(OCC: March 5th, afternoon. Loki and Hades thread)
Loki threw his green apple up and down in bored expression, he was planning on eating it but he felt very bored for some reason. Pinnochio was training early, La was on her shift to assist Dark Nella with spells, Ask Thatguy had no requests for him and Thor seemed to be rather quiet since their last reunion. Gods above was he bored! What was it with him? He was praying for peace and quiet but now that he had it for some time now, he was starting to regret his wish. He felt a bit childish wanting attention but he always tended to desire attention, whether good or bad. He conjured the apple from a green one to a red one before turning it green again and decided to finally eat the apple. After a bite he mumbled "It is rather strange there is no-one around here"

Hades paused as he walked out seeing Loki. He grinned as he joined him.
"Hello Loki. You know you're my kind of guy. The Loki in my world was nothing compared to you. Sure he was evil. Tried to wipe out his family like me. But he was a wimp compared to you." said Hades.
He grinned conjuring a cup of wine into his hand as he took a sip as he walked over to Loki.
"At least you have another chance at taking out your brother and your enemies. No one from my world's shown up here. It's kind of disappointing." said Hades.
Loki's gaze turned immediately upward to Hades. He smiled at the god, especially smiling at the praise the god of death(according to the greeks) was giving him. Loki raised his head up slightly, proud to impress someone despite the fact in hade's world there was indeed a loki but not like himself. According to hades, this loki was a "wimp" and was nothing compared to he himself. That caused Loki to grin "My dear friend, there are no men like me. I do appreciate your words though" He looked down at the cup of wine, smirking, obviously figuring out that hades was a very casual person to be so calm with loki. Grantite, Hades was a god and didn't really need to worry about anyone other than Loki or other gods but the god of mischief wouldn't of been surprised if Hades decided to mistrust him but instead the god of death treated him like a equal. That felt a lot more interesting to him. He was rather glad of the casuality the god of death had for him.
He then frowned ever so slightly at the mention of Thor "Forgive me but I would allow you to know that Thor was raised alongside me but we are not brothers" Loki always tried to deny it, so it was easy to just say no to it even though a pang in his heart came up before loki could stop it. He then tried to forget about it by subjecting to the other questions hades threw at him, as well as make some up of his own. He pondered slightly "Let us just say my enemies although seemingly easy are rather tricky to handle. Nevertheless I will enjoy myself with them, oh yes I will" He then turned to Hades and responded with a eyebrow raised "Your enemies are not here? Hercules would be rather fun for you to handle. I have heard of him and you battling in... my childhood stories... Rather interesting I thought"

Hades chuckled as Loki spoke.
"Such confidence. But you're quite right. I haven't met anyone like you." said Hades.
He smiled at him. So Loki and Thor weren't really brothers. That was interesting. But Loki didn't want to talk about that so he respected it and went along with the change of conversation.
"Well if you ever need backup to take them out I'm always free to help." said Hades.
He nodded.
"Yeah. Hercules isn't here. Or his wife Meg. Or Zeus and the rest of the gods. I think the two of us are the only gods here. Although Dark Nella's pretty powerful as well." said Hades.
He paused with a grin.
"You know we're roommates and this is the first time we've really spent much time alone together. I'd like us to be friends. We have a lot in common." said Hades.
