((March 3rd. Open to Littlefoot, Cera and DeathCry. Worst thread name ever))
Cera was sitting down in a hall upstairs. She was dragging a foot across the ground in circles. The little triceratops was visibly upset. The rescue attempt that had failed miserably was still bothering her, and what didn't help was that she and the other kids seemed to being punished for their genuine act of kindness. Sure, it ended horribly, but Cera was angry that they had all gotten in trouble for trying to help. She repressed the urge to start headbutting in walls. Cera had decided to go out in the halls where it was pretty vacant to try and come to terms with it.
She ignored the other dinosaur, to the end of the hall, who was sitting close to a window and staring out. Cera wasn't much of a fan of the domeheads, so she wasn't interested in getting involved with DeathCry.
Littlefoot sighed as he walked into the room. He spotted Cera and the Deathcry. He didn't know Deathcry that well but he had joined their side. And Chomper had been their friend so why not Deathcry as well. He smiled at them both trying to be cheerful.
"Hey guys. This feels just like old times doesn't it Cera. Only think that would make make it better is if Ducky, Petrie, and Spike were here. It feels odd being on an adventure without them. The five of us were a team. And I miss them. And my grandparents. And the Great valley too. I hope they're all ok." said Littlefoot.
He smiled sitting down next to Cera hoping he could cheer her up. He turned to Deathcry and smiled.
"Thanks for coming to back us up Deathcry. You were great. Wish I could fight that good. Then maybe Critic and the others would stop treating us like kids." said Littlefoot.

Cera looked up at the longneck and her stoney glare softened. It was true that Littlefoot wasn't always on her good side, but at the moment, the company of a friend was more than welcome. She couldn't help as a small smile appeared on her beak. It was a bittersweet grin though. What happened back at Facilier's base wasn't anything to be proud of. In addition to that, Littlefoot's mention of her friends brought her to think of them - something she had been avoiding like the plague. Anything that brought her mood down she tried to find some excuse to brush off or not think about it at all. Maybe it would be better to talk about it?
"Hah. I'm sure Ducky, Petrie and Spike are fine, other than wondering where we went too I mean. They're just a far away," The three horn's green eyes looked off distantly for a second, "We'll make it back. I just wish I could let them and my daddy know where we are and we're okay."
Finishing, Cera blinked off her cloudy gaze and turned to look at the green dinosaur.

DeathCry flinched, surprised he was spoken to. His vermilion eyes reluctantly were forced away from the window. The pachycephalosaurus knew it was proper to look at the person talking to you, but he rarely did it. It didn't seem right for him to talk to potential preys. As far as he was concerned, he was a sharptooth. His frown lessened a small bit as he struggled to think of how to respond. Redirecting his eyes, he turned his head and examined the cut left on his side from the fight.

Littlefoot nodded as she spoke.
"You're right. I miss them and Ali and Chomper and everyone else. I guess it's going to be awhile before we get home." said Littlefoot.
He sighed looking at Cera sadly.
"We've been seperated from our family and the Great Valley before but it was always the five of us. I wish Ducky, Petrie, and Spike were here. It feels different without them here." said Littlefoot.
He paused as Deathcry spoke and he smiled at him.
"You're only a kid like us right? Besides I think you were great. I was too scared to fight when the trouble started. I wish I'd done something." said Littlefoot.

"Yeah well," Cera huffed hotly, "I would have fought if anyone would let me."
The yellow triceratops scuffed one of her feet over the ground. Her angry expression faltered, remembering what had really happened. Cera wouldn't admit directly that she or even the other children had made a mistake.
"Not that it would have made a difference, anyway," Cera added, still tartly, but with a more defeated tone.

DeathCry shifted his body a little bit, apparently becoming discomforted with his sitting position. The pachycephalosaurus was completely out of his element. He didn't talk much in his normal life. When he did talk, it was usually to his sharptooth "father", who often didn't have much to say in response or was too grumpy for the moment to do anything but snap at him. DeathCry knew that he shouldn't have a reason to be so shy.
"No. It's alright. I think they didn't expect you to fight. If one of us was hurt, I'm sure the adults would blame themselves. I don't like that."

Littlefoot grinned at Cera.
"I'm sure you would have. You're pretty tough when you want to be." said Littlefoot.
He'd gotten on her bad side a few times and she'd knocked him over and bumped him with her horns before. He tried his best not to make her mad but well things didn't always work out that way. But she eventually forgave him every time. He paused as she spoke saying it wouldn't have made a difference. He knew she was right and hated to see his friend so upset.
"Well we'll get a better chance to prove ourselves. After all this isn't the first time we've faced dancer. The Egg stealers, sharp teeth, the big water.. no matter what it was we always stopped them. Or at least were able to get away from them. We just have to get tough. Like your dad always used to say." said Littlefoot.
He paused turning to Deathcry and nodded.
"Like they're already doing. That poor kid Ma-Ti died. He tried to talk us out of it. We wouldn't listen. I feel so bad. We should have found another way to rescue the others." said Littlefoot.

Cera actually thought for a second, scrunching up her nose a little bit. The expression on her face loosened, as she appeared to come upon some conclusion or another.
"We didn't want to get into a big battle or anything! It was those other kids that found us and blew our cover. Things woulda been different if we weren't spotted. I know I didn't come along wanting all the grown-ups to go after each-other like they did."
After tapping her toes against the floor briefly, she lifted her head again.
"But, I think the other grown-ups will be okay. I'm not sure how we could help, though. I want to, but-"

"It doesn't matter now," DeathCry interrupted in a rather cold tone.
The dome-head wasn't looking in their direction. Living his life in the Mysterious Beyond had almost entirely desensitized him to the idea and sight of death. Even so, his noble nature kept him from ever being able to to simply ignore when a youth falls. But DeathCry's way of coping was to shut it all out - pretending like it didn't exist or like it was somehow just. He felt as if such things just happened and it was wrong to interfere. With the high density of sharpteeth and sparse conditions, it wasn't difficult to be cold toward mourning others when there was the issues of those who were still living.
"You're right. It was an accident. But we should have planned for that. We should have brought more help with us. If the others hadn't shown up when they did we could have been killed or locked up in the dungeon like Iheart and the others were." said Littlefoot.
He sighed knowing they didn't always plan. His adventures with Cera and the others back home they'd usually gone off without a plan.
"I know they'll be ok eventually. It's just Ma-Ti dying and Jasmine getting captured has taken its toll on everyone." said Littlefoot.
He paused glancing at Deathcry who said it didn't matter now.
"I guess you're right. It's over. But that doesn't I mean I have to like it." said Littlefoot.
