Hard To Believe (Kim)

(OCC: Magnus and Kim friendship thread. March 7th, afternoon)

Two days he had been here. Two days this war he was forced into that he didn't believe in or didn't entirely put effort in yet. Sure he took the live-threatening and endangering of others very seriously, it was very evident that there were people attacking them and that they were in some sort of danger but making it sound as if it was a war was a hard thing to admit. Magnus Martinsson was a self-proclaimed "realist" therefore he took the people against them as people who were just attacking them and the heroes, his "army", were the ones fighting back but he felt the war was a exaggeration. He suggested arresting Ask Thatguy and Facilier to the police but it was quickly put down, saying they were too powerful for that making Magnus slightly annoyed. Magnus then suggested calling backup but the suggestion was put down, saying it would cause the government to take down a situation they would not listen to, which was one Magnus honestly understood and agreed with. He didn't like the fact, though, that he didn't really get to know the majority of people. However, he did like quite a few, particularly Dr. Linksano and Kim. Dr. Linksano was someone who seemed to get his head on right, despite the appearance, and was admittedly attractive, while Kim was sensible and pretty friendly in general.

Speaking of Kim, Magnus seemed to relate to her a bit more than the rest of his new members, linksano was a different tale to tell but Kim could definitely be someone to talk to. Ironically, Magnus heard footsteps as he was sitting in the bench near the house, and he saw it was Kim. Magnus smirked and responded "Normally I think two's a crowd, but I can make exceptions"

[Kim Possible]

Kim walked out into the porch and sighed. She missed Ron, Monique, Wade, her family and Middleton. She even missed Bonnie, Mr. Barkin and even her old enemies like Drakken. Well Shego was still here so she still had her to worry about and the rest of the villain armies. She never would have expected her desire to get money would lead her to be a spy/secret agent and eventually end up on another on an alternate Earth. She paused hearing a voice and she looked up seeing Magnus and grinned. She smiled taking a seat next to him.

"How are you adjusting? I know being pulled from the past and adjusting to this time could be difficult. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My world is modern similar to this one. Plus I'm used to the bizarre and strange being a spy. But if you ever want someone to help you adapt to the modern era I can be like your tour guide or whatever." said Kim.

She smiled at him. She wanted to help. All her instincts were telling her to go spy on Facilier, Ask That Guy, and the others but she had no plan. No gadgets from Wade. No backup from Ron, Team Go, or Global Justice. She was on her own. Well she still had the army but aside from Lilo and Nani she didn't know them very well. And she'd only met Lilo and Nani once. She wanted to get to know the people here better since she might be stuck here awhile and it'd be nice to have some friends here.

Being a detective of the police force, Magnus had a way of knowing there was things on Kim's mind before she took her seat. Understandbly the poor teen was probably pulled from her home too if she knew about all these things with Critic and his enemies. Out of all the people, he related to the teen the most, she acted quite like he used to do at a younger age. More calm and cheerful, while he was much more cynical and sarcastic. The man, despite that, gave a small smile at the girl as she politely asked him how he was and if he was handling this well. Magnus raised a eyebrow when she offered to help him with this if he was from a different timeline. That wasn't true. Magnus's time was around the same time as Kim's was, modern and full of technology and whatnot. So he quickly responded, somewhat defensively "Oh I handle the time just fine. I'm from a modern world myself kid. I'm from the modern age even though I live actually around sweden in europe. So I don't need help knowing what's what around here"

He winced, feeling he was acting slightly harsh. Kim was actually being kind to him. So with a small sigh he responded "OK, sorry. I mean to say I'm from a modern time and while I appreciate your offer I'm gonna decline it" He then looked to the ground and scoffed slightly "What I am not handling so well is the fact there's a private war between tons of movie, tv and whatnot characters and it's supposed to be secret. And the fact I was pulled here by a time machine, time machines normally are just in science fiction bull-shit stories" He turned to her then widened his eyes, sounding truly and sincerely impressed with her "Yeah? You're a spy? No offense but you're a bit young for that aren't you? Not that it matters. I started training in the academy after I graduated high-school. Police work was my college" He smirked again.

Kim paused looking at him and blushed realizing her mistake when he said he was also from the modern time.

"Sorry. I thought you were that king from the past. Henry I think. Or was it Hal. You guys could pass for brothers." said Kim.