"And I have not met anyone like you, Hades. Tis a good thing actually, the majority of gods I was forced to accompany with were Thor's friends, and they were quite intolerable" Loki said with a eye-roll. He was honest to god annoyed with Sif, Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg. Particuarly Sif bothered him but the other three weren't always the nicest of buddies even before his fall to the abyss. He was glad the god of death changed the subject, the fact that hades respected his privacy was something the god of mischief took in appreciation. Loki listened to Hades and nodded at his suggestion of being free to assist loki if his enemies were being a pain, which was something loki had a good feeling they would be. Eventually hades got back to his comment over hercules and commented he wasn't here, along with hercules' wife meg or zeus and the rest of them. It was just him, Loki and possibly Dark Nella here. "That is rather tedious isn't it? The opposite god is Thor and even then it is not fun. Hopefully that changes"
He then pondered over Hades' suggestion of being friends since they were roommates. Loki would've been lying if he didn't think the same thing. The two did have things in common and Loki didn't see why not. "I feel that is a suggestion I can accept. I am more than happy to gain more friends than enemies. Besides, you have quite the powers even I am interested in" He smirked, looking at the wine and decided to just conjure himself a cup of wine himself. He offered his glass to hades to toast with and responded "To our friendship and alliance"

Hades smirked at him.
"Well I say gods like us are rare. One in a million. Most gods just are too good and pure and just want to help these mortals. And before well I'd just write them all off as expendable. But then I met Ask That Guy and the others here. And I think some of these mortals might be worth saving after all. And you know that beautiful sorceress queen La of yours. I believe there's something I can help you with. You see there's something special called the golden apples. One bite will turn anyone into a god. They don't exist in this universe. But if we can find a way to steal them from another universe then you your girlfriend will be just as immortal as we are. After all your enemies will view her as a weakness and may target her to get to you." said Hades.
He hoped there was a way to get the golden apples here. If not them then some other way to help La with that problem. He knew the heroes while kindhearted would do what it took to survive. After all he'd heard of Holli's death and she was just a human. A sorceress like La was more of a threat. Hades nodded listening to Loki.
"Yes it is. Thor wouldn't stand a chance against you. But add Dark Nella and myself and the guy would be easy prey. A shame there's not much of a challenge here." said Hades.
He smiled as Loki agreed to their friendship and even conjured glasses of wine. Hades took the glass and grinned. He clinked the glass with Loki's.
"To our friendship." said Hades.
Hades then drunk the wine with one sip with a grin.
"This is pretty good. You'll have to teach me this spell sometime." said Hades.
"Yes. Unfortunately they assume the humans to be similar to Gods. As in they die, they feel and whatnot, however they forget that humans die while Gods last for quite some time. That being said, you are correct. Not all humans are worthless. On the contrary they are far more interesting and worthwhile than any of the people here in this midgardian area. And yes, La is by far the most important mortal" Loki said in agreement with Hades, smiling softly at the mention of la. This was the type of conversation he could enjoy. Hades got what he was saying all along. That gods were meant to rule over the humans. Well, most humans. La didn't need to be ruled. If he was king of some part of the world from ATG's permission, she was his first option as queen.
His eyes widened at the idea of golden apples. He assumed those as legends but the idea sounded extremely possible. La lasting forever thanks to these would break a burden that he himself was thinking of a lot. . He quickly looked up at Hades and responded "Well then. We must find a way to retrieve one of these apples. If we cannot then I might have a option in my spells. Regardless I wish to find this to make her more powerful than she is. So she can be safe" He didn't want to fail la but he didn't want to give her false hope either. This was a dilemna that he didn't want to have la be put under for long. He then cringed at Hades' correct assumption that once his enemies found out about his ties with La, they would possibly use her as bait or a target. He then smiled, despite hades not meaning anything by it, his smile was bitter and had a sense of unamused attitude within. He responded calmly "You are right. They will probably target her. But that will be their mistake. Not only will I terminate them but so will La herself. She is no weakness they'll see and they will realize she is strong, and that she is my reason to fight against them" He smirked after speaking that. He had no problems admitting his admiration for the jungle queen, she was a damn powerful woman to be able to do what she did to survive as well as take care of herself.
