button. The device gave off a beam of energy that hit the wall showing a projection of a list of words onto the wall.

"I know these villains aren't trustworthy and you may be unhappy with some of these choices. Maybe they were your enemies in your old lives. Or you've fought them before in this war. But if we have any hope of taking on the likes of Facilier and Rita we need a powerful sorcerer. Hades and Loki are two of the best sorcerers Ask That Guy has. So what are your thoughts?" asked Mike.

Dean smirked.

"Well glad everything's agreed upon. How about we found out who we're working with like my brother and Magnus said?" asked Dean.

He paused looking at the list and was shocked at some of the choices.

"You want to put two gods on your team? Isn't that risky?" asked Dean.

Diamanda nodded.

"Yes. There's not going to be that many in Ask That Guy's army that will want to work with us. But more importantly we need to be wary of a double cross. Once the mission's over they may try to kill us. Or make more slaves like they did with Jasmine." said Diamanda.

She paused frowning at the choices but Mike was right. They didn't have to like this but going up against the likes of Facilier, Rita, Malachite, Jafar, and who knows what else they needed power houses like Loki and Hades.

"I don't like it much either but Mike's right." said Diamanda.

Grimhilde frowned at Diamanda's words.

"I will NOT go back to being a captive. Once was enough. I will help you with this alliance but we must prepare for a quick exit if they try to capture us. Or worse sabotage it so we get hurt as well. I wouldn't put it past them." said Grimhilde.

She paused frowning at Terl's name on the list.

"Do we have to involve that oaf? He's such an imbecile. Hardly seems worth the time to recruit him." said Grimhilde.

Thor paused smiling Tony and Steve were joining.

"I'm glad you're joining. It wouldn't be the same without you two joining us." said Thor, grinning.

He paused and nodded.

"He's right. We should find out who we're going to team up with." said Thor.

Thor paused as Mike displayed the list. Thor was surprised to see Loki on the list but he agreed with Mike's logic.

"I will be with you as well. I will keep an eye on my brother. But even I can't stop two gods. The rest of you will need to deal with Hades if he tries anything." said Thor.

(OCC: All seems fine to me. We can always just allow Terra to join off-screen. Oh and the reason donny reacts the way he does is because he hasn't recieved word JUST YET on karai or shredder, so his reaction is the acknowledgement that they are here)

Sherlock awaited mike to give the list and nodded only when Magnus, the winchester's and thor commented on who exactly they wanted to know was joining them. He turned to the list as it was shown on the wall and only awaited the reactions of others. Although Dean had justified concerns, Mike's explaination seemed to humble the winchester. But just in case, Sherlock responded "We need powerful people. Yes it is risky but everything we are doing is a risk, we need to have their magic because it is very beneficial to our cause"

He then responded to Grimhilde's comments, seeing the queen somewhat uncomfortable "That, madame, I assure you will be one of our priorities. If we ever have the possibility of capture, the way of escape shalt be dealt with presently. As for Terl, he is admittedly inept but he is simple-minded, someone like him can be easy to convince to join our cause" He turned to thor who responded he'd keep an eye on loki but hades could be a bit of trouble for them. Something of which sherlock was hesitant on

As donny paid close attention to the meeting, he gasped as he saw Shredder's name on the list as well as Karai. Due to paying more attention to other affairs, the acknowledgement of both karai and shredder being here was a bit too late for him to be aware of. "Mike, Sherlock. I'm more than happy to still be a part of this, but you better either have me keep an eye on karai or shredder or both, or at least have someone keep them on a tight leash. Having them on your side is like making a deal with a devil, trust me. They're pure evil. Well maybe not karai but she's so loyal to her father she might as well be" He sighed heavily, rubbing his eyes. He then knew for sure to keep this a secret because splinter or raph would NEVER allow him to do this. Mikey would probably freak out if he knew too. Suddenly, being a part of this plan seemed less easy

Tony patted thor's shoulder "Not a problem. I was waiting for something as fun as this" He then smirked and responded "You got a impressive list here fellas. As much as I don't like loki on there, he IS powerful and since dear thor here is gonna keep an eye on him, we can just work on finding somebody to keep an eye on hades" He sighed slightly, looking to steve who was obviously more hesitant with the loki idea than he was. He then widened his eyes and cried out "Mechakara?! Him?! That annoying pain in my ass is on this list?" He looked angry at first then he laughed hard "Well thank god. It's about time I paid that mechamoron another chance of banter with me or have him be annoyed by me further, he's been a pest since I met him. If you need somebody to watch over that dingbat, count me in"

Steve couldn't help but smile as thor expressed his like over him and tony joining. He nodded to what tony said about joining and responded to thor "Not a problem. I'd rather be on the mission than be the ignorant person out of it" He then rolled his eyes at tony's reaction to mechakara being on the list. "Don't get so excited stark. We have others to focus on" Steve said firmly. He turned to Mike and saw Donny's immediate rant over shredder and karai. He gave the turtle a assuring look before turning to mike "This seems like a rather dangerous list, no wonder this is such a risk at all. But it's a good list. There seems to be a lot of names with a lot of potential. As much as I don't like loki, no offense to you thor, he's cunning and powerful"

"Zod and Terl? Wow. Those idiots. Well, maybe they'll be less idiotic with this plan we're involving them in, but I doubt it" Joe commented lightly, rolling his eyes. He then pondered over Yellow Lantern Chuckles "Huh. Spoony told me about yellow lantern chuckles but I didn't think he'd actually be here. Whatever. Guess we can use some more lantern power anyway"

Magnus was rather pleased to see not one, not two, but three people actually agree with what he said. That being out of the loop of who these people were was not really the best strategy to have. The police detective looked over the list and saw various reactions, some good others bad and others rather intimidated. Him? He was either indifferent or curious. While most seemed pointless to discover, Magnus couldn't help but feel interested in thrax, for it sounded like the most interesting name to him out of the bunch. Yet Hades and Loki seemed to get the most reactions, seeing they were sorcerers didn't surprise magnus that they'd be hissy about inviting powerful people like that and magnus felt a bit out of the loop for not being as uncomfortable as the rest were. "Well powerful or not, we at least got some potential people. Now that we know who we plan to work with, we should make sure that if they try anything they're put on a leash. A tight one I might add"