She glanced at his tone in surprise but he quickly apologized and she smiled.

"That's ok. This was just a misunderstanding anyway." said Kim.

She smiled trying to not it bother him as he did apologize. She paused as he spoke again.

"Well actually it exists in my world. I used it to get to the past and the future. Of course since I wasn't in the present my enemies took over and I had to stop them in the future and then go back into the past and save myself as a kid from getting killed. So I'm familiar with time travel. But you're right. This isn't your normal every day kind of thing." said Kim.

She grinned at him.

"I get that a lot. I was the cheerleader in my high school. I'm a teenager girl with crushes. But my first job was an accident. Someone was trying to get a group of spies called Team Impossible. And well that's one letter off from my name Kim Possible. I took the job and haven't looked back. My first few cases were a bit rough with no training but with help from my friends Wade and my boyfriend Ron I became quite successful at this. I've even joined Team Impossible and their bosses Global Justice as well. Of course now that I'm stuck here they're all probably wondering where I am and worried about me. It sucks that we can't even find a way to send messages back to let people know we're ok." said Kim.

She paused realizing he said he went to an academy and started doing police work in college.

"Police work? So you're a policeman? That sounds cool." said Kim.

"Oh that shakespere-escue dude. I saw him, we freaked out slightly and he told me to call him Hal. And yeah, I do think we could if we wanted to" Magnus responded to Kim's apoligy/comment about him looking familar to Hal, some person who was a king in past times. Magnus didn't really care and he saw that Kim made a simple mistake so it wasn't a issue. He then nodded with a small, almost unnoticeable, grin replying "Yeah, best we forgive and forget. Simple misunderstanding. I have simple features anyway" He chuckled slightly, a bit too quick to notice but he did it anyway. He then turned to hear her respond to his slight apprehension with Time Travel, and she suddenly told him a story of how she handled this before, so he was more than happy to believe her. He might not take the war seriously but the time travel he did now thanks to Kim's confirmation. He responded, honestly impressed "Jesus. You had quite the fun-time with time travel then. Was it for a mission or did you do it for fun?"

He then listened as Kim patiently talked about her experiences as a spy as well as a high-school. She started out accidently but kept the job and he smirked as she humorously and kindly explained to him about her humble beginnings which changed to the better thanks to some friend of hers and her boyfriend. She then expressed concern about contact and he sighed as well "You're right kim. As much as I hate to say it but I wish I can call my mates and let them know I'm here. Sure they'd think I'm drunk but it'd at least let them know I was still breathing" He sighed again, thinking immediately about Wallander and the others. He didn't always enjoy them around but they were people he knew and trusted. They were still his friends. He was starting to actually miss them.

He turned to her when she got excited when he mentioned his police-work. That was something he took pride in. His parents did it and he enjoyed the profession. He perked his head up and pretended to shoot her with his pretend finger gun "Yep, I guess you can say I'm both a police officer and a detective" He then chuckled "Time for backstory. Like I said I was born and raised in sweaden miss, so I never been to any other country, well maybe except england but that was for a short while. Anyway, I worked with this older chap named Wallander and even though he's a bit of a emo idiot he's my friend and we've worked a lot of cases together. A particular favorite of mine is one with this old man who got killed in his car instantly, because his murderer brought a chair for no reason" Magnus rolled his eyes "Murder can be quite exhausting so you might as well pull up a chair" He snorted at his bad pun but tried not to dive into it too much. He then smiled to Kim "So you now know a bit more about myself just as I do with you. I think this little talk is working quite well"

[Kim Possible]

Kim nodded glad things were okay between them.

"Oh just so you know you also look like someone else. Not sure if you met him yet but Thor's here. He's one of the Norse gods and his brother Loki looks just like you. Thor said something about Hal resembling his brother Loki who's on Ask That Guy's side. So you and Hal could be targeted especially if someone in Facilier's Army mistakes either of you for Loki so you shoud be careful out there." said Kim.

She nodded in agreement glad to just move on from this misunderstanding.

"Well it was a mission. You see three of my villains Monkey Fist, Dr. Draken, and Shego used a powerful artifact to travel through time to the past. They were going to kill me while i was a kid and defenseless. So I would never become the spy that ruined all their plans for world domination. I stopped them but Shego stole the ray and went into the future and took over Earth. I followed her but thanks to time travel I wasn't around to stop her from taking over in the past so I had to take her out in the future so I could back to the present and stop her from taking over." said Kim.