"Indeed. It's not fun. I'm very disappointed" Loki said, more light-hearted now and he agreed with hades. He wanted to have fun causing chaos. He was a trickster at heart and while he had his problems, conflicts and stress, he had his ability to love what he did as well as enjoy causing the stuff he caused. He overall did causing mischief, chaos was just the bigger more public kind. He then clinked wine glasses with his new friend and nodded pleased that the god of dead approved of his magic. It was actually nice to get reconigtion for his skills. Especially from other gods. Children were different from adults. Adults were hardly impressed with these things. "Of course. It is rather easy to do. I can teach it to you in no time" He then pondered as he sipped his wine of the things he handled so far. Except the trouble with Thor, nothing that bad came up. Only new people he trusted and cared about.

Hades grinned.
"You know I was thinking perhaps we should leave some of those fools from Facilier and Critic's armie alive. After all, we need some good servants. We just take out the powerful ones like the sorcerers and superhero types. And what's left we can work for us. We could always kill them later if they get out of line but it'd be fun to let them know they failed and are stuck working for us." said Hades.
He grinned as Loki agreed that La was very special.
"You're one lucky god Loki. I haven't found anyone like that. I admit liking Aphrodite the Greek Goddess of Love but she's turned me down every time. I do want to find someone to share eternity with. But I just haven't found that person yet." said Hades.
He paused as Loki was surprised by the golden apples.
"Yes. They're real. I think of Insano's first device can people here then surely he could build one to bring objects here. Or help us go to the world where the golden apples exist. And if we can find more than one than perhaps we could make others immortal like that boy Pinocchio you're fond of." said Hades.
He nodded as Loki said he would try one of his spells.
"True. The golden apples aren't the only way to make someone immortal. I'm sure we'll find a way to help her." said Hades.
He was glad Loki agreed they needed to protect La knowing the other armies might target her.
"I know she can take care of herself. Unfortunately she's not as strong as us. Perhaps Dark Nella could help make her immortal somehow if our plans fail. She's pretty powerful as well." said Hades.
He smirked as Loki agreed it wasn't much fun without competition.
"Speak for yourself. You've got that team of heroes the Avengers you can play with including your brother. At least until you get bored with them. There's no one aside from Thor and Dark Nella who's really at our level. Then again I suppose it's a good thing there's not. It'll make taking over this world and defeating the other armies easier." said Hades.
He chuckled and clinked glasses with Loki in celebration. He smiled as Loki said he could teach him the spell to summon wine.
"Thanks. It's hard to find good wine anyway. Learning how to make it would be useful." said Hades.
Hades paused trying to think of where to conquer.
"You know I'm thinking once we take over I'll take over Greece at least. Perhaps Europe in general since I did have Greeks and Romans worshiping me after all." said Hades.
"Perhaps. Having them kneel before us, or me, sounds quite the treat" Loki said, smiling devilishly at the thought. Thor being his slave, due to his royal status, was a hilarious idea to him. He then widened his eyes ever so slightly at Hades' comment of killing all the powerful allies of both sides. He could care less about facilier's ones or tony stark but thor was someone he couldn't himself kill or let anyone else kill. "Perhaps not everyone. Let us keep thor alive when we win" He said when because he was so confident his side would indeed win. He then saw the confusion on Hades face and instantly replied with a sadistic looking grin "So I can make him beg for his life and kneel before me. It seems amusing for me to see him beg for Foster's life also" He then explained quickly "Foster is Jane Foster, thor's lover. She is weak but I wish to pay her a visit that I promised thor to"
"Yes. It is very fortunate of me to have found someone who can love a monster such as myself" Loki said, solemnly and rubbing his cheek where La first kissed him at. He smiled at the very thought of her. Turning to the god he then expressed cheerfulness to express support for his new friend "Everyone finds their other eventually. I too thought I was a lost cause but La proved me wrong. You will find her... Or him. Whichever is your preference" He was no stranger to some people going with the same gender and loki was definitely approving of that, he shapeshifted into women before to fool around with men so it wasn't a huge deal to him. If it was a deal at all. He responded with a chuckle "From what I understand Aphrodite could not be committed to any man, so it was not just you she disapproved of I'm sure"
He was very glad that the legends of the golden apples that he was told about were indeed real. The idea of Insano's device grabbing them here for her sounded perfect "Yes. We must reach them with Insano's device so we can help her. If it does work that is" He then expressed some sort of amusement as Hades also pointed out his concern for pinnochio. He was not ashamed of it per-se but he was relieved that hades was the only one that commented on it. The child was someone of his concern, the only ones that he truly cared for and trusted were La, Hades and Pinnochio. Everyone else he either tolerated or got along simply because of their alliance. No connections were with any of them at all, maybe even the leaders. The leaders he respected and would provide his sources to, because pinnochio was their son and he was a soilder but other than that, the leaders to him were admittedly pointless. "The boy is someone of interest. He has very little people to trust. He trusts me, and even though he is wise to be weary, I am determined to impress him. He's afraid. I cannot let him lose his faith, if he does, then this wretched world loses another creature of potential" He said softly, rubbing one of his hands "I trust him too. Which is foolish of me yes but children I believe are different. You, hades, are my friend indeed but right now I only confessed to the boy. Forgive me for not feeling ready to share much things about myself to you" He did feel bad but hades was someone he didn't completely trust quite yet. He trusted hades enough to fight alongside with or depend on in battles, but not with personal things yet.
He chuckled at Hades' comment that he needed to speak for himself, that he had his enemies all in one place to be annoyed with "My, my. Do I detect a craving of satisfaction towards your enemies hades? Good, perhaps hercules if he ever shows up will realize he made a powerful enemy very angry" He then shrugged "Satisfaction is not in my nature so my enemies being here does not really satisfy me so I admit I spoiled myself with them" He then chuckled again as hades expressed liking towards his wine "Very well. I suppose it will" He drank more of his wine, gently though so he wouldn't mess up with his head. He then nodded at the idea of taking control of europe "Greece sounds fine to you. I prefer london or ireland. Though I tried to take germany before and it didn't go well, maybe I should try again"

Hades smirked.
"That does sound like an amusing idea." said Hades.
He could agree with that sentiment. The idea of Zeus bowing down to him would be very appealing.
"I had it all once you know. I actually took over Mt. Olympus and was very happy. I rewove the Tapestry of Fate so I was the king of the gods and Zeus ruled the Underworld. Basically swapping lives with him. Of course, this made Hercules my son and a god. But with me in charge of Olympus, I didn't really seem to care. Of course, he ruined that plan by changing the loom back to him being a demigod and switching Zeus and I back to our original lives." said Hades.
He doubted there was anything like it in this world. That was for sure. He paused listening as Loki suggested making Thor and Jane his slaves.
"Sounds like a good idea then. I could whip up a magical potion to make Thor mortal if you wanted once we took over. So even if he escaped your control he wouldn't be able to form another army and be easier to recapture." said Hades.
He would just need to get some fresh ingredients but he could make it work. Of course, he kept this a secret. After all, if Critic or Facilier learned of this potion they might try to turn him Loki or himself mortal. And neither of them wanted that. He smiled at Loki.
"I'm sure I will find someone someday. And I do like women and men. I'm not picky. Although Aphrodite was probably one of my first crushes. And she constantly rejected me. I did get one date with her but that was thanks to Medusa. I'm sure someone will come along." said Hades.
He grinned glad the idea of the golden apples would work.
"But we need to make sure the machine doesn't just pull random items or put them everywhere. The last thing we'd want is anyone in the other armies getting a golden apple. The armies are powerful enough as it is." said Hades.
Hades smiled at him.
"Hey. It's ok. I mean I like kids. Sometimes I wish I could have kids of my own. But I never found the right person. But you being friends with him is fine by me. He is one of our leader's kids after all so it's a smart move to me to befriend him." said Hades.
He nodded when Loki said he wasn't ready to share much with him.
"That's ok. Trust is earned after all so perhaps one day you'll feel more like talking to me. I'm ok with that." said Hades.
He smirked at Loki's words.