Seeing Magnus's expression she chuckled.

"Yeah. That's what I felt by the end of it. It was a bit confusing but Wade helped explain it. The point was the plan was foiled and Shego, Draken, and Monkey First were put in jail. They eventually escaped though like most of my enemies do." said Kim.

She smiled putting a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"Perhaps we can ask if they can invent a way for us to talk to our friends and families in our worlds. It has to be easier than rebuilding the device that brought us here." said Kim.

She grinned as he talked about his work.

"An officer and a detective? Impressive." said Kim.

She went quiet listening to his stories and grinned when he finished.

"He got killed instantly? Was there a bomb in the car? Did he get shot?" asked Kim.

She chuckled at his joke. She grinned getting an idea.

"There are a couple detectives here. Sherlock Holmes and Mike Stone. I think you'd enjoy hanging out with them. You could talk about each other's cases. It wouldn't be the same as with Hollander but maybe it'll make you feel less homesick." said Kim.

She grinned at his next statement.

"You're right. We both know a little about each other. Like the crush you have on Linksano. You should be more direct with him. He can be a bit dense at times." said Kim.

[Magnus Martinsson]

"Loki? I haven't heard that name since I was taught norse mythology in high school. He's real? Holy crap. Now I've heard everything" Magnus responded as Kim warned that he looked similar to the god of lies. He sighed and nodded "Thanks miss. You got me out of a confusing mess in the future. I'll be sure to be careful. I'm sure I can handle dopplegangers though" He then shrugged after his somewhat sardonic comment. He then turned again to look out at what was in front of him. That was until Kim explained in further detail about the time travel, something to do with her enemies and whatnot leading to a whole chaotic attack on Kim's life, that caused a shocked/confused look of Magnus' face to appear then Kim explained that by the end her enemies were defeated and a relieved look came across his features. "Again. You had quite a time with that I see"

His amused stature turned into one of a sober depression once more when Kim suggested that they could ask to invent a way to chat with their friends or family since the machine that brought them here could not be remade. "But even then it'll take time, I'm not very patient as you can tell. If they can do it it'll take forever, if not the whole idea would be pointless" At Kim's expression of slight hurt, Magnus put a hand on her arm and responded "Sorry. I'm cynical. You have a good idea. Hey, we'll try to ask them later. Right now I just wanna wrap my head around this whole big bang"

"In a way, yes I'm both. I am not one to brag but it's a hard job to do so yeah, I'm pretty good at it and I'm proud of my job. I get rid of scumbags and idiots who don't deserve to walk freely, I always like being right though. Especially when Wallander is so sure of himself" A chuckle escaped his lips and he scratched his head as a pleased/amused smile came across his features. He then cringed at the mention of his case and answered quickly "He was strangled to death and it was easy to do that since the man was old. The murderer then put him in a car and threw the car down to make it look like a accident. It didn't work because there were some marks on his neck" He shrugged again. He then looked to kim at her suggestion to hang out with Sherlock and Mike Stone, he shrugged at that "Maybe. I like working alone but those two seem to have their heads on straight. We'll see"

He then chuckled and raised a eyebrow with a big grin as Kim mentioned Linksano "Hey it's not my fault I dig people who actually have a brain. Besides, he's got a good physque" He then heard Kim respond that Linksano was a bit dense and magnus needed to blunt or direct with him in order to give linksano the idea magnus wanted him to get. Magnus nodded and frowned with a bit of disappointment "As boring as that sounds, I think you're right. At first I thought he was playing hard to get or coy if you will, after a while though I figured that he wasn't kidding and he has no idea what I'm talking about" He then laughed a little "I gotta admit though, the fact he thought there was something in my eye was kinda funny" He immediately frowned "How the hell did he assume that anyway?!"

[Kim Possible]

Kim paused and smiled.

"Your welcome. Your my friend. And I look out for my friends. And if anyone mistakes you for Loki and tries to hurt you they'll have to get through me and the rest of this army." said Kim.

She paused as he commented he had a quite a time and she chuckled as he had ironically made a time pun.

"Yes. I guess you could say time was on my side." said Kim.

Okay maybe that was bad joke. She'd been hanging around Ron too much. She did miss him, Wade, and the rest of her friends though. Hearing him say it might take forever then the whole idea would be pointless. She looked hurt at the tone as he put a hand and apologized. She smiled.