"I wish Hercules or Zeus was here. I'd really enjoy beating them. Having one of them as my slaves wouldn't be so bad either." said Hades.
He grinned at Loki.
"Well, perhaps you wouldn't mind if I took a crack at some of them. That Iron Man guy or the green giant both could be fun to fight against." said Hades.
Hades grinned sipping at his wine glad he'd learn the recipe soon enough.
"You couldn't conquer Germany in your world. Well, it's such a small country though. I mean if you're going to conquer something why not China or Russia where you'd get a lot of slaves and a lot of land. Well that's up to you of course." said Hades.
Loki was glad Hades actually agreed with a majority of what he said. He then listened to Hades explain that he used to have everything and rearranged his fate, making him the god of everything and the father of hercules before it all changed to the way thing were. Loki never felt he could change his fate or anything of that kind because his world was different from Hades' as well as this one he was in. "Incredible. You had everything you wanted and yet some fool still took it. No wonder you wish to take them down so badly. I actually empatize. I too used to have the throne before thor just snatched it from me. A long story that I do not want to get into right now" Loki said finally, calmly and plainly.
Loki widened his eyes as Hades claimed that he could make Thor mortal "If you can indeed do this, best we do it when we have indeed taken over. For if facilier or critic finds out about this, they could harm us and other god-like enemies with this. Best keep it to ourselves. That said, I quite like your proposal" Loki had no problem making thor mortal, it was different from torture or capture, it was simply making thor live less, that wasn't entirely a bad issue.
"She or he will. I actually admire your open range, it gives you more opportunity. I myself enjoy both men and women but La quickly got my attention let's say" Loki said, openly confessing his bisexuality. He had no problems admitting his sexuality, since it was pretty different from his past. He trusted Hades to know this somewhat pointless information, besides if hades was against him, Loki doubted he could use this confession against him. So it wasn't a big deal to him.
"Right. We should talk to Insano. His technology is much more different than mine, I find it best to confess to him" Loki admittedly calmly as Hades pointed out that it was best they be careful. He was right, the golden apples were very dangerous to have lying around. One of the children could eat them by accident and become something stronger than ever.
"Thank you for your support in the matter, Hades. I trust the boy, and yes the fact that he is the leader's son makes it beneficial professionally as well as personally. Yet that is not really the reason for my trust or liking to him. It's more of a connection sort of thing" Loki said as Hades said that he didn't mind Loki liking or befriending Pinnochio. He especially smiled as Hades suggested that he wanted children and loki honestly started thinking of maybe, one day, having a son or daughter of his own. It would be nice to raise someone and do it better than odin or laufey ever did for him.
"There is the definite possibility Hades. I will eventually tell you but thank you for your patience" Loki said, gratefully and kindly. He was glad Hades was hurt or offended, he felt better that his new god friend wasn't annoyed with him already. It burnt no bridges, therefore no-one had tension.
"Zeus and you in a battle could be nice. Also, you have my complete permission to take down the green beast or iron man. It's more of thor or captain america I like to fight" Loki said calmly about the enemies he and hades faced. He then chuckled as Hades pointed out germany was so small and that other countries were bigger and had more people "Yes. Germany is small but the culture and people are easy to look at and take down. Perhaps russia next but germany is a soft spot for me to try and take" He sipped his wine some more and relished a little in the taste before drinking a little more.
Post by Hades/Nikos Callas on Jan 8, 2014 13:45:01 GMT -5
Hades nodded listening to him.
"Yes. So many of my plans were ruined by Hercules or his mortal friends or even Zeus and the other gods. Or my incompetent henchmen Pain and Panic. I almost wish Hercules was here. Thor's the only one that's really a challenge I think. Which is a shame. I wouldn't want to end this war too soon. Where's the fun in that?." said Hades.
He chuckled. He knew Ask That Guy and the others wanted it to end. But once it was over then there'd be nothing left. It would probably be boring so he wanted this war to last as long as it could. Hades nodded as Loki said he didn't want to get into his own back story.
"Fair enough. Your past is your story to tell whenever you want to." said Hades.
Hades nodded.
"You're right. Wouldn't want this to be used against either of us. But you know that gives me an idea. Perhaps we could make a similar potion to remove someone's magic or block it. Facilier, Rita, Malachite, Maleficent, and so many others in Facilier and critic's army have magic. We remove the magic and they're no longer a threat. It might take a while to make though if it works." said Hades.
Hades grinned at Loki's support.
"Thanks. I'm sure I'll find someone eventually. But for now I'm ok being single. I haven't had much luck in the dating world anyway like with Aphrodite." said Hades.
He grinned as Loki talked about his relationship with La. He was surprised Loki mentioned he liked men and women but he seemed happy with La. So Hades was happy for his friend.
"La's a lucky woman to have you. I hope I have what you two have someday." said Hades.
Hades nodded glad Loki agreed to be careful about the golden apples and talk to Insano.
"I hope it works. If we can't get the golden apples then we'll think of something else to make La immortal. If necessary maybe we could take Thor's immortality and transfer it to La. I think it could be done. It would just be tricky." said Hades.
Hades grinned and nodded.
"Don't mention it. You're my friend. Besides the kid's not that bad. I'm not a kid person normally but I kinda like him. Since most of them were adopted by the leaders so we got to be nice to them anyway." said Hades.
Hades smirked as the topic shifted to enemies.
"Well I think Mechakara has a score to settle with that tin can. But fighting the Hulk could be fun. Or maybe Maleficent. She is a powerful foe. A sorceress who can turn into a dragon. I think DH can do that as well. Dragons are very powerful creatures and we got two people who can turn into dragons so they both need to be taken care of. But don't worry. Thor and the captain are yours." said Hades.
He nodded as they talked about countries.
"Greece is pretty small too I suppose. Germany and Russia both sound like good ideas. I might try to take Rome. Or the modern day version of it. I mean Greek and Romans did worship the greek gods in my world. Of course they called me Pluto. Which still irritates me. It sounds like a dog's name." said Hades.
He clenched his fist furious as his hair on his head was now orange as he paused realizing he was getting upset over nothing. He calmed down as his hair turned blue again.
"Sorry. That's just a touchy subject for me." said Hades.
He sipped some more wine enjoying his chat with Loki.
"I can definitely say I agree with you on that, my friend. It would be rather boring to not be challanged. As much as the avengers pestered me, it was amusing to see their passion to destroy my attempts. Your enemies will regret testing you someday and perhaps the war will bring you new challenges" Loki said after Hades made a few comments about his plans being faltered by his enemies as well as his henchman who accidently screwed things up. Loki was more interested in the fact his new friend liked the fact that the war was going on. Pinnochio expressed that he hated it(Which was fine, children were supposed to not like it) and many adults including the leader wishing it to be over and done with. As for loki, he personally both liked and hated it, he hated that his now cared ones were in the middle but he could care less about the morality of war. He was raised by warriors. It was in his nature to fight. So it was fine to make it last a little bit, so long as he or others he cared about didn't get too hurt.
"There is the definite possibility that it could work. Why not? I think that is a excellient idea. Magic, in this war, is a powerful tool for all three armies. We get rid of it for the other two and we will be safe. Best to use time on the potion than use none at all" Loki said, agreeing with the idea hades made entirely. Critic and Facilier had a lot of magic on their side, admittedly powerful magic too, Facilier was a magician and Critic had people who were very powerful such as Maleficent from what others told him.
"Very reasonable. Best you wait and let the chance come to you" Loki said, confirming a end to the matter of Hades' interest in dating. Loki had no problem with Hades waiting, it wasn't his decision or any of his business. He then smiled again as Hades responded that La was lucky to have someone like him(Which in reality Loki was lucky to have someone like her) and that he hoped that he had a connection similar to loki and la's connection.