"I know. I just want to tell them we're ok. My boyfriend, my family, and my friends are probably all worried sick. Hopefully Global Justice is taking care of any problems my enemies are causing back home." said Kim.

She listened as he spoke again about his work and she shuddered as he described a particular murder. It made her grateful her enemies in her old world just wanted to steal things or kidnap people. They tried to threaten people of course but she always came to the rescue in time. But people in Sherlock, Mike, and Magnus's line of work didn't always get to save people. They had to do the dirty work of catching murderers, thieves, and other criminals after crimes happened.

When he said he liked working alone she nodded.

"Well a good detective knows when to have backup. We have three detectives and a spy here. Perhaps the four of us should get together and plan strategies and invite some of the others. At least a rescue mission. Princess Jasmine has been a prisoner for far too long and we need to rescue her. I'm surprised Maleficent hasn't gone after her by now." said Kim.

She chuckled as the topic shifted to Linksano and how clueless he was.

"It's not your fault he's a bit dense. And he is cute. He reminds me a bit of my friend Wade." said Kim.

She put a hand on his shoulder. as he sounded disappointed.

"I think it's cute. He has no idea you like him. You should be more direct. Maybe get him flowers or candy. Or something else he likes. Ask Linkara. He's good friends with him. I'm sure he could help you out with that." said Kim.

She chuckled.

"Well you were winking at him. He probably thought you had dust or something in your eye. And I've heard winking can also be a tick or a nervous habit. You're being too subtle for the guy unfortunately." said Kim.

[Magnus Martinsson]

Magnus was flattered to have Kim behind him as his friend and a member of the team. It was nice to have someone have your back and he grinned widely now, liking kim more and more as the conversation went on. Magnus snorted as Kim made a time pun also, sure it was bad but Magnus had a good sense of humor when it came to puns, as basic of humor as they were. "Leave the bad jokes to me Kim. That's my job" Magnus sarcastically warned. He was about to apoligize again for being disrespectful to her ideas but she seemed to not be offended and explained that she was just missing her family and friends. Magnus could completely understand that. He missed his friends too. Anybody who was trapped in a different place would probably miss their homes and want to go back, Magnus sure would. "I know. You're right. Your idea was good, it's just I couldn't help but point the negative stuff out. I'm sure you'll find a way to let you know your boyfriend, family and your friends know that you're alright. Keep the positivity miss"

He enjoyed telling her about his job but saw that she shuddered, apparently her line of work didn't handle murderers or serial killers or kiddnappers, just a simple cartoon-like situation where the bad guy just did things because he could. Magnus was glad, for he wasn't sure if a teenager could handle that. When kim responded that while it was good working alone, it was nice having back up Magnus nodded, she had a point. As much as he prefered being by himself, he wasn't stupid enough to do everything alone. And the fact that kim was a spy and sherlock holmes and mike stone were detectives too, he had to rely on that. "Yeah. We should make the four of us a team. It's pretty important for us to, otherwise things might not get done quickly" He then pondered about Jasmine's capture and nodded "I agree. If she's been gone for more than a week, it's been too long. We gotta find her" He learned of her capture from talking in the kitchen from the leaders such as Critic so he knew her situation enough to understand it.

Then Linksano was once again brought up and nodded at Kim's responses to him. He responded quickly "Yeah. He really is cute. And dense. You're right. I think I need to be a bit more blunt. That said, I still was enjoying the flirting. I wanna let him know that he's got my attention though, and since you catch my drift you know what I'm talking about when I mean I really like him" He shrugged. Linksano was handsome and Magnus always had a thing for both women and men. He was bisexual and the only ones that knew that were Wallander and his parents, and all three accepted it so magnus was not ashamed to admit it, it was just never brought up or mentioned so magnus didn't bother with things that weren't bothering people to begin with. He smiled at Kim's advice to give linksano a better message by giving him gifts like flowers or candy, as well as asking Linkara for some help. "Yeah, that guy with the derby hat or something? He was laughing so hard. I'm not surprised though. It IS funny but also really annoying" He then nodded in understanding about the winking. Sometimes it wasn't for flirting, it was a tick or a nervous habit like Kim said. He responded, now frowning again "Apparently I am. But he is smart enough to know that winking can be used for different things to be fair. Still, I've never meant anyone so oblivious. Sure he's dense but I'm determined" He chuckled slightly, though he was being quite serious.