"Yes, if the golden apples are not available to us, we could try your suggestion of taking thor's immortality. But best we have faith and try to find these golden apples" Loki said calmly. He knew it was a risk and most likely impossible but he was too stubborn. He didn't want to rule it out. He wanted la to live longer with him. He wanted to give her the chance to spend many years with him.
"The child is indeed good. He's misguided thanks to Facilier and many others taking advantage of his youthful mind. I know what it is like to be decieved. If I could, I would kill the boy's enemies just for the sake of it" Loki said bitterly. It was a tender subject that he and pinnochio related so well but Loki felt a personal need for revenge against those fools named honest john and gideon and others. It made him so angry that people had the audacity to harm a child. Tricking them was fine but tricking them to the point of nearly harming them was someone that didn't set right.
"Then let the robotic man take down Stark, he is more than welcome to. He deserves a chance of revenge. You deserve a chance of revenge. Hel, we all deserve a chance of revenge. But yes, feel free with maleficent and the beast. I could care less about them. Besides, the hulk will most likely just throw me about like a ragdoll anyway" He gave a very unnoticable shudder but his voice made a shuddering sound which implied he was either disgusted, frightened or both. He then chuckled "Thank you. Captain Rogers does have a distaste in me, mostly because he's very much a moral man as well as a mortal one. Thor is... for the lack of a better word...personal"
"Feel free to take rome. The culture there is very popular but it is not for me. I'm more interested in england's culture. With the monarchs and whatnot. As well as, previously stated, germany. There is good culture there also" He then saw his friend begin to rant about how romans called him Pluto which to hades was a testy subject. Then to prove the anger and sensitivity of the subject, Hades' fire hair began to burn furiously with colors of a regular fire and Loki was not afraid instead he was in awe. It was rather interesting. Loki knew hades had fire hair but the way it burned was so incredible. Loki liked fire so maybe that was why he enjoyed seeing it. He smiled as Hades apoligized "No fear hades. You did not frighten or alarm me. I agree. Pluto is a terrible name. I believe it is a dog's name. Someone called... Walt Disney... made a pet for a mouse and his name was pluto"
He shrugged "I could be inaccurate. I got this information from Dr. Smith though so his words not mine" He chuckled sipping his wine "I like your actual name better, hades. I'll call you that. Don't worry"
Post by Hades/Nikos Callas on Feb 20, 2014 16:59:57 GMT -5
Hades grinned.
"Well, it might be amusing to fight these avengers. Iron Man seems pretty tough. He sort of reminds me of Hephaestus. He was the Greek God who made weapons and armor for us. He might be an interesting challenge. And the one Steve with his super strength could be similar to my nephew Hercules. They won't be easy to beat."said Hades.
Hades smiled as Loki agreed with him.
"Excellent. While I think our army and Facilier's have the most sorcerers there are still a few within Critic's army. Maleficent is the most powerful threat." said Hades.
He nodded agreeing to work on the potion.
"Keep this is a secret between us for now. If I fail at least it will be a private failure. But if I'm successful then we can begin removing magic from our enemies." said Hades.
Hades nodded listening to him.
"You're right. Well, I have plenty of time to find someone. For now, I want to focus on winning this war." said Hades.
Hades nodded.
"Alright. So we have a back up plan in case we can't summon the golden apples. Although we'd need to find a way to remove Thor's powers and contain them. We don't want them vanishing on us. Or worse someone else like Facilier trying to steal them for themselves." said Hades.
He smiled and nodded.
"Perhaps we could help him. Maybe give him a confidence potion or something. If you think it'd be a good idea of course. That poor kid's been through enough even before he came here. I saw the film he's from. I'm a villain and even I wouldn't put a kid through half of that stuff." said Hades.
Hades nodded.
"Very well. Mechakara can take Stark. I guess I'll take care of The Hulk, Maleficent, and anyone else I think is a worthy challenge." said Hades.
Hades looked at Loki in sympathy.
"Then I shall make him one of my targets for sure. No one hurts a friend of mine and gets away with it." said Hades.
Hades chuckled.
"Should be interesting to watch you two fight then." said Hades.
He grinned.
"Sounds good. Greece and Rome it is for me then. I wonder if I can find a way to make a new Mt. Olympus here." said Hades.
Hades smiled at him.
"Yes. It's an annoying name. Although I better not let them know I don't like it as anyone would try to get me fired up. No pun intended of course." said Hades.
Hades paused with a grin as he sipped some more wine.
"I believe you about that. It does sound like a dog's name. But I'm glad I still have Hades to fall back on. At least Pluto's not my real name." said Hades.
"Interesting comparisons you make. But yes, despite them being rather trying, I am very positive you can defeat the avengers. It will be rather amusing to see you against them one day" Loki said, nodding as Hades made comparisons of what Tony Stark and Steve were to the greek gods Hades was around. A interesting concept to the norse god this was.
"Yes. I have heard of the witch known as Maleficent. She is definitely someone to not underestimate" Loki said in response to Hades' need to take down Critic's powerful allies, as for the facilier magician members Loki was aware of them and nodded in agreement to what Hades said. The god of mischief saw no reason to disagree, so he went along for it.
"Consider this matter resolved. My tongue is still. I will not say a word of this" Loki promised, raising both hands in public surrender. Although he felt a bit funny keeping a promise to not tell something, he was very good at these types of promises. If there was one thing you could trust about Loki, it was to keep secrets.
"Agreed. Enough of this chatter about these things, we must focus on important matters. Such as the golden apples and the chance of the backup plan of taking thor's immortality. I concur with your statement to needing to find a way to contain Thor's powers, if anyone like Facilier reaches them, the result would be catastrophic" Loki continued, changing the subject to once again talk about the side-interests of talking about how to use his former brother's powers and how to be careful with them. Loki was ambitious but he was not stupid. If la needed to rely on Thor's powers, which hopefully didn't have to be the case, they needed to be careful.
"Have you? He told me many terrible things. That's precisely why I wish to annihilate his enemies. Actually, perhaps a harmless spell or potion might not actually be something he requires. I do not want to immediately work on it but if the worst happens, we could use that confidence potion. I feel that maybe the child just needs someone consistent to rely on, someone who for sure will not abandon or manipulate him" Loki responded, anger evident in his expressions. He then sighed heavily as Hades commented that despite Hades' background, even the god of death wouldn't dare do such terrible things to a child. "Children are indeed different from adults. They are people who need to learn, not suffer. What good is the world when we cannot even protect the ones that hold the key to our future?" Loki said in outrage. He had no idea he had such concern and passion for children but he did. He didn't regret it though, the god was very concerned for Pinnochio, he and the child had a lot in common.
"Absolutely. Mechakara and Tony Stark do indeed seem like a battle worthy to see. As well as you against maleficent. Could be fun" Loki agreed, a pleasant smile once again on his features as the conversation lead to talking of future battles.
"I thank you. It is more or less a problem I must face myself unfortunately. You need not need to put yourself in a situation like that if you do not want to my friend" Loki calmly responded, glad that Hades and he were now considered friends. He was glad to be on the god of death's positive side. It was useful as well as personally comfortable.
"You could if you tried. Mount Olympus is quite a place to see I heard" Loki said, a interested tone in his voice. He nodded and chuckled as Hades made a rather amusing pun about fire "Yes. Best control your distaste for the name, for it can lead your enemies to grow petty and use it against you"
He sipped more wine and chuckled as Hades continued to show disgust for the name Pluto. As aware of Hades' dislike he was, Loki found it rather funny to see the god of death so annoyed by a pointless name "Yes. Hades is far nicer. But you best be glad, according to the romans, Zeus is supposed to be named "Jupiter" to them, which in my opinion is far more humiliating" He chuckled lightly at that