[Kim Possible]

Kim chuckled at his comment.

"Well I can't help you there. Most of the jokes I know are pretty bad." said Kim.

She listened to him and sighed.

"But you're right too. I'm just trying to stay positive. Because I know if I start crying I don't know if I'll be able to stop. My family, my boyfriend, my life. Everything's gone. I do have a couple friends Lilo and Nani from my world. But I only met them once on a mission. But it's not the same." said Kim.

She paused realizing she was starting to tear up as she wiped them away.

"Sorry. I guess I'm just homesick." said Kim.

She paused as she agreed of making a team with Holmes and Stone.

"Sounds like a plan. You know perhaps we could form a planning committee and invite others too. Not just to rescue Jasmine. But to make some good battle plans. We can't just keep doing what we're doing. People are going to keep getting hurt or worse get killed. And eventually, Ask That Guy or Facilier's armies could win if we don't have the right plan." said Kim.

Kim smiled glad he agreed to try to rescue Jasmine.

"There must be a way to get her out of there. Ask That Guy might be expecting a rescue. Maybe we could arrange a meeting to trade something for her. I don't know if anyone is eager to do another rescue mission. We lost someone on our last one." said Kim.

She sighed feeling sad Ma-Ti was gone. He was about her age and he was gone. She sympathized with how Iheart and the others were feeling. If that had been Ron she would have been devastated. She chuckled as the topic shifted to Linksano.

"I think you two would make a good couple. I just don't think romance is his strong suit. Perhaps you could help out in the lab and try to get his attention that way." said Kim.

Kim smirked as he spoke about Linkara.

"It was amusing. I can't believe how dense he could be. And I thought Ron was dense at times. Linksano's much worse." said Kim.

She nodded when he realized the winking and smiled as he said he was determined to get Linksano's attention.

"Well if you need any help let me know. Although I still think science might be your way in." said Kim.

Magnus responded only with a smirk as Kim responded she had bad jokes all the time. He then frowned as Kim defended that she was trying to be positive because she was homesick and began to tear up. The detective immediately felt bad and gave her a small hug "Listen. Kiddo, I totally get how you're feeling. You're entitled to cope how you want to cope. Don't listen to me. I'm more cynical than you" He then gave her a assuring soft look "You'll see your family and friends and boyfriend again. Just not today and most likely not soon but you will see them again, that I know for sure"

"You know I like you Kim. You would've been a great addition to our detective agency. Sounds like a plan. We'll make a talking committee for discussions on battles and other things. And if rescue missions don't work than trading might" He then listened as Kim said that the last rescue mission ended up with a casualty. Magnus widened his eyes "Oh. Jesus. I'm so sorry. I'm sure whomever died was a good man or woman"

She then brought up that she was amused with the density of Linksano, he was too but also annoyed. "Probably should. Maybe he needs a environment where he's comfortable in, like the lab. Yeah, I once had a girl who I thought was dense but she was just really coy, and it ended up us dating for a while before it got nasty" He shuddered "Don't wanna talk about it but I've dated before so Linksano's not my first guy or girl"

He then nodded again "You and Linkara helped me a couple days ago but I still might need your help to get his attention. Science may be my only weapon now" He chuckled in complete amusement

[Kim Possible]

Kim grinned.

"I should be used to it. A lot of people here are more cynical than me. I guess I guess I just try to be more hopeful. It's just how I was raised. Probably doesn't help my last name's possible and our family's catchphrase is anything is possible for a Possible." said Kim.

Kim chuckled at that. She smiled at him.

"I'm sure we will. Someday. I guess that day won't be as soon as we'd like though." said Kim.

Kim smiled at him.

"Thanks. I think we would be a great team in either of our worlds. And I'm sure we'll be a good team in this war too." said Kim.

She nodded.

"Perhaps we could invite Linksano to these meetings. Be more chances for you to get his attention." said Kim.

She paused.

"I'm not sure if they'd trade for prisoners. None of them have before . We've had to rescue them every time." said Kim.

She paused and nodded.

"Yes. It was a teenager boy younger than me. His name was Ma-Ti. He was only 14. He had a girlfriend and several friends. I didn't know him as well as I wish I had. And now he's gone." said Kim.

She paused as she wiped tears from her eyes.

"He was a true hero. He took a blast meant for someone else and helped us free everyone. And this was the second time he died saving us. A powerful sorcerer Facilier revived him a few weeks ago to try to force him to be a spy. But that spell was broken. But now he's gone again." said Kim.

Kim chuckled as the topic shifted back to Linksano.

"Yes the lab. Although I still think you're too subtle. Direct approach might be better. Then again maybe it won't if he doesn't realize what you're trying to do." said Kim.

She smirked wondering what the best way would be to get through to Linksano. She looked as he talked about another girl.

"I'm sorry to hear that. That girl sounds awful. But she sounds like she didn't deserve you. So you're better off without her." said Kim.

She nodded when he said he didn't want to talk about it.

"Fair enough. I've got my own bad relationships I wish I could forget." said Kim.

She grinned.

"Sure. I wouldn't mind helping again. Even if we have to lock the two of in you a closet to get through to him." said Kim, chuckling.

[Magnus Martinsson]

"Hey that's not a bad way to go about with life. Just because a lot of us are negative doesn't mean you can't be positive. I might need your positivity anyway" Magnus said encouragingly before chuckling in amusement as Kim told him that her last name was possible and the quote she learned from her family that anything was possible with a possible. He gave a lighthearted shrug and responded "Well that's good. I'm glad your family is more positive about life. That's actually good" He patted her shoulder "I didn't mean to act harshly to your advice. I'm sorry"

"Unfortunately not. We'll have to wait and hope, like you're doing right now" Magnus said calmly. He then nodded in complete agreement as Kim suggested inviting Linksano along for the little group meetings, so the two can spend more time together. He sounded a little excited as he spoke "Sounds like a good idea. Also Linksano is pretty smart overall, he showed me a lot of useful gadgets he has made, so I think bringing him along would help us as well as give me a chance to talk to him more"

"Well if we can't trade with them, then we have no choice than to keep rescuing them. Mostly because it's the only option I think we have so far. But since people might be too nervous of a rescue then maybe bribery with money for prisoners or something down that line. Either we find something the villain's will trade our men for if they get captured or we just stick to the status quo and plan safer rescue missions with much more safety protcols so they won't cost lives for us" Magnus said, stern and patient as he laid out his hands in some sort of planning motion as he kept talking. Kim and he were indeed growing a bond within this and he knew it. This discussion was like talking to a younger, optimistic, kinder wallander. She was pretty much just as smart as wallander and she actually LISTENED to him more than he ever did.

"Well he was a good young man and this Facilier fellow will be brought to justice I'm sure. Well since Facilier revived this poor kid again to use him for his own benefit is terrible and I'm glad the kid got away from him even though he's dead again. It must be terrible for his girlfriend and friends to go through as well as you. I never met him either but I'll do anything in my power to help out and prevent something like that happening again" Magnus said firmly. He was a bit doubtful of magic still but if Gene existed than Facilier most likely did too so he didn't say anything other than consoles and a promise to his new friend that he would do his part to prevent more lives being lost. "I can't say anything else other than I'm sure he was a good kid and that I'm sure he's in a better place now"

"Well I'll do more direct conversations with him and see how it goes. I'll go to the comfortable enviroment technque too so he won't get nervous or think negatively towards me" Magnus confirmed to kim as she commented that he should be more blunt about his intentions. Magnus knew the scientist was dense for sure but he knew deep down that within every man was a heart craving for a companion. He just needed to find it.

"Yeah, a very pushy woman she was. She asked far too much out of me during the end of our relationship. I appreciate your words though, miss" Magnus said, a grim look on his face as he remembered his previous relationship. Magnus had a lot of people break up with him, some were pleasant and friendly enough for the person and magnus to politely/nicely talk, others were mean and nasty enough for magnus to wish to forget such as the one he was thinking up right now. This was a reason why he was more determined for a consistant relationship, maybe it was the inner lonliness he felt within. He nodded as Kim said she understood that he didn't want to talk about and nodded his thanks in response.

"The of coming out of the closet comes to mind for some reason, as you said that miss" Magnus laughed after a while. He shrugged again and responded "Anyway, I don't think we need to go that far. I'll let you know if I need help though, I think I can handle it myself for now. I could be getting through to him and not even know it"

Kim grinned.

"Thanks. I guess I've just always had a positive attitude. Hard not to with my family. Plus in my line of work you just have to look at the good side. I mean my family, friends, and I have nearly been killed several times. I even fell in love with a robot. One of my enemies used him to distract me so he could try to take over my town Middleton. I figured out in time to stop him but it was so embarassing. It was one of the few times my enemies duped me. Of course something good came out of it. Ron and I got together." said Kim.

She smiled at him.

"It's alright. We just look at the world differently. I'm more positive and you're a bit more negative. I didn't take it too personally." said Kim.

Kim sighed.

"Well I hate waiting." said Kim.

She chuckled as Magnus agreed with her idea to include Linksano in the meetings.

"Yeah. Very smart about inventions and science. But love not so much. The poor guy. Maybe you should find out if he's straight. I mean I wouldn't want you to keep pursuing him if he's not just dense but straight too. Maybe you should talk to Linkara alone when you get a chance." said Kim.

She paused as he talked about trading.

"Well the only thing they'd probably want to trade would be our leaders or weapons. Things we can't really afford to lose. They had one of our leaders Nostalgia Chick for weeks and it took us awhile to get her back along with the other prisoners who were with her then. We can't reason with them anyway. We'll have to find a way to rescue them." said Kim.

Kim paused listening to Magnus and nodded.

"Yes. I didn't know Ma-Ti that well and I wish I had. Facilier's army needs to pay. Especially Malachite. He's the one who killed Ma-Ti. He's the one we need to take out. Plus he's one of the leaders so it'd weaken Facilier's army for sure." said Ki.

Kim grinned as the topic shifted back to Linksano.

"I hope you can get through to him. But you should try talking to the others like Linkara and Harvey. I'm sure they'd could give you some insights on how to get through to him. They do seem to know him best.

She grinned as she agreed about the woman.

"That woman reminds me of Bonnie and Shego. Not someone I'd wish on my worst enemies. And your welcome. I'm just saying the truth. She doesn't deserve you or anyone else really until she gets her act together. That's my opinion anyway." said Kim.

She chuckled at his joke about coming out of the closet.

"I suppose you're right. The offer still stands though. I just want you to be happy. Even if it's not with Linksano." said Kim.

Although she hoped Magnus did get through to Linksano. She thought they'd make a good couple.

"Well yeah. With everything you just described to me and all that, I am glad you're still on the positive side of life. It's good for you" Magnus said, trying his hardest to make up for what he said. He liked that Kim was with the positive side. Maybe someone like him should share the same attitude.

"Oh good. Well, maybe I should change my perspective a little. It's not too much to be hopeful" Magnus replied patiently, glad that his friend wasn't taking his responses too personally.

"Yeah. That is true. He may be dense but he may also be into girls more. I like your advice, miss. I'll talk to linkara about all that soon enough. Knowing linkara and linksano's relationship, I think he knows the scientist well enough to see his preferences" Magnus said, slightly worried that kim might be right. What if Linksano found out and would feel awkward about magnus' persuits? It would completely make the situation awkward and unneeded. The last thing magnus wanted was to make someone he wanted to like uncomfortable about him.

"You're right. Trading, now that I think about it, is a very dangerous idea. The best option is rescue missions but if they didn't work well before, maybe we can find ways to improve them. Improving something is better than doing something completely different" Magnus sternly responded, patiently and carefully planning things out.

"I absolutely agree. No one and I mean no-one should get away with murder. It's a crime by law and a crime morally. That kid had so much to live for I'm sure. We'll get Malachite and facilier the whatfor kim and their band of hoodlums. People who think harming someone innocent is good are people I wish to see punished" Magnus replied, a personal anger coursing through him. He never approved of anything harmful to others particuarly illegal activity.

"I hope so too, miss. Hopefully his friends linkara and harvey can give me some personal assistance. Better to know a lot about someone from friends instead of assuming things" Magnus replied as the situation got right back to linksano again.

"Well I'm touched by your opinion. You're very nice, kim. I'm glad to have you behind my back" Magnus responded, patting kim's shoulder kindly. He really did think of kim as a good friend so far. If this war was something he couldn't escape from, he was glad to have people like kim around.

"Well thanks, kim. I'm glad you want my happiness. I wish the same things for you. I hope you can get ron back and hopefully be happy here too" Magnus said with a big smile.
